Claims (6)

1. Vorrichtung zum Strecken einer Faserlunte (1) während eines Spinnvorganges, durch den die Faserlunte in Garn verwandelt wird, mit einem hinter dem eigentlichen Streckwerk (2) angeordneten Verdichtungselement, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Verdichtungselement (6) eine bewegliche Führungsfläche aufweist, der die Fasern tangential zugeführt werden und die einerseits bestrebt ist, eine Zugkraft auf die Enden der Fasern auszuüben, und andererseits den Bereich begrenzt, über den die der Lunte von der Spinnvorrichtung erteilte Drehung zurückreicht, welche Führungsfläche als drehbare Führung ausgebildet und mit an eine Saugvorrichtung angeschlossenen Löchern (15) versehen ist.
2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die drehbare Führung an ihrem Umfang eine offene Nut (7) mit im wesentlichen V-förmigem Querschnitt aufweist und die an eine Saugvorrichtung angeschlossenen Löcher (15) am Grund dieser Nut angeordnet sind.
3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Saugwirkung in einer Zone unterdrückt ist, die unmittelbar an den Punkt angrenzt, in dem die Verdichtung der Lunte vollendet ist.
4. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Löcher (15) längs einer Sinuslinie angeordnet sind.
5. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die drehbare Verdichtungs-Führung (6) am Ausgang des Streckwerkes (2) derart angeordnet ist, daß der Übergangsstelle auf dem Verdichter zur Spinnvorrichtung (8) auf dem Verdichter (6) einen zwischen 30° und 90° betragenden Winkel bildet.
6. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abstand zwischen dem Ausgang des Streckwerkes (2) und der Stelle, an der die Fasern auf die Oberfläche der beweglichen Führung (6) übergehen, in Abhängigkeit von der Länge der behandelten Fasern einstellbar ist.
