- the vehicle travels backwards under the collecting container 2, as shown in FIG. 8, and does so far until its end wall comes to rest against a corresponding stop on the carriage 18 which is moved completely to the rear.
- the vehicle is raised to its normal position, so that the collecting container 2 is connected at the front end with corresponding pins 3 on the carriage 18, with the driver 21 on the functional device 19 at the same time in the lock door on the collecting container 2 intervene.
- the rear end of the collecting container 2 is supported on the bell rollers 52.
- the collecting container 2 is also moved forward into its final position on the vehicle via the slide 18 after the rear legs 55 have also been pivoted upward, as can be seen from FIG. 10.

- Short distances can also be covered with the pair of swivel arms removed, as the driver's view is not blocked.
- a vehicle designed in this way has the further advantage that the collecting container 2 is a bare steel structure and that no drives are arranged on the collecting container 2 itself. Therefore, no connection means for an energy supply are to be provided here. All actuation means including their associated energy supply are connected to the vehicle. This reduces the costs and the susceptibility to repairs for the collecting container and also allows the handling on the landfill, in particular the dumping, to be carried out with a special landfill vehicle. The collection containers can thus be parked without supervision.
