Description

Natürliche Textilfasermaterialien, insbesondere Cellulosefasermaterial und vor allem Baumwolle, aber auch Wolle und Seide, werden vor der Verar­ beitung zu Fäden, Garnen, Zwirnen und in der Folge zu Geweben oder Ge­ wirken meist vorbehandelt. Cellulosefasermaterial wird z. B. entschlich­ tet, gebleicht, laugiert und/oder mercerisiert. Dabei wird das Textil­ material von anhaftenden Fremdstoffen (Cu, Fe) und Salzen und/oder Hydroxiden (z. B. von Mg oder Ca) und färbenden und/oder verklebenden Bei­ produkten befreit. Die Eigenfarbe der Cellulose wird meist mit Peroxiden (i.b. Wasserstoffperoxid) ausgebleicht. Laugiert und mercerisiert wird mit Alkalihydroxid-Lösungen und ggf. Alkalisilikaten.
Es wurde nun gefunden, daß man bei den verschiedenen Prozessen der Textilfaser-Vorbehandlung sehr vorteilhaft ein Gemisch aus Zitronensäure, einem Alkali- oder Ammoniumsalz einer Zuckercarbonsäure, vorzugsweise Natriumgluconat, und gegebenenfalls einer geringen Menge Mineralsäure, vorzugsweise Salzsäure, in wäßriger Lösung einsetzt.
Die vorzugsweise im erfindungsgemäßen Hilfsmittel vorhandene Mineral­ säure erhöht die Protonen-Konzentration. Wird das Mittel in alkalischem Milieu verwendet, spielt die zur Neutralisation nötige Menge Alkali (Soda, NaOH) eine untergeordnete Rolle.
Dieses Gemisch ist bei verschiedenen pH-Werten in unterschiedlicher Weise wirksam:
bei pH 2,0 bis 3,0
Ionisation der Schwermetalle, die dann in löslicher Form eliminiert werden können,
bei pH 3,0 bis 4,0
findet bei natürlichen Fasern eine Entmineralisation (Schwermetall- oder Erdalkaliverbindungen) statt,
bei pH 4,0 bis 5,0
werden synthetische und natürliche Schlichten aufgeschlossen und zusammen mit pigmentähnlichen Stoffen eliminiert,
bei pH 5,0 bis 8,0
unter Pufferwirkung kann enzymatische Behandlung erfolgen,
bei pH 8,0 bis 11,0
findet Komplexbildung mit den vorhandenen Schwermetallionen statt, ferner Stabilisierung der Wasserstoffperoxid-Flotten
bei pH 11,0 bis 13,0
für die Alkali-Neutralisation; Zugabe vor der sauren Nachbehandlung nach dem Laugieren, Mercerisieren, Bleichen.
Bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Kompositionen enthalten (Gewichtsprozente).
5-40% Zitronensäure,
5-40% Natriumglukonat,
0-10% Salzsäure und
der Rest (auf 100%) Wasser.
Besonders bevorzugt sind z. B. Kompositionen, enthaltend
a) 25,0% Zitronensäure,
25,0% Natriumglukonat,
 5,0% Salzsäure und
45,0% Wasser oder
b) 15,0% Zitronensäure,
15,0% Natriumglukonat,
 3,2% Salzsäure und
66,8% Wasser oder
c) 30,0% Zitronensäure,
30,0% Natriumglukonat,
 1,0% Salzsäure und
39,0% Wasser.
(alle Prozentangaben Gewichtsprozente).
Im allgemeinen wendet man bei den Textilbehandlungsprozessen von einer dieser Kompositionen eine bis 100 ml/l, insbesondere eine 1-20 ml/l enthaltende Lösung an.
Beispiel 1
Ein Rohbaumwoll-Gewebe wird bei Umgebungstemperatur auf dem Foulard mit einer Flotte, die pro Liter 2 g eines handelsüblichen, nichtionogenen bis schwach anionaktiven Netz-/Wasch-/Dispergiermittels ("Sandoclean PC fl.") und 20 g des erfindungsgemäßen Produkts a) enthält, deren pH 2,8 beträgt, mit einer Flottengewichtszunahme von ca. 90% imprägniert, vier Stunden gelagert und danach intensiv gespült. Durch diese Behandlung wird das Textilmaterial entmineralisiert und kann, gegebenenfalls nach Zwischen­ trocknung, für alle weiteren Behandlungen verwendet werden.
Beispiel 2
Für die enzymatische Entschlichtung (stabilisierender Schutz der Enzyme) wird ein Rohbaumwoll-Gewebe im Pad-Batch-Verfahren mit einer wäßrigen Flotte, die im Liter 2 ml eines handelsüblichen Entschlichtungsmittels auf Basis bakterieller Alpha-Amylasen (Handelsname "Bactosol MTN fl.") und 1 ml des o.g. erfindungsgemäßen Produkts a) enthält (der pH dieser Lösung wird mit Soda auf pH 6 gestellt) enthält, imprägniert und 10 Stunden verweilen gelassen. Nach Auswaschen gemäß üblichem Verfahren, und Trocknen erhält man ein perfekt entschlichtetes Material. Auch Jeans-Stoff kann auf ähnliche Weise gereinigt werden: Hierfür wendet man eine wäßrige Flotte, die im Liter 10 ml des genannten Entschlich­ tungsmittels und 2 ml des erfindungsgemäßen Produkts enthält und mit Sodalösung auf pH 5,5 gestellt wurde, an und behandelt das Material im Tumbler 40 Minuten bei 60°C.
Beispiel 3
Rohseide wird mit einer wäßrigen Flotte, Flottenverhältnis 1 : 3, enzymatisch gereinigt. Die Flotte enthält im Liter 2 ml des handels­ üblichen Entschlichtungsmittels auf Proteasen-Basis, 1 ml des erfindungsgemäßen Produkts a) und wird mit Soda auf pH 8,5 gestellt. Das Material wird mit dieser Flotte im Tumbler 25 Minuten bei 60°C behandelt, anschließend gespült und getrocknet.
Beispiel 4
Zum Komplexieren der Fe3+-Ionen beim Abkochen wird Baumwoll-Gewebe mit einer Flotte, die pro Liter 5 ml eines handelsüblichen, gegen Alkalien beständigen, schwach schäumenden, anionaktiven Tensids (Handelsname "Sandopan CBN fl."), 2 ml des erfindungsgemäßen Produkts a) und 50 g Ätznatron (fest) enthält, imprägniert (Flottenaufnahme ca. 100%) und nach dem Pad-Steam-Verfahren 10 Minuten bei 102°C behandelt. Anschließend wird das Substrat gewaschen, gespült und getrocknet.
Beispiel 5
Ein Rohbaumwoll-Gewebe wird mit einer wäßrigen Flotte, enthaltend pro Liter 5 ml des in Beispiel 1 genannten anionaktiven Netz-/Wasch-/Disper­ giermittels (Handelsname "Sandoclean PC fl."), 10 ml eines handelsüblichen organischen Stabilisators für die halb- und vollkontinuierliche, silikat­ freie alkalische Wasserstoffperoxidbleiche von Baumwolle (Handelsname "Stabilisator SIFA fl."), 2 ml des erfindungsgemäßen Produkts a), 40 ml NaOH-36Be und 40 ml H2O2(35%), imprägniert, (Flottenaufnahme ca. 100%), nach dem Pad-Steam-Verfahren 30 Minuten bei 102°C behandelt, gewaschen, gespült und getrocknet. Es resultiert ein einwandfrei gebleichtes Gewebe.
Vorteilhaft können der Waschflotte auch pro Liter 5 ml des erfindungsgemäßen Produkts zugesetzt werden, in diesem Fall empfiehlt es sich in einer Breitwaschmaschine, 30 Sekunden bei ca. 60°C zu waschen, anschließend wird gespült und das Gewebe getrocknet.
Beispiel 6
Ein Rohbaumwoll-Gewebe wird in einer Flotte (Flottenverhältnis 1:15) enthaltend 5 ml/l des erfindungsgemäßen Produkts b) (oben, 2 ml/l des im Beispiel 1 genannten anionaktiven Netz-/Wasch-/Dispergiermittels (Sandoclean PC fl.) und 5 g/l eines handelsüblichen Bleichmittels auf Hydrosulfit-Basis, z. B. "Arostit BLN" 45 Minuten bei 60°C behandelt und danach je einmal heiß, warm und kalt gespült. Diese Behandlung ersetzt die Natriumhypochlorit-Bleiche und schließt somit das umweltbiologisch bedenkliche Chlor aus.

Claims (5)

1. Hilfsmittel für veredelnde Behandlungen von Textilfasermaterial bestehend aus einem Gemisch, enthaltend Zitronensäure, ein Alkali- oder Ammoniumsalz einer Zuckercarbonsäure und gegebenenfalls einer geringen Menge Mineralsäure, in wäßriger Lösung.
2. Hilfsmittel gemäß Anspruch 1, enthaltend
5-40% Zitronensäure,
5-40% Natriumglukonat,
0-10% Salzsäure und
der Rest auf 100% Wasser, wobei alle Prozente Gewichtsprozente sind
3. Hilfsmittel, gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, enthaltend
25% Zitronensäure,
25% Natriumglukonat,
 5% Salzsäure 30%) und
45% Wasser
4. Verfahren zum Veredeln von Textilmaterial, insbesondere Cellulose­ fasermaterial, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man dieses mit einem Gemisch gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3 behandelt.
5. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man pro Liter Behandlungsflotte 1 bis 50, vorzugsweise 1 bis 20 ml des Hilfsmittels gemäß Anspruch 2 oder 3 einsetzt.
