Abstract

El presente invento se refiere a una nueva composiciónfarmacéutica y a un procedimiento para preparar tabletas de metilcelulosa tragables, que se desintegran con rapidez y cumplen las normas de desintegración de la USP en ácido clorhídrico 0,1 N así como en agua. Una tableta rápidamente desintegrable para administración por vía oral, cuya tableta comprende una mezcla compactada de metilcelulosa que tiene una viscosidad de 10 dina.s/cm2 , y un diluyente seleccionado entre celulosa microcristalina, almidón de maíz, Starch 1500, o una mezcla de ellos. Una tableta rápidamente desintegrable para administración por vía oral, cuya tableta comprende una mezcla compactada de metilcelulosa que tiene una viscosidad de ANDgt;10 dina.s/cm2 , y un diluyente seleccionado entre celulosa microcristalina, almidón de maíz, Starch 1500, o una mezcla de ellos. La tableta de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, que comprende además un agente desintegrante. La tableta de acuerdo con la reivindicación 2, en la que el agente desintegrante es almidón-glicolato de sodio. La tableta de acuerdo con la reivindicación 3, en la que el almidón-glicolato de sodio está presente en una cantidad de aproximadamente 3 hasta aproximadamente 7% p/p. La tableta de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1 ó 2, que comprende además un agente humectante. La tableta de acuerdo con la reivindicación 5, en la que el agente humectante es lauril-sulfato de sodio. La tableta de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1 ó 2, que comprende además un agente lubricante. La tableta de acuerdo con la reivindicación 7, en la que el agente lubricante es estearato de magnesio. La tableta de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1 o 2, que comprende además un agente aglutinante.
