Definitions
- the invention relates to a weft store with a rotating winder and a stationary drum mounted on the winder shaft for receiving a thread winder and with an adjusting device for the parts of the drum carrying the thread winder.
- Such weft thread storage devices with an adjusting device are known, for example according to European patent application No. 0 181 985, which allow the diameter of the supporting parts of the drum, which is effective for the thread winding, to be adjusted by hand.
- the weft thread storage device must be deactivated for the adjustment process, since no direct access is possible during the winding or unwinding of thread on the weft thread storage device.
- the thread length to be fed into the weaving machine is to be changed, this can generally only be achieved by repeated adjustment if the weft thread length is to be measured as accurately as possible. This repeated adjustment of the weft thread store with interruptions in operation is very time consuming. When changing the yarn structure or the elasticity over a longer period of time of the weft thread store, it can happen that despite the exact original setting of the weft thread store, the thread length delivered into the weaving machine changes over time.
- the weft thread store contains a controlled actuator for the adjusting device.
- the actuator can advantageously be at least partially mounted in the drum, whereby means for contactless transmission of the drive energy to the actuator can be provided.
- the adjustment device can be adjusted and readjusted without direct access from the outside so that an exact length dimension of the weft thread is also possible over a longer operating time.
- the weft thread 10 to be processed in the weaving machine 30 is drawn off from a yarn bobbin 100 by the weft thread store 1 in that a winder 12 winds the weft thread in a plurality of turns on a stationary drum, whereupon the weft thread 10 is drawn off through the eyelet 34 by means of the blowing nozzle 33 and is entered into the shed formed by the warp threads 31 and 32 of the weaving machine.
- the end of the weft insertion is initiated by actuating the thread clamp 25 when a magnet 20 moves a locking pin 21 against a stop 22 in the drum, thereby preventing the weft thread from running off the drum circumference.
- the number of thread turns deposited on the drum is controlled by sensor 125.
- the sensor 125 is connected to the drive motor 13 for the winder 12, which comes to a standstill when a sufficient number of thread turns have been deposited on the drum circumference.
- the electric motor 13 is connected via the belt drive 14 to the winder shaft 17, which is in the bearing 171 in the housing 15 of the weft store 1 sits.
- the drum 11 is rotatably mounted on the winder shaft 17 by means of the drum axis 118, the pair of magnets 16, on the one hand fastened to the housing 15 and on the other hand to the drum 17, preventing the drum 11 from rotating with the winder shaft 17.
- the weft thread enters the winder shaft 17 of the weft thread store 1 through the funnel 172 according to FIG. 2 and then passes through the winder 12 which is fastened to the winder shaft and is formed from the inlet pieces 121 and 122 and the tube 120 located therebetween.
- a rod 173 is located diametrically opposite the winder as a mass balance to the winder 12.
- the winder shaft 17 is mounted in the bearing 171 in the housing 15 and is driven by a controlled electric motor 13 via the belt drive 140, 141 and 142.
- the drum 11 of the weft thread store is mounted on the winder shaft by means of the radial bearing 18. After the weft thread has been deposited on the conical section 114 of the drum 11, the weft thread turns slide further to the right in FIG.
- the control device 19 is attached to the cap 112 and is essentially formed from a control ring 190, a transmitter 191 and a receiver 192.
- the adjusting device 40 for the drum diameter consists of a spindle 41, which is mounted in the flanges 111 and 114, of a threaded sleeve 42 seated on the spindle 41, tabs 43, which on the one hand on the threaded sleeve 42 and on the other hand on brackets 44 are pivotally mounted, and from a drive, of which only the gear 115 is shown in Fig. 2.
- the drive pinion 116 for the gear 115 is shown.
- the drive is provided by an electric motor 117, which is supplied with current by the accumulator 54 via the control 56.
- the current is generated by a dynamo 50 consisting of a winding 51 and a magnet 52 and fed to the accumulator 54 via the rectifier 55.
- This type of power generation is advantageous since no direct electrical line can be brought to the storage drum due to the design of the weft thread store.
- the brackets 44 connected to it via the tabs 43 are guided in the storage drum 11 in such a way that they can only move radially. This radial movement is brought about by the axial displacement of the threaded sleeve 42. If there is a thread winding 101 on the brackets, the adjusting device 40 may only be actuated slowly and only if new thread 10 is continuously wound onto the drum 11 and simultaneously pulled off the drum, so that the thread winding 101 is not stretched or becomes loose.
- 3b shows how the adjustment device can be controlled without contact by transmitters 58 and 59 outside the storage drum, which the receivers 58 ⁇ and 59 ⁇ face within the drum.
- the control signals can be transmitted from the transmitter to the receiver, for example, as light beams.
- the receivers 58 ⁇ and 59 ⁇ are connected to the controller 56 for the electric motor 57.
- the electric motor 57 is connected directly to the spindle 41 in this embodiment.
- the spindle 41 has a part with a right-hand thread and a second part with a left-hand thread 41 ⁇ .
- a corresponding threaded sleeve 42 or 42 ⁇ is assigned to each part of the spindle.
- FIG. 3c A simplified control diagram of the weft thread store is shown in FIG. 3c.
- the setpoint of the drum diameter is communicated to the thread store by means of the input device 62, which forms part of the control 61 of the weft store 1.
- the input value for the drum diameter is converted into control signals which are transmitted to the transmitters 58 and 59 by means of the transmission lines 68 and from these to the receivers 58 ⁇ and 59 ⁇ .
- the receivers 58 ⁇ and 59 ⁇ are shown here as supported in a bracket 44.
- the transmitters 58 and 59 are seated radially above a bracket of the storage drum 11 in a holder (not shown).
- the part of the storage drum 11 carrying the weft winding 101 does not have to be designed as a cylinder jacket, but can consist of a plurality of brackets arranged on the circumference of the storage drum, via which the weft thread 10 is tensioned, a single weft thread turn of the thread winding 101 forming a polygon on the circumference of the drum.
- the term "drum diameter" is to be understood as a fictitious size. The calculated value of the drum diameter results from the length of the thread in the form of a polygon, which encloses the bow of the storage drum, divided by the number ⁇ . Lines 69 and 69 ⁇ are drawn from switches 58 and 58 , namely.
- Each switch is connected to the controllable electric motor 57 by its own circuit. As from the wiring of dynamo 50, rectifier 55, accumulator 54 and the switch 63 or 63 ⁇ and the electric motor 57 the polarities of the switches on the input side are the same, while on the output side they are interchanged with respect to the connections on the electric motor. When the switches 63 or 63 ⁇ are actuated, the electric motor 57 runs forwards or backwards, which causes a diameter adjustment of the drum bracket 44 in one or the other direction.
- FIG. 3d shows how the weft thread length L to be entered into the weaving machine is automatically set. It is assumed that a certain number of thread turns is drawn off from the storage drum 11 for each weft insertion.
- the thread clamp 25 controls the number of thread windings drawn off according to FIG. 1. By changing the drum diameter or the position of the stirrups 44, the length of a thread turn on the drum circumference and thus also the total length of the drawn off weft thread is changed.
- the thread tip which protrudes from the nozzle 33 before the weft insertion and ends at the scissors 66, reaches the area between the thread sensors 64 and 65 on the side of the weaving machine remote from the insertion nozzle 33.
- the distance between the thread sensors 64 and 65 corresponds to the area in which the thread length is regulated between a minimum length L 1 and a maximum length L 2.
- the controller 61 receives signals from the sensors 64 and 65 via the reception lines 67 and emits signals to the transmission line 68 when the diameter of the storage drum 11 is to be changed.
- the weft thread tip should lie in the area between sensors 64 and 65 after the entry. This is indicated by the fact that the sensor 64 emits a signal to the controller 61 when passing the thread tip and that no signal is generated by the sensor 65. In the absence of one Signals from sensor 64 after a weft insertion, ie if the weft thread tip has not reached this sensor, the thread length entered is too short.
- the effective drum diameter must be increased by the adjusting device 40. If a signal is emitted by sensor 65, this means that too much thread has been supplied by memory 1. In this case, the adjusting device 40 must reduce the effective drum diameter.
- the control 61 of the weft thread store is thus able to automatically set a desired thread length, even if the desired value of the thread length has only been communicated to the input device 62 inaccurately, or if the structure of the weft thread changes during the weaving process and thus also the withdrawn thread length L is affected.
- the battery 54 can also be supplied with power by magnetic induction from the area outside the storage drum.
- the transformer 70 in FIG. 4a is formed by a primary winding 71 ⁇ with an iron core 71 outside the storage drum 11 and a secondary winding 72 ⁇ with an iron core inside the storage drum 11. The weft moves in the area between the iron cores 71 and 72 on the drum circumference.
- a direct current motor 57 can be supplied with direct current of the respectively required polarity by transformers 73 or 70 via rectifiers 55 or 55 ⁇ by means of magnetic induction without the interposition of a rechargeable battery.
- the control for the electric motor 57 is also located outside the storage drum. With this control, either the switch 70 ⁇ or 73 adorweise are closed, whereby an AC circuit in the primary winding 71 ⁇ or 74 ⁇ closed is. This also induces current in the secondary windings 72 ⁇ and 75 ⁇ and, after conversion into direct current, is passed to the electric motor 57.
- bracket 44 of the adjusting device can also be adjusted without an electric motor.
- electromagnets 80 are arranged opposite the brackets 44, the magnetic field of which is assumed to be directed against corresponding magnets in the brackets 44.
- the brackets 44 in turn are supported against the center of the drum by means of springs 82.
- springs 82 When the magnetic field in the magnets 80 changes, the force exerted on the brackets from outside changes, so that the position of the brackets changes until a state of equilibrium is again established between the spring which is now deformed differently and the changed magnetic force.
- the thread tensioned on the brackets 44 or the brackets 110 which are arranged in a stationary manner, takes on a different position, as a result of which the effective diameter of the drum 11 is changed.
- a ring 83 is arranged outside the drum 11 and can be rotated about its center on the drum axis. This rotation can be brought about by an electric servomotor 79.
- a pair of magnets 80 is seated in the ring 83 and can act on a pair of magnets 85 in the storage drum.
- the magnet pair 85 is rotatably connected to the spindle 41 of the adjusting device described above. When adjusting the ring 83 in the circumferential direction, the magnet pair 85 follows the position of the magnet pair 80 in the position 80 ⁇ . By turning the spindle 41, the bracket 44 of the adjusting device is moved.
- a magnet 84 is attached to a spindle, which exerts a force on the magnet 85 ⁇ .
- the magnet 85 ⁇ in turn is held by a spring 82.
- an adjustment of the spindle 84 and the magnet attached to it causes a displacement of the magnet 85 ⁇ , which converts the thrust movement in the toothing 86 into a rotary movement of the spindle 41.
- the brackets 44 are coupled to the spindle 41 in the known manner.
- 6a-6c show other basic possibilities for changing the effective diameter of the drum by means of adjustable brackets.
- the brackets 44 are adjusted radially to the axis of the spindle 41 when the threaded sleeve 42 moves axially on the spindle 41 and the tabs 43 more or less come to an inclined position.
- the drum circumference is formed by the bracket 44, which are connected by the webs 45 and are rotatable overall about the spindle axis 41 ⁇ , and by corresponding bracket 110 on the drum circumference, which are arranged in a fixed position.
- the length of the thread turns which are deposited on the stirrups also changes. 6c can be achieved by devices according to FIGS. 5b or 5c.
- FIG. 6b a further adjustment device is shown in FIG. 6b.
- Sections of a cam plate 90 are attached to the spindle 41, on which arms 94 ⁇ of angle levers 94 rest. On the other arms 94 ⁇ the known bracket 44 are attached.
- Rotation of the spindle 41 changes the position of the cam 90 relative to the respective angle lever arm 94 ⁇ , whereby the angle lever 94 is rotated about the pivot bearing 92.
- This also brings the bracket 44 in a new position 44 ⁇ .
- a coarse adjustment can be selected by moving the pivot bearings 92 of the angle levers 94 within the link 91.
- stationary brackets 110 can again be arranged, the position of which can be changed, for example, from position 110 to position 110 ⁇ as required.
- the weft thread 10 is stretched all around the drum 11 via the stirrups 44 and 110.
- FIG. 7a and 7b show preferred embodiments of the weft thread store in section.
- the electric motor 117, the drive 115, 116, the adjusting spindle 41 and the threaded sleeve 42 mounted thereon are located in a known manner.
- pole shoes 71 are displaceably arranged in the primary windings 71 ⁇ .
- the magnetic flux passes over the iron core 72 and the secondary winding 72 ⁇ inside the drum, whereby current is induced in the winding.
- a rechargeable battery can also be arranged in the drum, which has to be replaced from time to time if the battery is not supplied with power.
- FIG. 7b shows the structural design of the adjustment device, as is indicated schematically in FIG. 3b.
- the spindle 41 has a section 41 ⁇ with opposite thread compared to section 41. On these sections, threaded sleeves 42 and 42 ⁇ run at Rotation of the spindle can be pushed back and forth.
- the threaded sleeves 42 and 42 ⁇ carry a ring 431 or rings 431 ⁇ , to which hinges tabs 43 and 43 ⁇ are fastened.
- the articulated connection for example between the ring 431 and the lug 43, can be achieved in that the hinge 432 is designed as a thin point of a plastic part which comprises the ring 431, the lug 43 and the extension 433.

Abstract
Description

Ringe 431ʹ, an welchen gelenkig Laschen 43 bzw.
