  • Gripper designed along a closed trajectory circumferential opening element that determines is, between two consecutive printed products, from the support element to intervene and deal with a gripper tongue from above onto the product part above, due to a speed difference between the gripper and the printed product introduced into this Print product to create in the marginal area and hold it by closing the gripper.
  • Continue has the opening unit along a closed Orbital moving piercing element that determines is in an opening section downstream of the support element its orbit between those held by the gripper overhead product part and the bottom Pierce product part to separate the product parts to take off.
  • One of these devices is the piercing element a clamping lever assigned to it is in the opening section and after the piercing element between the product parts, together with the piercing element forming a holding element, the one below To hold the product part in the edge area.
  • the support element downstream opening sections of Movement and orbit move away from the opening element and the piercing element together with if necessary the clamping lever from each other to the product parts from each other to take off.
  • Hold-open element present, the opening element and optionally the holding element, the product parts release if the hold open element between them is retracted to the open print product at Keep further transport open.
  • EP-A-0 518 064 gives the subject of the invention next state of the art again.
  • the known one Device has a conveyor with in a conveying direction running obliquely from above driven, arranged one behind the other at a distance Transport clips, which are designed to Printed products on their transverse to the conveying direction Fold connecting two parts of the product to keep hanging.

  • the held product part is due to the circular orbit of the holding element bent, so that to open the print products the not held upper part of the product due to its inherent rigidity stands out from the lower curved part of the product.
  • a pen-shaped trained hold-open element travels from below the separated product parts, after which the Holding element releases the product part below.
  • the printed products are Transport clips held at their fold, essentially transported in a vertical hanging position and with its in Direction of conveyance bent forward, opposite the fold End area supported, for example in the direction of conveyance pushed.
  • This conveys the opposite of the fold open edge of the printed products a defined position, stabilizes the printed products and by bending keeps them at a safe distance from each other, so that a Opening element from above which the printed products supporting support element retracted between printed products can be.

  • the opening element from above the support element intervenes between the printed products and itself attaches to this and a holding element from below to the Creating a printed product is to hold the product parts enabled during the entire opening process, what a safe opening at high processing speed guaranteed. Moreover, there are no parts of the opening unit in the area of the opposite of the fold open edge. A hold-open element can thus anywhere between the different ones Intervene in product parts. In addition, there is a large opening stroke achievable because the circulation spell of the holding element and movement path of the opening element independent of each other Can have shape.
  • a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention Device is specified in claim 2. Since that Opening element from the side between the printed products engages, the device can be simple and be designed to save space.
  • the corresponding part of the product around a roller towards the bottom and if necessary bent towards the back. This will make the fold opposite end of the corresponding product part in Directed towards the bottom of the hold-open element, thereby reducing the size of the printed product the bend caused by the support element is stretched.
