Definitions

  • the invention relates to a plan cutting machine for stacked goods made of sheet material, such as paper, with a work table that has a receiving surface for the stacked goods behind a cutting knife, via which a stacked goods feed device can be moved approximately perpendicular to the cutting knife, and with a hold-down bar that runs approximately parallel to the cutting knife, is arranged near one end of the receiving surface and can be lowered under pressure on the stacked goods.
  • Such face cutting machines are generally known, for example from DE-A 3101 911.
  • the invention has for its object to improve the format accuracy in face cutting machines of the type described above.
  • an air spreading device which can also be lowered under pressure on the stacked goods and in this position can be moved from a location adjacent to the hold-down bar in the direction of the other end of the receiving surface.
  • the air spreading device integrated in the face cutting machine By means of the air spreading device integrated in the face cutting machine, air inclusions between the individual sheets of the stack can be eliminated immediately before the beginning of the cutting processes or even between the individual cutting processes.
  • the stack height is approximately reduced to the extent corresponding to the sum of the sheet thicknesses. Therefore, there is no strong further compression during cutting, with the result that the sheets of the upper stack part are not pulled forward or to a much lesser extent and are moved away from the front surface of the feed device.
  • the result is a compact stack in which the tendency of the sheets to move against one another is drastically reduced.
  • the risk of displacement is also low because the stack only has short transport routes in the machine. Overall, a high degree of format accuracy can be achieved.
  • the hold-down bar is preferably formed by the press bar and the spreading device can be moved from the front to the rear in the lowered position. Then you do not need a separate Niederbaitebaiken, which brings space and cost savings.
  • a pressing force setting device which, in addition to the pressing forces required during cutting, allows a holding-down pressing force of the press beam to be set. In this way, a reduced pressing force can be set, which is adapted to the conditions during spreading.
  • the air spreading device is a spreading roller. This can roll over the stacked goods without exerting frictional forces influencing the stack.
  • the spreading device is held on a bridge which can be moved by means of a motor on rails arranged on both sides of the receiving surface.
  • This bridge can give the streaking device the desired longitudinal movement without otherwise impairing the handling of the stack to be cut.
  • the spreading device can be moved up to a point between the stacked goods and the feed device. In this way it is ensured that the air is spread out to the rearmost edge of the stack.
  • the feed device which normally acts on the rear edge of the stack, should be able to be moved a sufficient distance further back.
  • the spreading device preferably has at least two pressure transmitters distributed over its length, with the aid of which it can be pressed against the stacked goods. This makes it possible to let approximately the same pressure act across the entire width of the spreading device. If spreads of smaller width are to be spread out, only a part of the pressure transmitters need to be supplied with pressure.
  • a cover which can be placed on the stacked goods and onto which the spreading device can be lowered.
  • a cover provides stability in the transverse direction, so that the sheets of the stack cannot move sideways when spreading out. This is particularly advantageous if several narrow block strips are next to each other on the receiving surface and are to be spread out together.
  • Such a cover expediently has air passage openings. So that the cover and stack enclosed between air can escape and there is no danger that the top sheet of the stack will be taken away by suction when the cover is lifted off.
  • the cover is formed by a cover band extending over the width of the receiving surface, the end of which facing the hold-down bar can be lowered and raised again by a servomotor and the other end of which is connected to a tensioning device which holds the cover band tensioned.
  • a masking tape is constantly in a ready position, in which it does not interfere with the feed and cutting operation, but can be brought into the working position required for spreading in a simple manner.
  • a winding roller pretensioned in the direction of rotation is recommended as the tensioning device. This takes up little space.
  • the winding roller can be mounted near the spreading device and can be moved together with the latter along the receiving surface.
  • the spreading device is in its rest position near the hold-down bar, the receiving surface is freely accessible.
  • the end of the cover tape facing the hold-down device is fastened to a height-adjustable cross-member arranged between the hold-down device and the spreading device. This traverse quickly brings the masking tape into the working position.
  • a driver which can be moved parallel to the cutting knife and is able to push the spread stacked goods against a side stop of the receiving surface is attached to the feed device. This takes into account the fact that the air is expediently stripped out when the stack is not yet against the side stop. After streaking, the driver can then guide the stack at the rear end against the side stop. At the front end, this can be done manually without difficulty.
  • the driver can be pivoted about an axis in such a way that it can be shifted from an effective position in front of the feed device into an ineffective position which avoids a collision with the press beam.
  • the driver therefore does not hinder the advancement of the feed device right up to the press beam.
  • the driver is carried by a block which is adjustable by means of a threaded spindle running parallel to the cutting knife, and is rotatably but axially displaceably mounted on a shaft which is parallel thereto and which can be rotated by a predetermined swivel angle. This results in a simple construction to move and pivot the driver.
  • the driver is preferably connected to the block via a pneumatic cylinder.
  • the driver is held resiliently, which prevents overstressing.
  • the actual alignment of the stack can be done by actuating the pneumatic cylinder.
  • the face cutting machine illustrated in the figures has a cutting knife 2 in a housing 1, which is only indicated, and a press beam 3 behind it.
  • a work table 4 which has a receiving surface 5 for stacked goods 6 behind the cutting knife 2 and the press beam 3.
  • a feed device 7 can be moved from the rear to the front, approximately perpendicular to the cutting knife 2, and back in the direction of the double arrow a in order to feed the stacked goods 6 to the cutting area.
  • the stack deforms in such a way that its rear edge 8 has the dashed course and is no longer in contact with the end face of the feed device 7 over the entire height could come.
  • the entire stack is compressed and the trailing edge 8 is aligned vertically by the air streak described below.
  • An air spreading device 9 in the form of a spreading roller is located above the receiving surface.
  • the bearing arrangement 10 is loaded by two pneumatic pressure transmitters 11, which have pistons and cylinders, the cylinders of which are mounted next to one another on the cross member 12 of a bridge 13, and are guided by means of rods 14 in bushings 15 on the cross member 12.
  • the spreading device 9 can be moved up and down in the direction of the arrow b.
  • the bridge 13 can be moved back and forth in the direction of arrow c with the aid of a servomotor 16 on longitudinal guides 17 and 18.
  • the servomotor 16 is arranged on one side. Its driver engages a toothed chain 19 or the like. on, which is guided over pulleys 20 and 21 on the work table 5 and connected to a foot of the bridge 13.
  • the other foot of the bridge is connected to a second toothed chain 22, which is guided over deflection rollers, which are connected to the deflection rollers 20 and 21 via axles 24 and 25 in a rotationally fixed manner.
  • the other end is held on a tensioning device 30 in the form of a pre-tensioned winding roller, which is mounted behind the spreading device 9 on the bridge 13.
  • the press beam 3 is reduced with a pressing force which is reduced compared to the pressing force used during cutting and is sufficient for holding down and which is specified with the aid of a pressing force adjusting device 31 (as shown in FIG Fig. 2 is indicated), lowered onto the stack 6.
  • the traverse 28 is moved with the end of the cover tape 27 from the illustrated ready position until it rests on the stack 6.
  • the spreading device 9 is then moved downward from the illustrated ready position and held against the cover tape 27 and the stack 6 with a predetermined pressure. With the help of the servomotor 16, the spreading device 9 is finally moved backwards, with air from the stack 6 is crossed out.
  • the feed device 7 has been moved backwards in good time beforehand, so that the streaking device 9 can be moved beyond the rear edge 8 of the stack 6.
  • This free space is usually available in face-cutting machines after the feed device 7 has pushed the stack 6 up to below the press beam.
  • the spreading device 9 is then raised again and returned to the ready position in the lifted state.
  • the cross member 28 and the press beam 3 are moved back to their ready position.
  • a driver 32 is attached to the feed device 7, which can be pivoted about an axis 33 from the effective position shown in FIG. 1 into the ineffective position illustrated in FIG has been introduced, did not collide with it.
  • the task of the driver 32 is to push the rear part of a stack 6 against a side stop 34 after air has been smeared out. The front end of the stack 6 can be pushed against this side stop 34 by hand.
  • the driver 32 is connected via a pneumatic cylinder 35 to a block 36 which is adjustable parallel to the cutting knife 2 by means of a threaded rod 37 which can be rotated by a motor 38. In this way, the driver 32 is movable in the direction of arrow e.
  • the swivel axis 33 is formed by a multi-tooth shaft which can be swiveled by 90 ° with the aid of a pneumatic cylinder 39 with the interposition of a swivel arm 40.
  • the movement sequences described can be controlled by an appropriate program so that they run automatically. If you mainly work with large stacks, you can also work with a cover sheet that is only put on if occasionally smaller stacks or block strips are to be spread out. The spreading can also take place from the back to the back if an additional hold-down bar is provided at the rear end of the receiving surface.
  • the servomotors can have the shape customary in face-cutting machines and can be operated in particular pneumatically, hydraulically or electrically.
