Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft Mittel zur Entschwefelung von Eisen, enthaltend Calciumcarbid und eine metallische Komponente, wobei Calciumcarbid und die metallische Komponente in solcher Form vorliegen, daß ihr Schüttgewicht und ihre Korngröße im selben Bereich liegen.
Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des Mittels sowie ein Verfahren zur Entschwefelung von Eisen­ schmelzen unter Verwendung des erfindungsgemäßen Mittels.
