- the stack of goods 12 is lowered again onto the roller conveyor 13 while the edge of the shrink film is still heated, whereby the hot edge between the rollers of the roller conveyor 13 and the underside of the pallet 14 is pressed together with the effect that the individual layers of this edge are welded together. This gives the lower edge of the shrink film an extremely good hold.
- the vertical movement of the ring burner 3 also begins to move upwards.
- the shrink film contracts strongly over the side surfaces.
- the ring burner 3 is stopped in order to cause shrinkage on the top of the stack of goods 12.
- the stack of goods 12 can then be moved out of the shrinking station 1 via the roller conveyor path 13. The procedure described above is then repeated for a new stack of goods.
