In weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist dafür gesorgt, daß an der Vorschubvorrichtung ein parallel zum Schneidmesser bewegbarer Mitnehmer angebracht ist, der das ausgestrichene Stapelgut gegen einen Seitenanschlag der Aufnahmefläche zu schieben vermag. Hiermit wird der Tatsache Rechnung getragen, daß das Ausstreichen der Luft zweckmäßigerweise erfolgt, wenn der Stapel noch nicht am Seitenanschlag anliegt. Der Mitnehmer kann dann nach dem Ausstreichen den Stapel am hinteren Ende gegen den Seitenanschlag führen. Mit Hilfe des Stellmotors 16 wird schließlich die Ausstreichvorrichtung 9 nach hinten bewegt, wobei Luft aus dem Stapel 6 ausgestrichen wird. Die Vorschubvorrichtung 7 ist rechtzeitig vorher nach hinten bewegt worden, so daß die Ausstreichvorrichtung 9 bis über die Hinterkante 8 des Stapels 6 bewegt werden kann.
