Definitions

  • the invention relates to an artificial fertilizer that stimulates the absorption of phosphorus and potassium ions.
  • Artificial fertilization is of crucial importance for the growth of plants and the amount of crop yield. If you analyze a plant, you can see that it contains the same elements as the soil in which it grows. Some elements are essential to the existence, the role of others is minor or controversial. N, P, K, Mg, Fe, S, or even the micro elements B, Cu, Mn, etc. are vital in which part of the plant the elements occur (in the stem or in the seed). For the plants to develop harmoniously, it is important that the vital elements are contained in the soil.
  • the degree to which these elements are accessible to the plant depends on the type of soil, the water, the temperature, the pH, and also on the humus, the microorganisms in the soil, the quality of the soil colloids, the clay minerals, the Ion exchange, the type of chemical bonds (ionic bond or covalent bond) and the water: air ratio in the soil layer.
  • the missing phosphorus must be added to the soil. However, not only the missing amount is necessary, but five to ten times the amount. This upper dosage is necessary because about 50-70% of the amount of phosphorus brought into the soil is in an unsuitable state for absorption by the plant.
  • the phosphorus ions can be bound in the soil in different ways: the iron and aluminum hydroxides and hydrates in the soil, the clay minerals and the potassium ions bind the phosphorus ions through chemosorption. As a result, the soil content of phosphorus, or at least absorbable phosphorus, is very low. This is because the phosphorus within a short
  • the aim of the invention was to provide a fertilizer additive which enables better utilization of the phosphorus added to the soil.
  • a substance would be considered as an additive which, instead of the phosphorus, is bound to the clay minerals and the hydroxides and oxide hydrates.
  • the subject of the invention is therefore once a phosphorus-containing artificial fertilizer. It is characteristic of the artificial fertilizer according to the invention that, in addition to the usual phosphorus fertilizer components, such as superphosphate, it contains silicon-containing substances in an amount of 2-10% by weight, this information relating to the content expressed as SiO 2 . It is preferred to add silica to the synthetic fertilizer according to the invention as a silicon-containing compound.
  • a suitable silica for example, has the following composition:
  • Silica is not only suitable for its silicon content, but also contains numerous important trace elements that are necessary for the plants. These trace elements must be added to the soil with special fertilizers or leaf fertilizers.
  • the phosphorus fertilizer according to the invention therefore has a double effect:
  • the silicon-containing additive for example silica, also contains other macro and micro elements, which result in a harvest yield of about 5%. If as much of the fertilizer according to the invention is used as usually of phosphorus fertilizer, the additional harvest yield is 10-15%. Since an improvement in the potassium uptake was also found in plants fertilized with potassium, the invention further relates to a potassium-containing artificial fertilizer which, in addition to the usual potassium components, contains 2-10% by weight of silicon-containing compounds, preferably silica, expressed as SiO 2 .
  • the invention relates to the use of silicon-containing substances, in particular silica, as an admixture with phosphorus and potassium artificial fertilizers and as a stimulator for the absorption of phosphorus and / or potassium ions.
  • the invention further relates to a method for producing the artificial fertilizers according to the invention. It is characteristic of the process according to the invention that silicon-containing substances, expressed as SiO 2 in an amount of 2-10% by weight, are added to potassium or phosphorus synthetic fertilizers during or after their production and the mixture obtained is granulated if desired.
  • silicon-containing substances expressed as SiO 2 in an amount of 2-10% by weight
  • the production takes place by first producing the superphosphate and then inventing it appropriately used additive is added and granulated.
  • the superphosphate is produced by digestion with sulfuric acid. The digestion takes place in two stages: Ca 5 (PO 4 ) 3 F + 5H 2 SO 4 3 H 3 PO 4 + 5CaSO 4 + HF
  • the phosphoric acid formed reacts with further raw phosphate:
  • the first reaction takes place within 30 minutes, the second requires reaction times of 6-30 days. This phase is called post-digestion.
  • Superphosphate subjected to post-digestion for at least 14 days is mixed with 2.5-5% of silica of the composition already indicated, and the mixture obtained is granulated.
  • the artificial fertilizer according to the invention can also be produced immediately before application by mixing the components.
  • Triple P containing 45% phosphorus, expressed as P 2 O 5 has the following composition after adding 3% silica of the composition mentioned:
  • micro and macro elements contained in the silica increase the yield by around 5%.
