3. Verwendung von Benzoylureidodiphenyläther gemäß Anspruch 1, zur Bekämpfung von Insekten.
Es ist bereits bekannt, daß bestimmte Benzoylharn- so konzentrationen nicht immer.

Überraschenderweise besitzen die erfindungsgemäßen Benzoylureido-diphenyläther eine wesentlich bessere insektizide Wirkung als die nächstliegenden aus
dem Stand der Technik vorbekannten Verbindungen analoger Konstitution und gleicher Wirkungsrichtung.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Stoffe stellen somit eine echte Bereicherung der Technik dar.
Verwendet man nach Verfahren a) 4-(4'-Chlorphenoxy)-3-chloranilin und 2-Chlorbenzoylisocyanat und
nach Verfahren b) 4-(4'-Chlorphenoxy)-3-chlorphenylisocyanat und 2-Fluorbenzamid als Ausgangsstoffe, so
können die Reaktionsabläufe durch die folgenden Formelschemata wiedergegeben werden:
a) Cl--f\~0—<f>— NH2 + OCN-CO—<\
— CO—NH-CO-^f>
b) Cl-<f\_ o-<>-NCO + H2N- CO-<f\
NH-CO—NH-CO
Die zu verwendenden Ausgangsstoffe sind durch die Formeln (II) bis (V) allgemein definiert. Das als
Ausgangsstoff zu verwendende 2-Chlorbenzoylisocyanat ist aus der Literatur bekannt und kann, wie auch die
anderen Benzoylisocyanate, nach allgemein üblichen Verfahren hergestellt werden (vgl. A. J. Speziale u. a. J.
Org. Chem. 30 [12], S. 4306-4307 [1965]).
Das 2-Fluorbenzamid und die anderen Benzamide
sind bekannt und können nach allgemein üblichen
Verfahren hergestellt werden (vgl. Beilsteins Handbuch
der organischen Chemie, Band 9, Seite 336). Die Phenoxyaniline (II) können nach allgemein üblichen
Verfahren hergestellt werden, z. B. aus 4-Chlorphenol
und 3,4-Dichlornitrobenzol und anschließender katalytischer Reduktion der Nitrogruppe zur Aminogruppe
(vgl. Ber. 29, Seite 1446 [1896]). Die Aminogruppe kann nach allgemein üblichen Verfahren in die Isocyanat-Gruppe umgewandelt werden, z. B. durch Umsetzung
mit Phosgen, wodurch die 4-Isocyanatdiphenyläther der
allgemeinen Forme) (IV) erhalten werden.
Als Beispiele für verfahrensgemäß umzusetzende Benzoylisocyanate (III) und Benzamide (V) seien im
einzelnen genannt: 2-Chlor-, 2-Fluor-, 2-Brom-, 2-Methylbenzoylisocyanat,
ferner 2-Chlor-, 2-Fluor-, 2-Brom-, 2-Methylbenzamid.
Die Verfahren zur Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen werden bevorzugt unter Mitverwendung
von Lösungs- und Verdünnungsmitteln durchgeführt. Als solche kommen praktisch alle inerten
organischen Solventien in Frage. Hierzu gehören insbesondere aliphatische und aromatische, gegebenenfalls
chlorierte Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Benzol, Toluol, Xylol, Benzin, Methylenchlorid, Chloroform, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff,
Chlorbenzol, oder Äther, z. B. Diäthyl- und Dibutyläther, Dioxan, ferner Ketone, beispielsweise
Aceton, Methyläthyl-, Methylisopropyl- und Methylisobutylketon, außerdem Nitrile, wie Aceto- und Benzonitril.
Die Reaktionstemperatur kann innerhalb eines größeren Bereichs variiert werden. Im allgemeinen
arbeitet man zwischen 0 und 12O0C, vorzugsweise bei 70
bis 85* C.
Die Umsetzung läßt man im allgemeinen bei Normaldruck ablaufen.
Zur Durchführung der Verfahren setzt man die Reaktionskornponenten vorzugsweise in äquimolaren
Verhältnissen ein. Ein Überschuß der einen oder anderen Komponente bringt keine wesentlichen Vorteile.
Der bei der Verfahrensvariante b) einzusetzende 4-Isocyanat-diphenyläther (IV) kann als solcher, oder
ohne ihn zwischenzeitlich zu isolieren, in Form seines Reaktionsgemisches, das aus der Umsetzung von Amin
und Phosgen erhalten wird, eingesetzt werden. Dieses Reaktionsgemisch wird in einem der vorstehend
angegebenen Lösungsmittel, z. B. mit 2-Fluorbenzamid versetzt. Die Reaktion wird unter den gewünschten
Bedingungen durchgeführt und das sich ausscheidende Produkt in üblicher Weise durch Filtrieren, Waschen
und eventuellem Umkristallisieren isoliert.
Die Verbindungen fallen in kristalliner Form mit scharfem Schmelzpunkt an.
Wie bereits mehrfach erwähnt, zeichnen sich die erfindungsgemäßen Benzoylureido-diphenyläther bei
günstiger Warmblütertoxizität sowie guter Pflanzenverträglichkeit durch eine hervorragende insektizide
Wirkung aus. Sie wirken gegen Pflanzen-, Hygiene- und Vorratsschädlinge. Sie können auch auf dem veterinärmedizinischen Sektor Verwendung finden.
Ausdiese'm Grunde können die erfindungsgemäßen
Verbindungen mit Erfolg im Pflanzenschutz gegen beißende und saugende Insekten als Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel
eingesetzt werden.
Zu den saugenden Insekten gehören im wesentlichen Blattläuse (Aphididae) wie die grüne Pfirsichblattlaus
(Myzus persicae), die schwarze Bohnen- (Doralis fabae), Hafer- (Ropalosiphum padi), Erbsen- (Macrosiphum
pisi) und Kartoffellaus (Macrosiphum solanifolii), ferner die Johannisbeergallen- (Cryptomyzus korschelti), mehlige
Apfel- (Sappaphis mali), mehlige Pflaumen-(Hyalopterus
arundinis) und schwarze Kirschenblattlaus (Myzus cerasi), außerdem Schild- und Schmierläuse
(Coccina), z. B. die Efeuschild- (Aspidiotus hederae) und Napfschildlaus (Lecanium hesperidum) sowie die
Schmierlaus (Pseudococcus maritimus); Blasenfüße (Thysanoptera) wie Hercinothrips femoralis und Wanzen,
beispielsweise die Rüben- (Piesma quadrata), Baumwoll- (Dysdercus intermedius), Bett- (Cimex
lectularius), Raub- (Rhodnius prolixus) und Chagaswanze (Triatoma infestans), ferner Zikaden, wie Euscelis
bilobatus und Nephotettix bipunctatus.
Bei den beißenden Insekten wären vor allem zu nennen Schmetterlingsraupen (Lepidoptera) wie die
Kohlschabe (Plutella maculipennis), der Schwammspinner (Lymantria dispar), Goldafter (Euproctis chrysorrhoea)
und Ringelspinner (Malacosoma neustria), weiterhin die Kohl- (Mamestra brassicae) und die
Saateule (Agrotis segetum), der große Kohlweißling (Pieris brassicae), kleine Frostspanner (Cheimatobia
brumata), Eichenwickler (Tortrix viridana), der Heer-(Laphygma frugiperda) und ägyptische Baumwollwurm
(Prodenia litura), ferner die Gespinst- (Hyponomeuta padella). Mehl- (Ephestia kühniella) und große Wachsmotte
(Galleria mellonella).
Weiterhin zählen zu den beißenden Insekten Käfer (Coleoptera) z. B. Korn- (Sitophilus granarius = Calandra granaria), Kartoffel- (Leptinotarsa decemlineata), Ampfer- (Gastrophysa viridula), Meerrettichblatt-(Phaedon cochleariae), Rapsglanz- (Meligethes aeneus), Himbeer- (Byturus tomentosus), Speisebohnen- (Bruchidius = Acanthoscelides obtectus), Speck- (Dermestes frischi), Khapra- (Trogoderma granarium), rotbrauner Reismehl- (Tribo)ium castaneum), Mais- (Calandra oder Sitophilus zeamais), Brot- (Stegobium paniceum), gemeiner Mehl- (Tenebrio molitor) und Getreideplattkäfer (Oryzaephilus surinamensis), aber auch im Boden lebende Arten, z. B. Drahtwürmer (Agriotes spec.) und Engerlinge (Melolontha melolontha); Schaben wie die Deutsche (Blattella germanica), Amerikanische (Periplaneta americana), Madeira- (Leucophaea oder Rhyparobia maderae). Orientalische (Blatta orientalis), Riesen-(Blaberus giganteus) und schwarze Riesenschabe (Biaberus fuscus) sowie Henschoutedenia flexivitta; ferner Orthopteren, z. B. das Heimchen (Gryllus domesticus); Termiten wie die Erdtermite (Reticulitermes flavipes) und Hymenopteren wie Ameisen, beispielsweise die Wiesenameise (Lasius niger).
Weiterhin zählen zu den beißenden Insekten Käfer (Coleoptera) z. B. Die Dipteren umfassen im wesentlichen Fliegen wie die Tau- (Drosophila melanogaster), Mittelmeerfrucht-(Ceratitis
capitata), Stuben- (Musca domestica), kleine
Stuben- (Fannia canicularis), Glanz- (Phormia regina) und Schmeißfliege (Calliphora erythrocephala) sowie
den Wadenstecher (Stomoxys calcitrans); ferner Mükken, z.B. Stechmücken wie die Gelbfieber- (Aedes
aegypti). Haus- (Culex pipiens) und Malariamücke
so (Anopheles stephensi).
Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe können in die üblichen Formulierungen übergeführt werden, wie
Lösungen, Emulsionen, Suspensionen, Pulver, Pasten und Granulate. Diese werden in bekannter Weise
hergestellt, z. B. durch Vermischen der Wirkstoffe mit Streckmitteln, also flüssigen Lösungsmitteln, unter
Druck stehenden verflüssigten Gasen und/oder festen Trägerstoffen, gegebenenfalls unter Verwendung von
oberflächenaktiven Mitteln, also Emulgiermitteln und/ oder Dispergiermitteln und/oder schaumerzeugenden
Mitteln. Im Falle der Benutzung von Wasser als Streckmittel können z. B. auch organische Lösungsmittel
als Hilfslösungsmittel verwendet werden. Als flüssige
Lösungsmittel kommen im wesentlichen in Frage:
Aromaten, wie Xylol, Toluol, Benzol oder Alkylnaphthaline,
chlorierte Aromaten oder chlorierte aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Chlorbenzole, Chloräthylene
oder Methylenchlorid, aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe,
wie Cyclohexan oder Paraffine, z. B. Erdölfraktionen, Alkohole, wie Butanol oder Glycol sowie deren Äther
und Ester, Ketone, wie Aceton, Methylethylketon, Methylisobutylketon oder Cyclohexanon, stark polare
Lösungsmittel, wie Dimethylformamid und Dimethylsulfoxid, sowie Wasser; mit verflüssigten gasförmigen
Streckmitteln oder Trägerstoffen sind solche Flüssigkeiten gemeint, welche bei normaler Temperatur und unter
Normaldruck gasförmig sind, z. B. Aerosol-Treibgase, wie Halogenkohlenwasserstoffe, z. B. Freon; als feste
Trägerstoffe: natürliche Gesteinsmehle, wie Kaoline, Tonerden. Talkum, Kreide, Quarz, Attapulgit, Montmorillonit oder Diatomeenerde und synthetische Gesteinsmehle, wie hochdisperse Kieselsäure, Aluminiumoxid
und Silikate; als Emulgier- und/oder schaumerzeugende Mittel: nichtionogene und anionische Emulgatoren, wie
Polyoxyäthylen- Fettsäure- Ester, Polyoxyäthylen-Fettalkohol-Äther, z. B. Alkylaryl-polyglykol-äther, Alkylsulfonate. Alkylsulfate, Arylsulfonate sowie Eiweißhydrolysate; als Dispergiermittel: z. B. Lignin, Sulfitablaugen und Methylcellulose.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe können in den Formulierungen in Mischung mit anderen bekannten
Wirkstoffen vorliegen.
Die Formulierungen enthalten im allgemeinen zwischen 0,1 und 95 Gewichtsprozent Wirkstoff, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,5 und 90%.
Die Wirkstoffe können als solche, in Form ihrer Formulierungen oder in den daraus bereiteten Anwendungsformen, wie gebrauchsfertige Lösungen, Emulsionen, Schäume, Suspensionen, Pulver, Pasten, lösliche
Pulver, Stäubmittel und Granulate angewendet werden. Die Anwendung geschieht in üblicher Weise, z. B. durch
Verspritzen, Versprühen, Vernebeln, Verstäuben, Verstreuen, Verräuchern, Vergasen, Gießen, Beizen oder
Inkrustieren.
Die Wirkstoffkonzentrationen in den anwendungsfertigen Zubereitungen können in größeren Bereichen
variiert werden. Im allgemeinen liegen sie zwischen 0,0001 und 10%, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,01 und 1%.
Die Wirkstoffe können auch mit gutem Erfolg im Ultra-Low-Volume-Verfahren (ULV) verwendet werden, wo es möglich ist. Formulierungen bis zu 95% oder
sogar den 100%igen Wirkstoff allein auszubringen.

Emulgator: 1 Gewichtsteil
Zur Herstellung einer zweckmäßigen Wirkstoffzubereitung vermischt man 1 Gewichtsteil Wirkstoff mit der
angegebenen Menge Lösungsmittel und der angegebenen Menge Emulgator und verdünnt das Konzentrat mit
Wasser auf die gewünschte Konzentration.
Mit der Wirksioffzubereitung besprüht man Kohlblätter (Brassica oleracea) tropfnaß und besetzt sie mit
Meerrettichblattkäfer-Larven (Phaedon cochleariae).
Nach den angegebenen Zeiten wird die Abtötung in % bestimmt. Dabei bedeutet 100%, daß alle Käfer-Larven abgetötet wurden; 0% bedeutet, daß keine
Käfer-Larven abgetötet wurden.

Auswertung und Resultate gehen aus der nachfolgenden Tabelle 1 hervor:

Zur Herstellung einer zweckmäßigen Wirkstoffzubereitung vermischt man 1 Gewichtsteil Wirkstoff mit der
angegebenen Menge Lösungsmittel und der angegebenen Menge Emulgator und verdünnt das Konzentrat mit
Wasser auf die gewünschte Konzentration.
Mit der Wirkstoffzubereitung besprüht man Kohlblätter (Brassica oleracea) taufeucht und besetzt sie mit
Raupen der Kohlschabe (Plutella maculipennis). Nach den angegebenen Zeiten wird die Abtötung in
% bestimmt. Dabei bedeutet 100%, daß alle Raupen abgetötet wurden; 0% bedeutet, daß keine Raupen
abgetötet wurden.
Wirkstoffe, Wirkstoffkonzentrationen, Auswertungszeiten und Resultate gehen aus der nachfolgenden
Tabelle 2 hervor:

( Anwendungsbeispiel 3
Äthylenpolyglykolmonomethyläther 35 Gewichtsteile
Nonylphenolpolyglykoläther
Zur Herstellung einer zweckmäßigen Wirkstoffzubereitung vermischt man 30 Gewichtsteile der betreffenden aktiven Substanz mit der angegebenen Menge
Lösungsmittel, das den oben genannten Anteil Emulga-

tor enthält und verdünnt das so erhaltene Konzentrat mit Wasser auf die gewünschte Konzentration.
Etwa 20 Fliegenlarven (Lucilia cuprina) werden in ein Teströhrchen gebracht, welches ca. 2 cm3 Pferdemuskulatur enthält. Auf dieses Pfedefleisch werden 0,5 ml der
Wirkstoffzubereitung gebracht. Nach 24 Stunden wird der Abtötungsgrad in % bestimmt. Dabei bedeuten
100%, daß alle, und 0%, daß keine Larven abgetötet worden sind.
Wirkstoffe, Wirkstoffkonzentrationen und Resultate gehen aus der nachfolgenden Tabelle 3 hervor:

Zu 5,1 g (0,02 MoI) 4-(4'-Chlorphenoxy)-3-chloranilin
in 100 cm3 Toluol tropft man bei 80° C eine Lösung von 3,7 g (0,02 Mol) 2-Chlorbenzoylisocyanat in 20 cm3
Toluol. Der Ansatz wird 1 Stunde bei 8O0C gerührt.
Nach dem Abkühlen wird das ausgefallene Produkt l5 Schmelzpunkt von 186°C.
abgesaugt, zuerst mit Toluol und dann mit Petroläther gewaschen. Nach dem Trocknen erhält man 5,0 g (60%
der Theorie) an analysenreinem 2',4-Dichlor-4'-[N-(N'-(O-chlorbenzoyl))]-ureido-diphenyläther
mit dem
CO—NH-CO—NH
Zu einer Lösung von 5,8 g (0,02 Mol) 4-(2',4'-Cichlorphenoxy)-3-chloranilin
in 100 cm3 Toluol tropft man bei
80°C eine Lösung von 3,7 g (0,02 Mol) 2-Chlorbenzoylisocyanat
in 20 cm3 Toluol. Der Ansatz wird 1 Stunde bei 8O0C gerührt. Die sich ausscheidende Substanz wird
nach dem Abkühlen des Reaktionsgemisches auf 2O0C
30 abgesaugt und mit Toluol und Petroläther gewaschen. Nach dem Trocknen erhält man 7 g (74% der Theorie)
an 2,2',4-Trichlor-[N-(N'-(2-chlorbenzoyl))-ureido]-diphenyläther mit dem Schmelzpunkt von 171 °C.
In analoger Arbeitsweise, wie unter Beispiel 1 und 2 beschrieben, erhält man die folgenden Verbindungen:
