Definitions

  • the invention relates to an air bubble mat with differently sized and separately operable air outlet openings for different bubble treatments with at least one air chamber having a mat body.
  • Air bubble mats for coarse and fine bubbles are known, the mat body of which consists of a box-shaped body with an interior divided into a number of chambers.
  • problems can arise in the manufacture of the box-shaped body in that at least the chambers which can be separately charged with air for the coarse bubbling on the one hand and the fine bubbling on the other hand must be sealed against one another in a pressure-tight manner, because otherwise no separate loading or metering of the corresponding air chamber for the the associated bubbling treatment is possible.
  • the partition walls separating the individual air chambers of such a mat body often form an extensive labyrinth that can only be made pressure-tight with great effort.
  • the mat body is e.g. From DE-A-24 60 892 it is known to design the mat body as a mere support for pipelines having air outlet bores, the individual pipelines having either larger or smaller air outlet bores. Instead, the mat body itself can also have channel-shaped, longitudinal cavities which have the same function as the pipes and are provided with corresponding air outlet openings. In the latter case, the manufacture of the mat body is very complex. In both cases, the applicability and the effervescence effect are limited.
  • the invention has for its object to provide an air bubble mat for coarse and fine bubbling, which is easier and thus less expensive to manufacture, avoiding sealing problems of known mats, but is nevertheless versatile.
  • the object is achieved in that the air outlet openings of the air chambers are provided for at least one type of treatment and the air bubble mat also has pipelines whose air outlet openings are provided for at least one further type of treatment.
  • the air bubble mat can be used in a variety of ways without it being complicated to manufacture.
  • the mat body In addition to its support function for the pipelines, the mat body itself has a bubbling function at the same time without any significant additional effort, the two air-carrying systems being separate from one another.
  • the invention has the advantages over the known that an air bubble mat for coarse and fine bubbling can be produced in a relatively simple manner, and the test for pressure tightness after completion of the mat can be carried out quickly and easily from the outside. The manufacturing costs can be reduced as a result.
  • the mat bodies can be produced from plastic plates, for example, by deep drawing or pressing.
  • the mat bodies permit a flat arrangement of the air outlet openings, for example for a fine bubbling of pearls, whereas the pipes are suitable for larger openings for a back or leg massage.
  • the bubble mat according to the invention advantageously has a plurality of mat bodies in the longitudinal direction, which extend over the entire width of the bubble mat.
  • the mat bodies can be divided into air chambers which are arranged next to one another and separated from one another.
  • the mat bodies can also consist of individual mat body parts which are arranged next to one another and connected to one another and each have only a single air chamber.
  • the mat bodies are preferably also supports for the pipelines which have the air outlet openings. These flexible lines can be held in grooves which are arranged in the mat body.
  • the air chambers of the individual mat bodies are particularly advantageously separated from one another and free of dividing walls dividing them. All sealing points or joints of the air chambers are arranged so that they seal to the outside. This brings advantages in the sealing and especially in the leak test, because leaks can be recognized immediately, which is difficult if the chambers have common seals or joints with dividing walls in which leaks are difficult to detect.
  • the holes in the individual mat bodies are preferably arranged in recessed rows of holes which, particularly in the case of holes for fine bubbling, preferably run transversely to those of the pipelines. A good surface distribution of the fine air bubbles can thereby be achieved in a simple manner.
  • the air outlet openings in the mat bodies which are expediently made of a thermoplastic, are preferably conical. On the one hand, this can influence the detachment of the air bubbles from the opening edge. In addition, a risk of constipation can also be avoided by suitable alignment of the taper.
  • the mat body each has, preferably at least one front loading opening for carrying out the Effervescent medium.
  • These loading openings can be designed as connecting pieces for connecting pieces in order to connect several mat bodies one behind the other in an air-conducting connection. It is also possible to provide a pipeline along a special groove of the mat body which has at least one opening which communicates with a corresponding opening in the chamber wall in the region of the groove. In this way, a plurality of mat bodies can be connected to one another via a continuous line which has branch openings leading into the air chambers.
  • the mat body is advantageously curved downwards at least on its underside.
  • the individual mat parts of a mat body can also be flexibly connected to one another, as a result of which the bubble bubble mat conforms to the curved shape of a tub floor.
  • Use in narrow bathtubs can be further favored by the fact that the side edges of a mat body are additionally rounded or tapered on the underside.
  • Mat bodies are described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 5, which are preferably parts of a bubble mat according to the design shown in FIG. 6.
  • a mat body part 10 (FIG. 1) initially consists of an internally hollow upper part 11 and a bottom part 12. The two parts are connected to one another in a pressure-tight manner along a seam 26.
  • the base part 12 is preferably designed as a flat, flat part. But it can also be profiled to keep the air volume of the mat and thus its buoyancy low.
  • depressions 13 with sparkling openings 14 are embedded in a manner known per se. The latter are designed with a small diameter in the exemplary embodiment and are used for pearl spraying or fine spraying.
  • the hoses 17, 18 can each be closed with closure parts 19, 20, sparkling medium is supplied at their opposite hose ends 21, 22.
  • the closure parts 19, 20 of a central mat body part can also be provided with a hanging hook.
  • the tubes 17, 18 are provided with whirlpool openings 23 of large diameter for carrying out a massage spray. But you can also provide 11 large bubble openings in the recesses 13 of the upper part and 18 small bubble openings in the tubes 17, 18.
  • the front of the mat body part 10 is provided with a loading opening 27 through which the effervescent medium is supplied to the mat body part 10 or the corresponding air chamber.
  • the structure of the mat body part described has the advantage over known mats that the compartments are not divided. However, it is possible to provide separate air chambers. If desired, these can be charged with bubbling medium of different pressures or have air outlet openings of different sizes.
  • the air chambers are preferably designed such that they only need to be sealed to the outside, that is to say along the seam 26 in the exemplary embodiment.
  • the implementation of a different type of bubble or the activation of separate bubble areas is in each case possible via the hoses 17, 18, but the hoses represent their own pressure system which is hermetically sealed against the mat body part 10.
  • the hoses can either be designed with a round cross section corresponding to the hose 18 in FIG. 1 or with a flattened cross section corresponding to the hose 17.
  • a plurality of mat body parts 10, 33 can be supplemented via a further mat part 35, which is used, for example, for coarse bubbling in the back area, to form a mat body that makes up the full width of an air bubble mat.
  • a groove 24, which is undercut in the exemplary embodiment is used on the mat body part 10, into which a shoulder 31 of the mat part 35 is inserted or snapped in from the side.
  • the mat body parts 10 and 33 can also be integrally formed or connected to one another while forming the mat body.
  • the mat part 35 which also has whirlpool openings, is inserted into a corresponding groove with a shoulder 32 inserted or snapped onto the mat body part 33.
  • a further mat body part (not shown in the drawing) can be attached with the aid of a connecting part 25 and a groove 28 undercut in the exemplary embodiment.
  • FIG. 2 A further exemplary embodiment of another mat body part 40 is shown in FIG. 2.
  • This mat body part is also provided with depressions 43 in which whirlpool openings of small cross section are arranged.
  • a hose 48 is inserted into a groove 46 and fastened there, provided at its end with a closure part 50 and is charged with effervescent medium via a hose part 52.
  • the hose 48 is provided with whirlpool openings 53 of large diameter for carrying out a massage spray.
  • Another hose 47 is fastened in a further groove 45, e.g. by snapping or gluing, the openings 57 of which correspond to other openings 58 in the mat body part 40.
  • Bubble medium is supplied to the mat body part 40 via the hose 47, which is closed at its end with a closure part 49. This measure makes it possible to dispense with a separate loading opening provided on the front on the mat body part 40.
  • the mat body part 40 also consists of an upper part 41 and a bottom part 42, which are connected to one another in a pressure-tight manner along a seam 56.
  • This mat body part 40 also has only a single chamber and is supplied with effervescent medium via a hose end 51 on the hose 47.
  • the other pressure chamber is formed by the hose 48 with the whirlpool openings 53 of a different diameter.
  • the mat body part 40 can also be provided with a groove 54 for connecting to further mat body parts
  • a mat body part 60 consists of an internally hollow upper part 61 and an internally hollow bottom part 62, which are connected to one another in a pressure-tight manner along a seam 76.
  • grooves 65, 66 are embedded, in which hoses 67, 68 are fastened and are provided at their end with closure parts 69 and 70, respectively.
  • the tubes 67, 68 have relatively large bubble openings 73 and, when a bubble medium is supplied via the tube ends 71, 72, serve to carry out a massage bubble.
  • the mat body part 10 according to FIG. 1 can have a cross-sectional shape, as shown in FIG. 5.
  • Flood channels 34 can be embedded in the mat body part 10 to reduce the air volume of the mat.
  • the flood channels 34 represent connections between the top and the bottom of the mat body part 10.
  • Another measure, or one that can be carried out in parallel, provides for the use of a corrugated bottom part 12 a (FIG. 5), which, due to its inward curvature, also becomes one Reduction of the air volume of the mat body part 10 and thus leads to a lower tendency to lift.
  • An air bubble mat 115 (FIG. 6) can be produced from the described mat parts and mat bodies with the associated hoses.
  • Such an air bubble mat consists, for example, of mat body parts 10, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94 and mat body parts 33, 96, 97 arranged in the center of the mat, which can also serve as connecting parts between the outer mat parts.
  • Hoses 17, 18, 98, 99 are fastened in corresponding grooves in the outer mat body parts 10, 93, 94 and 90, 91, 92, which in the exemplary embodiment are closed with closure parts 19, 20, 112, 113 at their free ends and with their opposite ends Ends are connected to an air distributor 100.
  • the hoses 17, 18, 98, 99 can e.g.
  • the mat body parts 10, 93, 94, 90, 91, 92 would have whirlpool openings 14 of small diameter for carrying out fine sprinkling.
  • the individual mat body parts can also be constructed as described above with reference to FIGS. 2 to 4. This means that the air bubble mat 115 (FIG. 6) according to FIGS. 3 and 4 can be constructed as a mat that can be used on both sides.
  • the interiors of the mat body parts 10, 93, 94 are connected to one another via connecting pieces 104, 105, 106 and connected to the air distributor 100, the interiors of the mat body parts 90, 91, 92 are connected to one another by means of connecting pieces 107, 108, 109 and also to the air distributor 100 connected.
  • the tubular connecting pieces are preferably flexible. If the hoses 17, 98 are used in the manner described with reference to FIG. 2, then the connecting pieces 104 to 109 can be dispensed with.
  • the mat body parts 33, 96, 97 can be constructed in a similar manner to the outer mat body parts, that is to say they can be constructed by means of inserted hoses, which at their free ends by means of closure parts 110, 111 Are completed. However, if the tubular interiors are already incorporated into the mat body parts 33, 96, 97, separate hose connections between the individual mat body parts 33, 96, 97 and the air distributor 100 are required.
  • Transverse pressure connections can also be created by e.g. the mat body parts 93 and 96 are connected to one another via hose connections or plug-in couplings, and the connections are continued in the same way from the mat body part 96 to the mat body part 91. This also applies to the other mat body parts
  • the air distributor 100 is provided with a separate opening 102 for draining water from the air bubble mat 115. If this air bubble mat is raised so high that the air distributor 100 is at the bottom, then water can run out of the opening 102, whereby the air bubble mat is emptied. A special position of a valve plug 101, which connects the opening 102 to one or more of the hoses or hose connections leading to the mat bodies, can accelerate the emptying process.
  • the opening 102 is arranged in the air distributor 100 in such a way that water flowing out of the air bubble mat 115 cannot flow out of a somewhat higher loading opening 103 which serves to connect the feed hose for the bubble medium.
