- the ring parts 2, 3 have flat end faces 4, 5 at their free ends, which lie flush against one another in the closed position of the ring parts 2, 3.
- the ring part 2 has at its end a bore 6, at least in its main part, which is countersunk vertically into the end face 4, and the ring part 3 is provided at its end with a pin 7, which at least in its main part is cylindrical and projects vertically from the end face 5.
- the pin 7 is provided at its front end with an all-round chamfer 8 of approximately 45 to 60 °.
- the cylindrical bore 6 advantageously opens into the surrounding end face 4 with a circumferential chamfer 9 of approximately 45 °.
- This chamfer 9 in turn favors the penetration of the pin 7 into the bore 6 during shooting movements of the ring parts 2, 3, but has the particular task of interacting with a circumferential, conical extension 10 with which the pin 7 merges into the end face 5 of its ring part 3 .
- the cone angle of the extension is also approximately 45 °, so that chamfer 9 and extension 10 are in positive engagement in the closed position. This avoids displacement possibilities transversely to the plane of the rings formed by the ring parts 2, 3, which could occur due to the clearance play.
- ring parts 2, 3 can have a slight movement in the opening direction due to the wedge effect between the areas 9, 10, it is ensured in any case that the cylindrical areas of pin 7 and bore 6 remain in mutual engagement and prevent further displacements.
