Description

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Hilfsmittel für Druckpasten und Färbeflotten, bestehend aus a) 1-30 Gewichtsprozenten Octylphenylpentaglykoläther, b) 20-70 Gewichtsprozenten Benzylalkohol und c) 30-80 Gewichtsprozenten Monophenylglykoläther. Die Erfindung betrifft im weiteren die Verwendung dieses Hilfsmittels zur Herstellung von Druckpasten und Färbeflotten.
Von der Komponente a) verwendet man im allgemeinen 1-30, vorzugsweise 10-20, und speziell 15 Gewichtsprozente von der Komponente b) vorzugsweise 30-50 und speziell 35-45 Gewichtsprozente und vonaer Komponente c) vorzugsweise 30-50, vorzugsweise 35-50 und speziell 40-45 Gewichtsprozente.
Die Anwendungsmengen des Hilfsmittels liegen bei 1-100, vorzugsweise 20-70 und besonders 20-50 g pro Kilogramm der Druckpaste oder der Färbelösung. Als Farbstoffe können prinzipiell alle Farbstoffe verwendet werden, vorzugsweise aber Säure- und Metallkomplexfarbstoffe, wie sie im Colour Index, Third Edition, Vol. 1-3, beschrieben sind.
Das Hilfsmittel ist für Drucke und kontinuierliches Färben verwendbar und kommt insbesondere für das Drucken und Färben von textlien Materialien zur Anwendung, die teilweise oder ganz aus Polyamid-Fasern und/oder aus mit kationaktiven Gruppen modifizierten Polypropylenfasern bestehen. Solche textlien Materialien sind vor allem Teppiche oder Vliese. Unter Polyamidfasern sind natürliche Fasern, wie Wolle oder synthetische, wie Nylon 6 oder Nylon 66, 610 und verwandte Produkte zu verstehen.
Die Herstellung und Verwendung dieser Druckpasten und Färbeflotten erfolgt nach an sich bekannten
Methoden, wie es beispielsweise im Journal of the
American Association of Textile Chemists and CoIorists, August 1970, Seiten 273-278, beschrieben ist.
Aus der CH-PS 457077 sind schon anionische Hilfsmittel bekannt, in denen an Stelle der Komponente (a) Salze von Schwefelsäureestern von Anlagerungsprodukten von Äthylenoxyd an Nonylphenol enthalten sind. Diese Hilfsmittel schäumen aber beträchtlich.
ίο Die erfindungsgemäße Zusammensetzung jedoch ist schaumarm und deshalb wenig farbstoffretaidierend, so daß eine verkürzte Fixierzeit und bessere Farbstoffausbeute für Säure- und Metallkomplexfarbstoffe erreichbar ist. Eine bessere Antifrostwirkung wird ebenfalls erzielt.
In den folgenden Beispielen sind Teile Gewichtsteile, Prozente Gewichtsprozente und Grade Celsiusgrade.
Beispiel 1
Eine Druckpaste, bestehend aus:
6 Teilen des Azo-Metallkomplexfarbstoffes C. I.
Acid Brown 298
30 Teilen Harnstoff
406 Teilen kochendem Wasser
500 Teilen Kernmehlverdickung 3%ig
40 Teilen einer Mischung bestehend aus:
15 Gew.% Octylphenylpentaglykoläther 40 Gew.% Benzylalkohol
45 Gew.% Monophenylglykoläther
20 Teilen Essigsäure
wird erstellt und mittels einer Zimmer-Rotationsdruckmaschine auf einem getufteten Teppichbodenbelag aus Polyamid 66 appliziert. Anschließend wird kontinuierlich 4 Minuten bei 102° gedämpft, kalt gewaschen und getrocknet.
Beispiel 2
Man erstellt Farblösungen folgender Zusammensetzup-g:
a) 3 Teile des Farbstoffes C. I. Acid Orange 67 10 Teile Butyldiglykoläther
637 Teile kochendes Wasser
300 Teile Kernmehlverdickung 3%ig
30 Teile einer Mischung aus:
15 Gew.% Octylphenylpentaglykoläther
40 Gew.% Benzylalkohol
45 Gew.% Monophenylglykoläther
20 Teile Essigsäure
b) 8 Teile des Farbstoffes C. I. Acid Red 151
(190%) (= C. I. 26900)
10 Teile Rutyldiglykoläther
432 Teile kochendes Wasser
500 Teile Kernmehlverdickung 3%ig
(beispielsweise aus Johannisbrot oder Gua)
30 Teile einer Mischung aus:
15 Gew.% Octylphenylpentaglykoläther
40 Gew.% Benzylalkohol
45 Gew.% Monophenylglykoläther
20 Teile Essigsaure
Ein Polyamid-6-Wirkschlauch aus Teppichgarn wird kontinuierlich mit Lösung a) getränkt, wobei der Überschuß zwischen zwei Gummiwalzen abgepreßt wird (Flottenaufnahme 100%), und anschließend wird mit Hilfe einer Druckwalze mit einer erhabenen
Walzengravur-Druckpaste b) überdruckt, 4 Minuten bei 102° gedämpft und gewaschen. Ein analoges Ergebnis erhält man, wenn man an Stelle des Verhältnisses 15:40:45 ein solches von 20:35:45 oder 10:45:45 verwendet.
Beispiel 3
Man stellt eine Lösung her aus:
5 Teilen des Diazo-Farbstoffes C. I. Acid Red 299 30 Teilen Harnstoff
840 Teilen kochendem Wasser
100 Teilen Kernmehlverdickung 3%ig
20 Teilen einer Mischung aus:
1 Gew.% Octylphenylpentaglykoläther 49 Gew. % Benzylalkohol
S 55 Gew.% Monophenylglykoläther
5 Teilen Mononatriumphosphat
Diese Lösung wird mit Hiäfe einer Küster-Imprägnieranlage auf einem Polyamid-6-tufted-Material aufgebracht (400% Flottenaufnahme) und direkt ίο während 5 Minuten zum Fixieren durch einen Schleifendämpfer geführt und gewaschen.

Claims (5)

Patentansprüche:
1. Hilfsmittel für die Hevstellung von Druckpasten und Färbeflotten auf Basis von Benzylalkohol undMonophenylglykoläther,dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß es aus a) 1-30 Gewichtsprozenten Octylphenylpentaglykoläther, b) 20-70 Gewichtsprozenten Benzylalkohol und c) 30-80 Gewichtsprozenten Monophenylglykoläther besteht.
2. Hilfsmittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus 1-30 Gewichtsprozenten der Komponente a), 20-70 Gewichtsprozenten der Komponente b) und 30-50 Gewichtsprozenten der Komponente c) besteht.
3. Hilfsmittel nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus 10-20 Gewichtsprozenten der Komponente a), 30-50 Gewichtsprozenten der Komponente b) und 30-50 Gewichtsprozenten cbr Komponente c) besteht.
4. Hilfsmittel nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus 15 Gewichtsprozenten der Komponente a), 40 Gewichtsprozenten der Komponente b) und 45 Gewichtsprozenten der Komponente c) besteht.
5. Verwendung des Hilfsmittels gemäß Ansprüchen 1 bis 4, zur Herstellung von Druckpasten und Färbeflotten, die als Farbstoffe Säure- oder Metallkomplexfarbstoffe enthalten.
