Definitions

  • the invention relates to a gate for blocking a passage, which essentially consists of at least one support and a part which can be moved with respect to this support and which is formed by a structure of upright rods which are connected to one another by a support, the support having a series of through openings , in each of which a rod can be received, and each rod is provided with connecting means for fastening to the carrier.
  • Gates of the type mentioned are generally formed in the form of a rectangular frame in which the bars are housed. Such frames must be sufficiently rigid to prevent deformation in the vertical plane. This therefore requires a relatively heavy construction with a large material mass. Another disadvantage is that such a gate has to be completely manufactured in the factory and then brought to the point of use, which entails drinking problems in connection with handling and the required transport space.
  • a gate consisting of a horizontally extending support with rods screwed thereon by means of nuts.
  • the door is foldable around a horizontal axis line and the support has been supported many times.
  • the invention aims to remedy the aforementioned disadvantages and creates a comparatively light but rigid gate, which differs in that at least one post is provided and at least one elongated element under tension between each anchoring element is arranged and fastened in this way on both ends of the beam is that deflection of the beam in the vertical direction is prevented downwards.
  • the construction is now limited to almost a horizontal self-support and vertical bars, so that the door can be transported in the unassembled state and the final assembly is carried out at the point of use.
  • the final assembly can be carried out relatively easily by means of the clamping element, whereby welding work can be dispensed with.
  • the components can be separately protected in the factory against corrosion caused by weather conditions without this protection being damaged during final assembly.
  • tensioning elements are known from DE-A-3.009.392 (see, for example, FIG. 7, reference number 16), these tensioning elements are not used for stiffening in the vertical plane of the horizontal beam, which is part of a heavy, rectangular frame that can be moved on rollers, but instead serve as a protection against horizontal ramming forces.
  • each rod has a transverse hole at approximately the same height, and an elongated tensioning element is passed through all the rods as a connecting means.
  • the carrier is preferably designed in the form of a box profile, the tensioning element being accommodated in the profile. In addition to increasing the aesthetic appearance, this provides good protection for the tensioning element.
  • the anchoring element can be pulled against an end face of the carrier, which anchoring element carries a joint part for the joint to be fastened to the post.
  • a revolving gate can be obtained which differs from the known revolving gate in that a vertical load on the carrier now results in the carrier being pressed down, the prestressing element absorbing the forces and bringing the carrier back up when the load is fixed. This results in a very «flexible door construction, whereby the joint remains unloaded.
  • Another embodiment is with a running rail for guiding a guide member attached to at least one post, e.g. a role, a sliding piece or the like. Provided.
  • the carrier can also have an open profile, in which tooth path parts can be received in such a way that the teeth protrude from the profile. This measure allows the length of the tooth path used to move the sliding gate back and forth to be conveniently adapted to the length of the carrier.
  • the swing gate is in essentially of a horizontal beam 1 with a row of through holes provided in the longitudinal direction of the beam, each of which can receive a rod 2 in the vertical sense.
  • the carrier is attached at one end to a joint 3 which is supported by a post 4 to the side of the passage.
  • a latticework 5 can be connected to the post 4 in a known manner.
  • the horizontal support 1 is a box profile (see FIG. 2) which has the row of holes in the upper and lower surface for receiving the bars 2.
  • a fastening element in the form of a tension wire or tension rod 6 is accommodated in the box profile 1 and is guided through transverse holes 7 of each rod 2.
  • the end of the tension rod 6 is provided with a head part 7 ′ fixedly attached to it, which fits into an anchoring member in the form of a seat post 8.
  • the support 8 is fastened to an end plate 9 with a circumferential back 10 which can be pushed in the box profile 1 in a suitable manner, the end face of the box profile 1 abutting a projecting edge part 11.
  • the plate 9 with the circumferential ring 10 and the edge part 11 is attached to an articulated wing 12.
  • the other end of the tensioning element or tensioning rod 6 is provided with tensioning means 13 which are supported on an end part 14 which fits with the shaft 15 into the interior of the box profile 1 and rests with the collar 16 on the end face of the box profile.
  • the shaft part 15 is recessed in such a way that the clamping means 13 fit completely into the end part 14.
  • the opening of the shaft part 1.5 can be closed with a decker 17.
  • the carrier 1 is first provided with rods 2 by guiding them through the row of holes in the carrier.
  • the rods 2 are attached in the carrier 1 in such a way that the through holes 7 run almost flush, the tensioning element 6 being able to be guided through the holes 7.
  • An end which may already be provided with the end part 7 ', is then placed in the seat post 8 of the end part 9, whereupon the edge 10 is pushed into the carrier 1.
  • the other end of the element 6 is passed through the relevant hole of the end part 14, whereupon the rod by any clamping means, e.g. the nut 13 shown can be tightened on the threaded end of the rod 6.
  • a lock nut can be attached.
  • the carrier 1 with the tightened articulated wing 12 can be hung on the interacting articulated parts of the articulation 3 of the post 4.
  • the cover 17 blocks the opening of the end part 14.
  • the tensioning element 6 When the load is removed, the tensioning element 6 will pull the carrier back up, as a result of which the grid returns to its original position. This not only results in a door that is easy to assemble, but also a “flexible door that does not deform the joint when subjected to excessive load and takes on its original shape after the load has been removed. It will also be clear that the arrangement of the bars 2 with respect to the support 1 is determined precisely by the location of the transverse holes 7 and the tensioning element 6, as a result of which the bars remain at the correct height.
  • the upper end of the rods can still be connected by any tension rod or tension wire 18.
  • the lower support preferably lies almost at the average height of the bumper of vehicles, so that the forces exerted on the gate are absorbed by the support 1 when they hit.
  • 4 to 6 show another embodiment, namely a so-called sliding gate.
  • This sliding gate also has a horizontal support 21 which has a number of through holes. in each of which a rod 22 can be added.
  • Prefabricated lattice frames 22 'and 22 can be attached anywhere between the bars 22.
  • the bars 22 are assembled and attached in the same manner as described above.
  • Each bar has a transverse hole 23 through which a tensioning element 24 can be guided
  • the clamping element 24 is fastened to head elements 25 on both sides, as described above, and can be preloaded in the same way.
  • tensioning element 24 is not installed in the upper part of the support 21 but in the lower part thereof, the support also being provided with a guide back 26 in which additional tensioning elements 27 are mounted.
  • These clamping elements 27 are fastened to the head parts 25 in the same way as the clamping element 24.
  • the latter clamping elements 27 contribute to the rigidity of the carrier 21, which is particularly important in the case of large clamping distances of, for example, 25 m.
  • the profile 21 according to FIG. 5 is provided on one side with guide means 28, which consist of upper and lower ribs with a curved inner surface, into which a roller 29 can be received.
  • the role is 29 rotatable about the axis AA of an axle stub 30, which is provided with a flange 31 for attachment to the post 32 or 33.
  • the posts 32 and 33 are a certain distance apart and it will be appreciated that when the gate is moved, the profile 31 can be rolled back and forth along the posts 32 and 33, since the rollers 29 can roll in the guide profile 28.
  • the back and forth movement of the gate can be carried out by means of a toothed rack and pinion system 34, the pinion 35 being driven by a motor 46 attached to the post 32.
  • the number 37 of the tooth transmission 34 is formed by elements 37 'of constant length. These elements with the bottom open profile 38 pushed, this profile 38 is filled over the entire length. The unnecessary part of the tooth path element 37 'can be sawn off, so that the desired length is simply obtained.
  • This toothed path ratio 34 also ensures simple assembly, since only the outer toothed path elements 37 'need to be fixed in the profile 38. This fixing can be done in any way, e.g. by welding. It is preferred to lock these elements 37 'between the head elements 25.
  • backs 29 can be attached, between which signs or other parts such as handles can be attached.
  • FIGS. 7 and 8 show a lock element, which is shown in FIGS. 7 and 8.
  • the individual parts of the gate are identified by the same reference numbers.
  • the embodiment according to FIG. 7 shows that it is a double gate, the gate parts being able to rotate about one post each.
  • Each gate part again consists of a hollow support 1 with vertically attached bars 2 which can be fastened in the support 1 by means of the tensioning element 6.
  • This tensioning element 6 is connected on the side (not shown) to an anchoring element which is attached to the hinge side of the door part, while the other end of the tensioning element 6 is anchored to a bracket 41 of a lock element 42 or 42 '.
  • the two lock elements are complementary, i.e. one element has a recess 43 and the other has a tongue 44 fitting therein.
  • the lock element 42 of the right door part in FIG. 7 is also provided with a guide part 45 which fits into the carrier 1 and into which a circular guide 46 for the outermost rod 2 'is received.
  • This rod 2 ' is not fastened by means of the tensioning element 6, but can be moved up and down in the guide 56.
  • the rod 2 ' has a recess for receiving the bolt 47 of a locking mechanism 48.
  • the bolt has a length such that it can be guided far enough to the guide 46.
  • the locking mechanism 48 has a cylinder lock 49 which is accessible from the outside.
  • the rod 2 ' also has a downward pin 50 (see Fig. 7) which, in the lowest position of the rod 2', snaps into a hole 51 of the lock element 42 and a hole 52 of the tongue 44 of the lock element 42 '.
  • the gate parts can be locked against one another in a simple manner by directing the gate parts in such a way that the tongue 44 engages in the recess 43, whereupon the rod 2 ′ moves downwards, so that the pin 50 in the aligned holes 51 and 52 is guided, the locking being obtained after attaching the bolt 47 and closing the cylinder lock 49.
  • the end bar of the other door part on the left in FIG. 7 can also be mounted vertically displaceably in the support 1, both bars 2 'and 2 "being placed on the floor in the closed or open position or in a cavity in the floor can be made, so that a lock can be made with respect to the ground.
  • the invention is not limited to the embodiments described above.
  • the shape of the rods 22 can be chosen arbitrarily, e.g. they can be curved inwards and / or outwards on the upper side.
  • the bars can be tip-shaped, while adjacent bars can be attached to one another by bending.
  • the through hole in the carrier 21 need not be completely vertical, it can be directed obliquely so that the rods 22 assume an oblique position both in the plane perpendicular to the carrier 21 and in the longitudinal direction of the carrier.
  • the outer rods 22 can be provided with running wheels or runners on the underside.
  • the carrier 21 need not be designed as a box profile, it can have any cross profile and can even be solid.
