Abstract
En el presente documento se proporcionan anticuerpos y moléculas de unión a antígeno biespecíficas que se unen a MET y métodos de uso de los mismos. Las moléculas de unión a antígeno biespecíficas comprenden un primer y un segundo dominio de unión a antígeno, en donde el primer y el segundo dominio de unión a antígeno se unen a dos epítopos diferentes (preferiblemente no superpuestos) del dominio extracelular del MET humano. Las moléculas de unión a antígeno biespecíficas son capaces de bloquear la interacción entre MET humano y su ligando HGF. Las moléculas de unión a antígeno biespecíficas pueden exhibir una actividad agonista de MET mínima o nula, por ejemplo, en comparación con las moléculas de unión a antígeno monovalentes que comprenden solo uno de los dominios de unión a antígeno de la molécula biespecífica, los que tienden a ejercer una actividad agonista de MET no deseada. También se incluyen los conjugados anticuerpo-fármaco (ADC) que comprenden los anticuerpos o moléculas de unión a antígeno biespecíficas proporcionados en el presente documento enlazados a un agente citotóxico, radionúclido u otro resto, así como a métodos para tratar el cáncer en un sujeto mediante la administración al sujeto de una molécula de unión a antígeno biespecífica o un ADC de la misma.
