Claims (15)
1. Anvendelse af en sammensætning til fuldstændig erstatning for dieselbrændstof i drift af en kompressionstændingsmotor, hvilken sammensætning omfatter mindst 20 vægt-% methanol og fra 3 vægt-% til 40 vægt-% vand og ét eller flere additiver udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af: tændingsfremmende midler, brændstofstrækmidler, forbrændingsfremmende midler, oxygenabsorberende olie, additiver til forbedret smøreegenskab, produktfarvningsadditiver, flammefarvningsadditiver, rustbeskyttelsesadditiver, biocider, frysepunktssænkende midler, aflejringsreduktionsmidler, denatureringsmidler, pH-regulerende midler og blandinger deraf, hvor brændstofsammensætningen ikke indeholder dimethylether eller omfatter dimethylether i en mængde på ikke mere end 20 vægt-%.
2. Anvendelse ifølge krav 1, hvor sammensætningen omfatter fra 5 vægt-% til 32 vægt-% vand.
3. Anvendelse ifølge krav 1, hvor sammensætningen omfatter mellem 5 vægt-% og 40 vægt-% vand og ikke mere end 20 vægt-% additiver.
4. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor sammensætningen er en enkeltfasebrændstofsammensætning.
5. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den totale mængde af vand og methanol er mindst 80 vægt-% af sammensætningen.
6. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor methanolen i sammensætningen er råmethanol.
7. Fremgangsmåde til drift af en kompressionstændingsmotor ved anvendelse af et brændstof, der omfatter methanol og vand som en fuldstændig erstatning for dieselbrændstof, indbefattende: forvarmning af en indsugningsluftstrøm, indføring af den forvarmede luft i et forbrændingskammer af motoren og kompression af den forvarmede luft; og indføring af brændstoffet, der omfatter mindst 20 vægt-% methanol og fra 3 vægt-% til 40 vægt-% vand og ikke indeholder dimethylether, eller dimethylether i en mængde på ikke mere end 20 vægt-%, i forbrændingskammeret som en fuldstændig erstatning for traditionelt dieselbrændstof og antænding af brændstof/luftblandingen til at drive motoren.
8. Fremgangsmåde til drift af en kompressionstændingsmotor ifølge krav 7, der indbefatter forvarmning af indsugningsluften til 150 °C - 300 °C.
9. Fremgangsmåde til drift af en kompressionstændingsmotor ifølge krav 7 eller krav 8, der indbefatter afkøling af udstødningsmateriale via varmeveksleren, indsamling af vand fra det afkølede udstødningsmateriale og tilbageføring af mindst en del til brændstoffet.
10. Fremgangsmåde til drift af en kompressionstændingsmotor ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 7 til 9, der indbefatter fumigering af indgangsluften med et fumigeringsmiddel, der indeholder et tændingsfremmende middel.
11. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 6, hvor sammensætningen omfatter mindst 12 vægt-% vand.
12. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 6 og 11, hvor sammensætningen omfatter fra 12 vægt-% til 30 vægt-% vand.
13. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 7 til 10, hvor brændstoffet omfatter mindst 12 vægt-% vand.
14. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 7 til 10 og 13, hvor brændstoffet omfatter fra 12 vægt-% til 30 vægt-% vand.
15. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 6, 11 og 12, hvor brændstoffet ikke er en emulsion, der omfatter separate organiske og vandige faser.
