Definitions
- the present invention relates to an embankment element according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the object of the invention is to provide an embankment element of the type mentioned above with an enlarged plantable area.
- the embankment element which is widened like a funnel at the front, together with the cheeks, results in a larger plantable area on the embankment compared to the known elements, since plants can themselves be accommodated in the embankment element due to the enlarged earth surface. In addition, filling the embankment element with soil is made easier.
- the planting area is enlarged in the manner of a funnel or trough while the base area of the embankment element remains the same.
- the slope elements can be laid in a straight line or in the form of a curved or kinked line. In the latter case, corner elements with an acute angle are advantageously used.
- embankment elements By arranging the embankment elements offset and spaced from one another, their number can be greatly reduced and a firm anchoring in the surrounding soil can be achieved. Planting areas in the embankment element alternate with those of the soil, which together form the uniform image of an embankment.
- the upper edges of all element walls preferably run at the same height, as a result of which the embankment elements can be supported directly on the embankment elements below, without using support brackets.
- the outside of the front wall runs vertically in the lower part, while in the upper part it has a bead-like thickening which extends over the entire width of the element.
- the upper surface of the thickening preferably merges in the region of the side walls directly into the visible surfaces of the cheeks which act as stops.
- the slope element shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 essentially has a front wall 1, a rear wall 2 and two side walls 3 and 4, respectively.
- cheeks 7 and 8 acting as stops, which serve as thrust cams for overlying elements when building embankments. These stops serve as lateral boundaries for the filled soil.
- the element has an upper opening 5 and a lower opening 6.
- a main feature of the element can be seen in that the front wall 1 is inclined from above.
- the upper opening 5 is thus enlarged in terms of area compared to the lower one, which has a particularly advantageous effect when filling the elements with soil, during greening, irrigation, etc.
- the front wall has a thickening 9 which is trapezoidal in cross section at the upper end.
- the stops 7, 8 act as guides when the elements are stacked on one another (see, for example, FIG. 3, which shows a vertical section through an embankment made of elements according to the invention).
- FIGS. 4 and 5 show that the individual embankment elements 11 can be offset differently from one another, which can lead to side closures 12 which are inclined inwards (FIG. 4) and outwards (FIG. 5).
- the closure 12 is formed by a closure plate 14 which essentially corresponds to a side wall 3 of the slope element 11 with a cheek 7.
- the end plate is formed on the side facing the earth-filled space 11 such that there is a positive connection between the earth and the end plate 14.
- FIGS. 8 and 9 show that by using a corner element 15, 16 with an acute angle ⁇ , the slope elements 11 according to the invention can also be easily installed along kinked lines.
- Such corner elements 15, 16 can be four or polygonal, the front or rear wall 1, 2 of the corner element 15, 16 being shorter, depending on the soft side of the kink to be planted.
- the embankment element can also have other regular or irregular polygonal shapes in addition to the quadrangular and pentagonal shown, wherein one or more of its walls can consist of angled wall sections.
- Embankments made from elements according to the invention allow optimal plantability, since each element is open on the one hand and the root system can develop unhindered, and on the other hand, thanks to the particularly conveniently arranged upper opening, filling with soil in the simplest way. An optimal bond with the mother earth is created.
- the optimal moistening of the soil is also guaranteed in a natural way due to the slope slope.
- the arrangements constructed from the slope elements according to the invention have an excellent sound-absorbing effect owing to the small proportion of concrete surfaces compared to the planting areas.
Description
- Figur 1 eine schaubildliche Darstellung eines erfindungsgemässen Böschungselementes ;
- Figur 2 einen Schnitt durch das Böschungselement nach Fig. 1 ;
- Figur 3 einen Schnitt durch eine mit erfindungsgemässen Böschungselementen aufgebaute Böschung ;
- Figuren 4 und 5 geradlinige Anordnungen der erfindungsgemässen Böschungselemente gemäss Fig. 1 ;
