Definitions
- the invention relates to a coupling piece for releasable connection of corner fittings of neighboring containers, especially one above the other stacked container on board ships, according to the Preamble of claim 1.
- Dome pieces of the type mentioned are used in technical jargon referred to as "twistlocks". These dome pieces are predominant used for the transport of containers on board Ships. With the dome pieces, the containers are one below the other and connected to the ship. This is supposed to result in relative shifts the container during shipping be prevented.
- the invention is based on the object To further develop the coupling piece of the type mentioned at the beginning, that it has a simple structure and is reliable.
- the coupling piece according to the invention the features of claim 1.
- the Locking bolt and contact surfaces assigned to the plunger is achieved that when a contact surface on the locking bolt at least one corresponding contact surface of the ram comes to rest, the locking bolt with the crossbars in a specific position relative to the housing is reliably locked.
- On the middle part of the crossbar any number of contact surfaces can be arranged so is chosen that each relative position occurring in practice the crossbar to the housing has at least one contact surface assigned. At least two investment areas are the Locking bolt assigned. If the locking bolt has several contact surfaces, the plunger only needs one Show (only) contact area. Alternatively, it is conceivable to arrange several contact surfaces on the tappet, while the middle part has only one (single) contact surface.
- the contact surfaces are preferably designed so that if they are not in their locking the crossbars corresponding relative position to each other, automatically get into such a position by twisting the Locking bolt with the cross bolts. That way ensures that the locking bolt automatically in one Position in which a reliable locking of the Crossbar is ensured against further twisting.
- it can be the locking position (with both locked cross bolts), the pre-locking position (with only one locked crossbar) and the unlocked position (with another unlocked crossbar) act.
- the flat or profiled contact surfaces correspond to Locking the locking bolt in the respective position the crossbar so that the respective contact surface on the locking bolt essentially all over the Contact surface of the pressure element.
- In the locking position are the corresponding contact areas running parallel to each other, whereas the free contact surfaces in different levels to that currently with the Contact surface of the pressure element corresponding contact surface lie.
- Ram a longitudinally displaceable guide in the housing having.
- the length of the guide can be such that this in a certain position of the locking bolt, in particular in the locking position of the coupling piece completely in the housing; however, in the rest Positions of the locking bolt part of the guide protrudes from the housing.
- the leadership acts as one Guide rod, a guide tube or a guide tongue formed can be as an indicator that indicates whether that Coupling piece is properly locked.
- an actuating means so flexible that it is about its longitudinal axis is deformable, i.e. bendable, but also in addition to tensile forces Can transmit pressure forces.
- Actuating means of the locking bolts with the cross bolts can be twisted in opposite directions, causing the Actuating means for locking and unlocking the coupling piece suitable is.
- the locking bolt is provided by a Preload the spring so that the locking bolt by the spring is rotatable into its unlocked position.
- the actuating means is only for transmission trained by tensile forces. It is at least in the Locking position of the coupling piece can be locked so that the then acting bias of the spring of the locking bolt does not turn back to the unlocked position. Only by loosening it the locking of the actuating means is due to the spring preload the spring of the locking bolt into the unlocked Position of the coupling piece turned back.
- Another alternative embodiment of the invention provides a return device, preferably as a second Actuating means is formed. Both actuators only need to be trained to transfer tensile forces his. While by the first actuator the locking bolt in the locking position of the coupling piece is rotated, the second actuating means or Return device to do this, the locking bolt in opposite Direction, namely in the unlocked position of the coupling piece, turn back.
- the dome shown here is for semi-automatic Connect stacked containers shown in the figures are not shown.
- the dome piece is composed a housing 20, a locking bolt 21, a Actuating means 22 and a spring-loaded plunger 23.
- the housing 20 of the coupling piece shown is in two parts educated. It is formed from two housing halves 24 and 25. The housing halves 24 and 25 are in the middle Division plane 26 screwed together.
- the division level 26 runs longitudinally through the center of a through hole 27 in Housing 20.
- the division level 26 and the through hole 27 run, based on that shown in FIG. 1 Position of the coupling piece, vertically through the housing 20.
- the exterior of the housing 20 is divided into three sections, namely in a central abutment 28 which at stacked containers between neighboring ones Corner fittings of the containers come to rest as spacers, and two on opposite sides of abutment 28 arranged center pieces 29 and 30, which in corresponding Elongated holes in opposite corner fittings of the Protrude container.
- the locking bolt 21 shown in FIG. 2 sets composed of an essentially cylindrical central part 31 and two crossbars 32 and 33.
- the crossbars 32 and 33 are in one piece at opposite ends of the middle part 31 molded.
- the two crossbars 32 and 33 protrude from opposite ends of the housing 20 out. You are above the respective one Center piece 29 or 30 on the housing 20.
- Die Cross-sectional dimensions of the crossbars 32 and 33 are such chosen that in certain positions of the locking bolt 21 each have only one cross bar 32 or 33 essentially the surface of one of the center pieces 29 and 30 to cover is feasible.
- the crossbars 32 and 33 have one Offset to each other, preferably between 70 and 90 ° lies.
- the crossbars 32 and 33 are conical. Thereby the crossbars 32 and 33 extend to their opposite free ends more or less pointed.
