Zur zweckmäßigen Herstellung von Antimoncalciumlaktat hat man bisher gemäß Patentschrift
9893g die Lösung von Antimonoxyd in Salzsäure mit Sodalösung oder mit Wasser zersetzt und das frisch gefällte Antimonoxyd
in eine Lösung von saurem Calciumlaktat oder von einem Gemisch von freier Milchsäure und Calciumlaktat unter Erwärmen
eingetragen. Durch die gleichzeitige Verwendung von Milchsäure und Calciumlaktat
gelingt es, reichliche Mengen von An-. timonoxyd in Milchsäure zu lösen. Eine glatte Lösung der dabei gewonnenen Doppellaktate
in Wasser und eine technische Verwertbarkeit derselben findet aber nur statt, wenn man den Doppellaktaten genügende
Mengen von Milchsäure, Natrium-, Calcium- und Tonerdelaktat beimischt oder verschiedene
Doppellaktate, wie z. B. Antimonnatriumlaktat und Antimoncalciumlaktat, miteinander
mechanisch mischt.
In einfacherer Weise gelangt man zu einem ohne Zersetzung in Wasser löslichen Antimondoppellaktat
durch doppelte Umsetzung von Antimonsulfat mit Calciumlaktat bei Gegenwart von neutralem Natriumlaktat und
Laktaten der Metalle, welche lösliche Sulfate bilden, wie z. B. Magnesium- oder Aluminiumlaktat.
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Antimoncalciumlaktat
Von der Formel:
Sb(C3H6OJ3-Ca(C3H6O3J2,
welches glatt ohne Zusatz von Milchsäure oder Laktaten in Wasser löslich ist.
Zur Herstellung dieses Körpers wird von einer Lösung von Fluorantimon (SbFl3) ausgegangen,
welcher eine Lösung von neutralem milchsaurem Kalk in dem Verhältnis zugesetzt wird, daß das Fluor an Kalk gebunden
wird. Dabei bildet sich milchsaures Antimon quantitativ nach der Gleichung:
2SbFl3 + 3Ca-(C3H6O3J2
= 3 Ca Fl2 + 2Sb (C3 H6 O3)s.
= 3 Ca Fl2 + 2Sb (C3 H6 O3)s.

Zur Bildung des Doppellaktats wird nun auf ι'Molekül Antimonlaktat 1 Molekül Calciumlaktat
zugesetzt. Diese Umsetzung wird aber nur erzielt bei Anwesenheit von Calciumsulfat,
welches gewissermaßen den Anstoß zur Umsetzung gibt. Ohne Calciumsulfat bleibt die Lösung klar bzw. die anfängliche
Trübung verschwindet beim Stehen. Oder man verwendet von vornherein gipshaltigen
rohen milchsauren Kalk oder sehr hartes Wasser.
In Ausübung des Verfahrens wird die zur Umsetzung der Fluorantimonlösung nötige
Menge von milchsaurem Kalk in wäßriger, mit Gips gesättigter Lösung auf einmal der
Fluorantimonlösung und bei eventueller Anwesenheit von freier Flußsäure, die in geringen
Mengen in Fluoräntimonlösung vorhanden ist, die zur Neutralisation der freigewordenen Milchsäure nötige Menge Calciumcarbonat
zugesetzt. Das ausgeschiedene Fluorcalcium
wird nach Absetzen abfiltriert, gut, möglichst durch Dekantieren, ausgesüßt und das Filtrat
auf dem Wasserbade oder im Vakuum eingedampft. Dabei erhält man das obengenannte
Doppellaktat, welches 15 bis 16 Prozent Antimonoxyd enthält.
Das Verfahren zeigt den Vorteil, daß es glatt und quantitativ verläuft, da die Fluorverbindung
des Antimons sehr leicht das Me-
tall abgibt, daß die gesamte Flußsäure quantitativ in Form des unlöslichen und daher
leicht abscheidbaren Fluorcalciums wiedergewonnen wird und zur Herstellung von Flußsäure
bzw. Antimonfluorid wieder benutzt werden kann.
Das dargestellte Produkt löst sich ohne jeden Zusatz in Wasser, ohne daß sich Antimonoxyd ausscheidet.
20,0 g Fluorantimonlösung, enthaltend 10,0 g Sb Fl3, oder 10,0 g festes Fluorantimon
(Merck), gelöst in etwa 100 ecm Wasser, werden mit 31,0 g neutralem Calciumlaktat
(100 Prozent), gelöst in 500 ecm gesättigtem Gipswasser, kalt versetzt.
Es erfolgt sogleich eine bleibende Fällung, welche jedoch zu ihrer Vervollständigung und
zwecks besseren Absetzens etwa J/4 Stunde
auf dem Wasserbad erwärmt werden muß. Das Gipswasser bewirkt im Verein mit kurzem
Erhitzen eine fast quantitative Umsetzung in Fluorcalcium und Antimonlaktat.
Die abgesetzte Fällung muß sorgfältigst, möglichst durch Dekantieren, ausgesüßt werden.
Das Filtrat wird eingedampft und ergibt etwa 50,0 g Antimonlaktat mit 15 bis 16 Prozent
Sb2 O3. Der geringe Gipsgehalt ist für
seine Verwendung nicht schädlich, wein man
es nicht vorzieht, durch Filtrieren der konzentrierten Lösung den Gips ganz zu entfernen.

- Patent-Anspruch:Verfahren zur Herstellung von Antimoncalciumlaktat mittels Calciumlaktat, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Fluorantimonlösung mit neutralen gipshaltigen Lösungen von Calciumlaktat kalt ausfällt und die filtrierte Lösung behufs Abscheidung des Doppellaktats eindampft.
