Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mixing device according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a mixing device of the type required in the preamble of claim 1 is known from DE-C 2110047.
  • the drive motor of the agitator is attached to the second container part, the agitator shaft being in a vertical position in the mixing position.
  • DE-C 960 269 also discloses a mixing device with a mixing trough which can be tilted about a horizontal axis and with a mixing tool mounted therein.
  • the mixing trough or mixing container is emptied by tilting about the horizontal axis mentioned.
  • the roughly barrel-shaped mixing tool consists of an axis, two flanges and wire brackets.
  • the invention has for its object to further develop a mixing device of the type known in the preamble of claim 1 that, with improved mixing action and structurally simplified design in the non-connected state of the two mixing container parts, an unimpeded horizontal displacement of the first container part relative to the second container part is ensured.
  • the relieved second container parts as well as the swivel mounting of this second container part on the fixed holder as well as the swivel drive can be made much lighter, and the horizontal arrangement of the agitator shaft provided leads to a substantial intensification and improvement the mixing effect and thus to shorten the necessary mixing times in comparison to the version according to DE-C 2110 047.
  • Characteristic feature e) means that the first container part only has to be lowered relatively little compared to the second container part in the non-connected state in order to reliably ensure that the mixing tools can be automatically pivoted into the second container part, for example when the two container parts are separated. At the same time, a too great overall height of the mixing device is avoided.
  • the mixing device schematically illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 contains a mixing container which consists of two bowl-shaped container parts 1 and 2.
  • the first container part 1 provided with a bottom outlet 3 is designed to be transportable and can be moved, for example, by means of a carriage 4.
  • the second container part 2 is mounted on a stationary holder 5 so as to be pivotable about a horizontal axis 6.
  • the second container part 2 is carried by a hollow shaft 7, which is mounted in bearings 8 in the holder 5 and is connected to a rotary drive (motor 9), which is only indicated schematically.
  • an agitator Arranged in the second container part 2 is an agitator which, in the exemplary embodiment shown, consists of three groups 10, 11, 12 each of four mixing tools distributed uniformly on the circumference. 2, the mixing tools of groups 10 and 12 are designated by 13, 14, 15 and 16 and the mixing tools of group 11 by 17, 18, 19 and 20, for example.
  • the mixing tools 13 to 20 have triangular mixing blades (e.g. 21) at their ends, which are arranged such that the tip of the triangular mixing blades points in the direction of rotation (arrow 22) during the mixing process.
  • the hubs 23, 24 and 25 of the three groups 10, 11, 12 of mixing tools sit on an agitator shaft 26 which is guided through the hollow shaft 7 and is connected via a chain drive 27 to a stationary drive motor 28.
  • the agitator shaft 26 is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the hub 24 of the middle group 11 of mixing tools via a feather key 29.
  • the hubs 23 and 25 of the two outer groups 10 and 12 of the mixing tools are arranged on the agitator shaft 26 in a freely rotatable manner.
  • These two hubs 23, 25 have two annular grooves 30, 31 of limited circumferential length, in each of which a driver pin 32 or 33 engages, which is fixedly connected to the central hub 24.
  • the mixing tools protrude beyond the open edge 2a of the second container part 2.
  • the first container part 1 In order therefore to the first container part 1 after completion of a mixing process detaching from the second container part 2 and being able to remove it in the horizontal direction, it would in principle be necessary to lower the first container 1 to such an extent that its upper edge 1a lies below the lower edge of all the mixing tools.
  • the mixing tools can be automatically pivoted into the container part 2 when the container parts 1 and 2 are separated.
  • the limited rotational mobility of the hubs 23 and 25 with respect to the agitator shaft 26, explained with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4, serves this purpose. It may be assumed, for example, that after the end of a mixing process, the container part 1 in the one shown in FIG the container part 2 is in the lowered position. In this position, the mixing tools of the middle group 11 are located just above the upper edge 1a of the container part 1. The mixing tools of the two outer groups 10 and 12, on the other hand, protrude somewhat into the container part 1. If the container part 1 is now displaced perpendicular to the drawing plane of FIG. 1 with respect to the container part 2 by means of the carriage 4, the edge 1 a of the container part 1 abuts the mixing tools of the two outer groups 10 and 12.
  • the mixing tools of groups 10 and 12 are rotated with their hubs 23, 25 against the drive direction relative to the agitator shaft 26, which is made possible by the engagement of the driving pins 32, 33 in the annular grooves 30, 31 .
  • the mixing tools of the outer groups 10 and 12 are pivoted so far that the container part 1 is released from the container part 2.
  • Another container part 1 (with a new batch of mixed material) can then be pushed freely under the container part 2.
  • the container part 1 is then raised slightly by means of a lifting device 34 and connected to the container part 2 via tensioning devices (not shown).
  • the motor 9 then swivels the mixing container consisting of the container parts 1 and 2 through 180 ° into the mixing position in which the mixing process is carried out by the agitator driven by the motor 28.
  • the driver pins 32, 33 in the ring grooves 30, 31 of the hubs 23, 25 first carry out an empty movement (over the circumferential length of the ring grooves mentioned) until the hubs 23, 25 and thus the two outer groups 10, Take 12 of the mixing tools with you.
  • the mixing container is returned to the position shown in FIG. 2, whereupon the removal and removal of the container part 1 proceeds in the manner described.
  • the mixing container consisting of the container parts 1 and 2 has a rectangular cross-sectional shape.
  • the second container part 2 is then given a vertical section (according to FIG. 1), not a rectangular shape, but a circular arc.
  • the length of the mixing tools is then adjusted accordingly, however, at least in the area of the middle, longest mixing tools, limited freedom of rotation of these mixing tools with respect to the agitator shaft is advantageous in order to automatically rotate these long mixing tools when separating the two container parts in such a way that they are no longer in reach into the transportable first container part 1 when it is pulled away in a horizontal direction under the second container part 2.
