Definitions
- the invention relates to a stone set for producing a form-fitting stone dressing for the surface fastening of carriageways, squares, walkways and the like from a twelve corner stone and an octagonal stone that fits into it.
- a stone set is e.g. B. become known from Fig. 8 of the documents of DE 7901545 U1.
- Concrete blocks made of concrete are manufactured ready for installation in a bandage in manufacturing molds. There are gaps between the edges of a layer of composite stones of the known stone set and the mold walls, which are closed or reduced by half stones for better utilization of the mold.
- the gaps at the edges of the laying units are also disadvantageous for the packaging.
- Packaging tapes are used to firmly pack a stone stack consisting of several laying units. They tilt the stones located on the stone gaps, which leads to a loosening of the entire stack and thus impairs the arrangement of the stones in a manner that is appropriate for the laying.
- the use of half stones is therefore also necessary for the transport of a stack of laying units. They prevent the stones from tilting and keep the packaging tapes under tension.
- half stones often come into contact with neighboring laying units, which is undesirable.
- Half the stones have to be removed by hand and replaced by a whole one for the necessary bond in the stone structure. This work can only after setting down an installation-oriented arrangement on the sand planum and must be carried out with the laying machine before loading.
- the use of an additional assistant is therefore essential.
- the invention has for its object to provide a stone set of the type mentioned with which a purely mechanical installation is possible without the need for half stones, removed by hand and replaced by whole stones ("keystones").
- the forces acting in the plane of the stone surface which are caused, for example, by braking and starting of vehicles, should be able to be distributed undiminished to the neighboring stones.
- This object is achieved in that on the twelve corner stone and on the octagon stone four opposite side sections form two corners facing the middle of the stone. Falling out of individual stones during transport and the associated loosening of the packaging tapes is hardly possible due to the dovetail connections that form the stone corners facing the center of the stone.
- the side sections of the octagon stone are preferably of the same length. In another embodiment, all side sections of the twelve corner stone are of equal length.
- the stone set 1 consists of the twelve corner stone 2 and the octagon stone 3.
- the longitudinal extensions of both stones are perpendicular to each other.
- the side sections 4 to 7 of the twelve corner stone are directed inwardly concave.
- the remaining eight side sections 9 to 16 form the convex parts of the stone.
- the side sections 4 to 7 and 9 to 12 are of the same length, while the side sections 13 to 16 are also of equal length to one another, but are shorter than the rest.
- the octagon stone 3 has only the same length of side sections 17 to 24. Of these, the sides 21 to 24 are concave, ie directed inwards to form two corners facing the center of the stone.
- FIG. 2 illustrates that when a twelve stone 35 is loaded in the direction of arrow 25, the forces are transmitted to five neighboring stones 34, 38, 39, 40, 36 with a corresponding weakening of force.
- the stone 37 is loaded in the direction of the arrow 26, five stones 33, 32, 36, 40, 41 are also included in the force distribution.
- the loading of a twelve corner stone in the direction of arrow 27, ie approximately 45 ° to the direction of arrow 25, still results in a loading of at least three neighboring stones 31, 35, 36.
- the loading of an octagon stone with force components which correspond to arrows 25 to 27 leads to the transmission and distribution of the power to two to three neighboring stones.
- the side sections of the stones that transfer the force to the neighboring stones are highlighted by double lines for better recognition. Due to the perpendicular extension of the two stones 2 and 3 forming a stone set 1, a herringbone bandage with the known advantages automatically results during laying.

Description
- Fig. 1
