Definitions

  • the invention relates to a coupling piece for releasable connection of corner fittings of neighboring containers, especially one above the other stacked container on board ships, according to the Preamble of claim 1.
  • Dome pieces of the type mentioned are used in technical jargon referred to as "twistlocks". These dome pieces are predominant used for the transport of containers on board Ships. With the dome pieces, the containers are one below the other and connected to the ship. This is supposed to result in relative shifts the container during shipping be prevented.
  • the invention is based on the object To further develop the coupling piece of the type mentioned at the beginning, that it has a simple structure and is reliable.
  • the coupling piece according to the invention the features of claim 1.
  • the Locking bolt and contact surfaces assigned to the plunger is achieved that when a contact surface on the locking bolt at least one corresponding contact surface of the ram comes to rest, the locking bolt with the crossbars in a specific position relative to the housing is reliably locked.
  • On the middle part of the crossbar any number of contact surfaces can be arranged so is chosen that each relative position occurring in practice the crossbar to the housing has at least one contact surface assigned. At least two investment areas are the Locking bolt assigned. If the locking bolt has several contact surfaces, the plunger only needs one Show (only) contact area. Alternatively, it is conceivable to arrange several contact surfaces on the tappet, while the middle part has only one (single) contact surface.
  • the contact surfaces are preferably designed so that if they are not in their locking the crossbars corresponding relative position to each other, automatically get into such a position by twisting the Locking bolt with the cross bolts. That way ensures that the locking bolt automatically in one Position in which a reliable locking of the Crossbar is ensured against further twisting.
  • it can be the locking position (with both locked cross bolts), the pre-locking position (with only one locked crossbar) and the unlocked position (with another unlocked crossbar) act.
  • the flat or profiled contact surfaces correspond to Locking the locking bolt in the respective position the crossbar so that the respective contact surface on the locking bolt essentially all over the Contact surface of the pressure element.
  • In the locking position are the corresponding contact areas running parallel to each other, whereas the free contact surfaces in different levels to that currently with the Contact surface of the pressure element corresponding contact surface lie.
  • Ram a longitudinally displaceable guide in the housing having.
  • the length of the guide can be such that this in a certain position of the locking bolt, in particular in the locking position of the coupling piece completely in the housing; however, in the rest Positions of the locking bolt part of the guide protrudes from the housing.
  • the leadership acts as one Guide rod, a guide tube or a guide tongue formed can be as an indicator that indicates whether that Coupling piece is properly locked.
  • an actuating means so flexible that it is about its longitudinal axis is deformable, i.e. bendable, but also in addition to tensile forces Can transmit pressure forces.
  • Actuating means of the locking bolts with the cross bolts can be twisted in opposite directions, causing the Actuating means for locking and unlocking the coupling piece suitable is.
  • the locking bolt is provided by a Preload the spring so that the locking bolt by the spring is rotatable into its unlocked position.
  • the actuating means is only for transmission trained by tensile forces. It is at least in the Locking position of the coupling piece can be locked so that the then acting bias of the spring of the locking bolt does not turn back to the unlocked position. Only by loosening it the locking of the actuating means is due to the spring preload the spring of the locking bolt into the unlocked Position of the coupling piece turned back.
  • Another alternative embodiment of the invention provides a return device, preferably as a second Actuating means is formed. Both actuators only need to be trained to transfer tensile forces his. While by the first actuator the locking bolt in the locking position of the coupling piece is rotated, the second actuating means or Return device to do this, the locking bolt in opposite Direction, namely in the unlocked position of the coupling piece, turn back.
