技术领域

背景技术
水性凝胶材料已经广泛地用于医药、诊疗器械、药材、化妆品、生活杂物、建筑材料、油漆、化学物质、照片等。它们包括如水性合成聚合物和天然聚合物之类的原材料。典型的水性合成聚合物包括聚乙烯醇和交联的聚丙烯酸钠。
另一方面,典型的天然聚合物包括琼脂、角叉菜胶、明胶和胞外多糖胶,它们已经在食品中作为天然多糖尝试应用,形成具有粘性或粘弹性的水性组合物。此类多糖也共混在香料和除臭剂中,以及用作胶凝剂(参见专利文件1、专利文件2、专利文件3和专利文件4)。
目前,涉及对环境造成负担的废料的问题,已开发出具有优点的材料,例如在丢弃之后可生物降解的材料和通过再循环可加工的材料。一般而言,聚合物试剂材料例如乳酸和氨基酸的聚合物已开发成可生物降解材料,聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)的应用在再循环方面已有进展。
可获得的含水材料包括各种胶凝剂,通常是聚乙烯醇和交联的聚丙烯酸钠。在那些可获得的含水材料之中,由于处理上的可生物降解性和对人类的安全性,天然材料在环境问题方面是尤其有利的和有意义的。它们具有广泛的通用性并可以在任何工业领域安全地获得而不需要考虑对环境造成的负担,例如由化学合成产生的废水、废气和废溶剂。

发明内容
本发明解决的问题
如上所述,天然多糖已主要在食品中尝试应用。就通常用作基础材料的角叉菜胶和胞外多糖胶而言,为增强断裂强度而增加混合物的量会产生一种水性组合物,其具有极大的排水量和差的柔韧性的问题。此外,因为要求它们与金属例如钙和镁的离子反应,该反应是不可逆的,所以它们不能再利用,这是一个问题。琼脂的凝胶也具有大的排水量,并且显示高断裂强度的固体物理性能,虽然它具有差的柔韧性、硬度且是易碎的。明胶产生软的凝胶,但是强度较低并且该凝胶在40℃或更高的温度下熔化,这是一个问题。
源自这些天然凝胶剂的水性凝胶材料由于蒸发耗散随着时间排出水分但是没有吸水性。因此,它们不可以用于吸水性目的的用途。此外,在它们排出水分之后,它们不能通过吸水重新使用。
在本发明中提到的吸水性是指与水接触时存在吸水的功能并且不同于当置于空气中时所谓的吸湿性。由于吸水性的优点,水性凝胶在空气中散失水分之后然后当给予它水分时吸水还原,从而可以重新使用。这很大程度上是为了降低资源消耗和减少废物。
另一方面,半乳甘露聚糖和黄原胶的混合使用已知形成几乎没有排水性的浓凝胶,并且在例如JP 2002-060546 A中进行了公开。它们具有作为水性凝胶的优异的性能例如柔韧性和吸水性,然而溶胶的高粘度极大地使生产时的处理恶化,即使当将它加热时仍如此,并要求在加工和填充生产线上的机械操作例如加压和减压。因此,存在对其用途的限制。通常,加工要求加热到80-90℃。因此,不能将易挥发的物质和热不稳定的组分与它们混合,这是一个问题。此类材料具有吸水性但是速度缓慢,因此再加工是麻烦的。这些水溶性聚合物材料在常温下不显示水溶性,因此不能排出处理。因此,这些材料的处理要求作为湿垃圾和可燃垃圾来处理,这导致问题。
本发明的目的是提供具有充足的柔韧性和弹性、在保存期间具有较少的凝胶强度变化、具有低的溶胶粘度、具有易加工性的凝胶型吸水剂,其具有极小排水量的物理性能并具有吸水性和水溶性的功能。
解决问题的手段
本发明的发明人等为了解决上述问题已进行了深入的研究,结果发现了含某种特定罗望子多糖和水溶性有机物质的水性凝胶材料具有充足的柔韧性和弹性、在保存期间具有较少的凝胶强度变化、具有低的溶胶粘度、具有易加工性、具有极小排水量并具有吸水性和水溶性的所有功能。本发明是基于上述认知作出的,并且其涉及凝胶型吸水剂,该吸水剂包含罗望子多糖和水溶性有机物质,该罗望子多糖包括90%或更多的食物纤维、1%或更少的蛋白质和1%或更少的灰分,该水溶性有机物质包括至少一种或多种多元醇和水溶性表面活性剂。
在根据本发明的凝胶型吸水剂中,优选地,罗望子多糖包括92%或更多的食物纤维、0.5%或更少的蛋白质和0.5%或更少的灰分。更优选地,凝胶型吸水剂包含2-50%罗望子多糖和3-50%水溶性有机物质。优选地,凝胶型吸水剂进一步包含挥发性活性成分。优选地,在根据本发明的凝胶型吸水剂中,水溶性有机物质包括至少一种或多种2-5价的多元醇和HLB值为10-20的水溶性表面活性剂。
本发明还提供香料、除臭剂、减湿剂、贴片(patch)和鱼饵,它们包含本发明的凝胶型吸水剂作为基础材料。
罗望子多糖是从罗望子(在包括印度和缅甸的整个东南亚生长的多年生豆类植物)的种子中提取的多糖。一般而言,当加热到80℃或更高时,它们可以完全地溶于水。通常,它们的水溶液几乎具有给定的牛顿粘度,在防酸性、耐热性和抗盐性方面优异,并广泛地用于食品领域。它们已知在糖类例如糖和粟胶状物、或乙醇的存在下形成水性凝胶。然而,一般的罗望子多糖具有低柔韧性的弹性、从水性凝胶排出很多水分、具有弱的吸水性、在保存期间具有显著的凝胶的断裂强度变化。因此,它们还没有大量用作各种工业领域中的材料。此外,它们还没有用作凝胶剂,而是在与具有较佳排水结构的胶状食品和化妆品相关的工业领域中仅用作增湿剂。
本发明的效果
如上,本发明可以提供凝胶型吸水剂,其具有充足的柔韧性和弹性、在保存期间具有较少的凝胶强度变化、具有低的溶胶粘度、具有易加工性、具有极其小的排水量、并具有吸水性和水溶性的功能。根据本发明的凝胶型吸水剂因此具有充足的吸水性。因此,甚至当它用作凝胶剂并排出水分时,在吸水处理之后它可以重新使用。此外,根据本发明的凝胶型吸水剂具有水溶性。因此,当将它抛弃时,它可以溶于水并作为废水处理。
通过这些特性,根据本发明的凝胶型吸水剂可以广泛地在医药、诊疗器械、药材、家用品和家用杂物的工业领域以及建筑材料、农用化学品、饲料、肥料、油漆、油墨、陶瓷、树脂和粘合剂的工业领域中使用。因为它可以自由地成型,所以它可以以各种形状例如球形、正方形、杆状和薄膜状使用。
具体实施方式
下面将详细地描述根据本发明的凝胶型吸水剂。根据本发明的凝胶型吸水剂主要包含罗望子多糖和水溶性有机物质。
首先描述罗望子多糖一本发明凝胶型吸水剂的组分。本发明中所使用的罗望子多糖是包括90%或更多的食物纤维、1%或更少的蛋白质和1%或更少的灰分的罗望子多糖,与通用的罗望子多糖相比其通过除去或降低水不溶性组分而高度纯化。优选地,可以使用包括92%或更多的食物纤维、0.5%或更少的蛋白质和0.5%或更少的灰分的罗望子多糖。所混合的罗望子多糖的量占水性凝胶材料的量优选为2-50%,更优选4-40%,仍然更优选5-20%。
包含在罗望子多糖中的食物纤维的分析方法的实例包括酶重量法(Prosky-AOAC方法)。蛋白质的分析方法的实例包括在食品添加剂的官方编辑物中描述的半微量Kjeldahl法或氮测定法。可以测量在0.5g样品中的氮(N)的重量,然后乘以5.7来测定(0.01N硫酸1ml=0.1401mg N)。灰分的分析方法的实例包括以下在食品添加剂的官方编辑物中描述的一个实例。在这一实例中,收集1g样品,然后温和地加热以碳化,并强烈地加热到500-600℃直到没有发现碳化物并且重量变得恒定,接着测量残余物的量。
在本发明中,具有充足的柔韧性和弹性、在保存期间具有较少的凝胶强度变化、具有低的溶胶粘度、具有易加工性、具有极其小的排水量、并具有吸水性和水溶性的功能的水性凝胶材料可以使用罗望子多糖来获得,其中已将部分或全部的水不溶性组分从该罗望子多糖中分解和/或除去。水不溶性组分的分解通常包括用碱或酸水解和用酶水解,同时其除去包括用吸附剂例如硅藻、石膏粉、活性碳、其它粘土和陶瓷处理,如JP 2003-82003 A中公开的那样。按照该方法纯化的罗望子胶可以商购。例如,可从Nisshin OilliO Ltd.获得的NomCoat EP-2可以用来获得水性凝胶材料,该材料具有以下物理性能:充足的柔韧性和弹性、在保存期间更小的强度变化、更小的排水量和高吸水性和水溶性的功能。使用没有经受上述处理且更少纯化的一般的罗望子胶不能满足在柔韧性、凝胶稳定性、排水量、吸水性和水溶性方面的功能。
下面描述水溶性有机物质一根据本发明的凝胶型吸水剂的组分。本发明中所使用的水溶性有机物质包括至少一种或多种多元醇和水溶性表面活性剂,对它们没有特别的限制,只要它们是市售和分销的。多元醇的实例包括甘醇、二甘醇、聚乙二醇、丙二醇、二丙二醇、三丙二醇、聚乙二醇、三亚甲基二醇、1,2-丁二醇、1,3-丁二醇、己二醇、1,2-戊烷二醇、1,2-己烷二醇、赤丁四醇、甘油、双甘油、三甘油、聚甘油、季戊四醇、二季戊四醇和木糖醇。其中,2-5价的多元醇是优选的。此外,作为其它物质,HLB值为10-20的水溶性表面活性剂的尤其优选的实例可以包括聚甘油脂肪酸酯、聚乙二醇脂肪酸酯、聚氧乙烯烷基酯、聚氧乙烯失水山梨糖醇脂肪酸酯、蔗糖脂肪酸酯和烷基糖苷。这些非常优选与上述多元醇一起使用。如果没有包含上述水溶性有机物质,则产生水溶液而不是凝胶。
为了产生弹性充足的且具有柔韧性、在保存期间更少的强度变化、极其小的排水量和吸水性的功能的凝胶型吸水剂,所混合的水溶性有机物质的总量占水性凝胶材料的量优选为3-50重量%,更优选10-40重量%,进一步更优选20-35重量%。
根据本发明的凝胶型吸水剂形成三维交联结构,该交联结构包括在水溶液或o/w型乳液的液相中溶胀的聚合物。它具有弹性而不像琼脂或明胶的凝胶那样具有流动性,并显示类似固体的性能。在溶胶状态下加热时,根据本发明的凝胶型吸水剂具有低的粘度。因此,对于热不稳定物质或高度易挥发性物质的混合物,可以在没有施加过多热的情况下获得该混合物。此外,从凝胶到溶胶的转变在50℃或以下的温度下发生,该温度是保存温度或在运输过程中几乎不改变状态的温度范围内。因此,它具有广泛的通用性,并可以对香料、除臭剂、贴片、饵和减湿剂产生效果。
优选地,除了罗望子多糖和水溶性有机物质之外,本发明的水性凝胶材料可以进一步包含挥发性活性成分。该挥发性活性成分是挥发而对人类和其它生物施加作用/效果的组分(物质和/或混合物)。例如,它可以包括防水剂、杀虫剂、杀菌剂、除臭剂和香料。
根据物理性能的目的,本发明的水性凝胶材料可以与其它组分混合,例如水溶性聚合物、表面活性剂、呈固态、半固态和液态的油试剂、无机盐、有机盐、防腐剂/抗菌剂、抗氧化剂和香料。其它组分的混合物不会产生问题,只要它没有损害本发明的性能。
水溶性聚合物的数个实例可以包括,但是不对它们加以特别限制,植物聚合物如刺槐豆胶、阿拉伯树胶、瓜尔胶、角叉菜胶、果胶和温柏;微生物聚合物如黄原胶、右旋糖酐、succinoglucan、支链淀粉酶和凝胶多糖;动物聚合物如胶原、酪蛋白和明胶;纤维素聚合物如甲基纤维素、乙基纤维素、羟丙基甲基纤维素和羧基甲基纤维素;乙烯基聚合物如聚乙烯甲醚和羧基乙烯基聚合物;和丙烯酸类聚合物如聚丙烯酸酯、聚甲基丙烯酸酯、聚丙烯酸乙酯和聚丙烯酰胺。

本发明水性凝胶材料的制备方法包括,但对它不加以特别限制:使用搅拌叶片等将罗望子多糖分散在包含水溶性有机物质的水中;然后将它加热到65℃或更高但是小于95℃以便溶解;之后,根据组分的性能在温度(通常40-90℃)下添加所需的混合组分;和将它倒入优选的模具中并冷却至10-30℃而获得水性凝胶材料。根据情况,可以通过在干燥机等中蒸发水分以调节水分的量来获得水性凝胶材料。在极低的温度下应该添加热敏物质如香料、热不稳定物质和挥发物。
根据本发明的凝胶型吸水剂可以用于香料、除臭剂、干燥剂和贴片的基础材料;用于女性、婴儿和老人护理品的卫生用品的吸水树脂;要求生物降解的玩具;和具有生物弹性的仿真材料。
实施例
下面将参照实施例对本发明进行具体描述,这些实施例用来说明本发明而并不希望限制本发明。在以下实施例和对比例中混合物的量用质量百分比(%)来表示。
(1)罗望子多糖的制备
首先,按如下方法对可商购的罗望子多糖(得自DainihonPharmacy:表1中的4号样品)进行加工,获得表1中示出的罗望子多糖。将100克该罗望子多糖的粉末分散在10升水中并加热使其溶解。用活性炭处理该溶液然后精确地过滤。将醇添加到该溶液直到产生沉淀。然后将所得的沉淀干燥并研磨以获得样品。改变所添加的活性炭的量以获得1-3号和5号样品。在本发明实施例中使用1-3号罗望子多糖,而在对比例中使用4号和5号罗望子多糖。

(2)水性凝胶材料的制备
根据表2-4中的混合物组成,将所有组分在25℃下混合并搅拌,同时开始加热,然后在80℃下搅拌它们30分钟使其溶解。获得用于实施例1-9和对比例1-6中的凝胶型吸水剂的溶胶的溶液,各自总量为500g。

(3)溶胶的粘度测量和评价
在(2)中调节的凝胶型吸水剂(实施例1-9和对比例1-6)的溶液经过粘度测量,并将一分钟之后的来自BL型粘度计(得自TokiIndustries)(12rpm,60℃)的读数转变成粘度值。该溶液低于10000mpa·s的粘度使工作容易(容易处理),而30000mpa·s以上的粘度使工作困难。因此,用以下标记评价:○(10000mpa·s以下),△(10000-30000mpa·s),和×(30000mpa·s以上)。这些测量结果和评价在表5和表6中示出。

(4)凝胶的断裂试验和评价
将在(1)中调节的凝胶型吸水剂(实施例1-9和对比例1-6)的溶液部分地倒入深的陪替氏培养皿(60mmφ×60mm)中到稍微溢流的程度,并在25℃下温和地保持24小时而获得水性凝胶材料。之后,用刀具将从该陪替氏培养皿溢出的部分切平而获得样品。使用流变仪(得自ReoTec:FUDOH流变仪D·D系列)评价断裂试验。作为用于直接压缩试验产品的接合器,连接10mm直径的圆板并用来以30cm/分钟的压缩速率压缩试验产品20mm,观察它是否断裂。如果没有断裂则使用标记○,如果断裂,则使用标记×。这些测量的结果和评价在表5和6中示出。
(5)凝胶的保存试验和评价
通过与(3)类似的方法再制备凝胶型吸水剂的两个样品,一个样品在类似的条件下压缩以测量断裂强度。另一个在50℃下保持一星期以使不蒸发水分,然后在25℃下保持24小时以在类似的条件下测量凝胶的断裂强度。与在保存之前的初始值相比,断裂强度的变化率用以下标记来评价:○(0-150%)、△(151-300%)和×(300%之上或0%之下)。这些测量的结果和评价在表5和6中示出。
(6)对水性凝胶材料排水现象的评价
从陪替氏培养皿取出如在(3)中制备的凝胶型吸水剂放入密封的乙烯塑料袋中,该袋能够留下尽可能少的空间以防止水分蒸发,然后在25℃下保持一星期,并进行目测评价。使用吸液管抽吸排出并聚集的水分。用抽吸的水分与凝胶的重量比来评价状态,并用以下标记表示:○(没有排水或1重量%之下)、△(1-10重量%的排水量)和×(相对于水性凝胶材料,10重量%或更多的排水量)。根据本发明的和对比例的产物的测量结果在表2中示出。这些测量的结果和评价在表5和6中示出。
(7)吸水性的测量和评价(水性凝胶材料的吸水性)
从陪替氏培养皿取出如在(3)中制备的凝胶型吸水剂,将它的10g碎片和5g水放入100ml烧杯中。吸水速度由存在/不存在吸水性和一小时之后水分的量来测量。吸收性用以下标记来评价:○(80-100%水分可吸收)、△(10-80%水分可吸收)和×(10%之下水分可吸收或者不可吸收)。根据本发明的和对比例的产物的测量结果和评价在表5和6中示出。
(8)吸水性的测量和评价(对干产物的吸水性的评价)
将在(1)调节的凝胶型吸水剂的溶液各自倒入不锈钢大桶并在40℃下在温度控制室中干燥24小时,以获得呈薄片状的组合物。当添加水以恢复到干燥之前的原始重量时,观察并评价该组合物。结果,将它们如下分类:○,在吸收水之后恢复为凝胶;△,尽管部分地吸收水,但是没有恢复为凝胶;×没有吸收水。根据本发明的和对比例的产物的测量结果和评价在表5和6中示出。
(9)吸水性的测量和评价(水性凝胶材料的可溶性)
从陪替氏培养皿取出如在(3)中制备的凝胶型吸水剂,将它的10g碎片和1000g水放入2L烧杯中。溶解速度由存在/不存在吸水性和一小时之后水分的量来测量。溶解性用以下标记来评价:○(完全溶解)、△(部分地不溶解)和×(不溶解),并对存在/不存在溶解性进行证实。对根据本发明的和对比例的产物的评价在表5和6中示出。
(10)总评价
用以下标记进行总评价:×,即使当各项包括一个×时;△,当包括△时;○,只有当全部都是○时。对根据本发明的和对比例的产物的评价在表5和6中示出。
下面将描述使用本发明的凝胶型吸水剂的其它实施例。
实施例10(香料)
在25℃下用扇型搅拌器搅拌期间,按照表7中所示的组成将罗望子胶逐渐地添加并分散在多元醇中。之后,添加纯化水并开始加热。然后,在80℃下搅拌该溶液30分钟使其溶解。添加除了香精之外的其它组分,然后,在将温度调节至50℃之后添加香精。将该溶液倒入合适的模具并冷却,以获得根据实施例10的凝胶型香料。

接下来评价根据实施例10的香料。对于干制品吸水性,将这一香料保持在25℃下且湿度为50%的房间里2个星期直到重量降到50%。然后,当允许该重量降低的产品通过水分补偿来吸水以恢复原始重量时,它恢复其原始形状。之后,当将它用作香料时,虽然它发挥足以使用的效果,但是该芳香气味比恢复之前稍有降低。在两个星期之后,在完成使用的时候,将它排入水槽的排水孔并以3升/分钟的速度倒水。在30分钟之后,它溶解并消散。发现这一香料在材料性能方面是优异的并可以用作环保商品。当通过与表5和表6类似的评价方法测试该香料时,它通过了所有测试。
实施例11(贴片)
在25℃下用扇型搅拌器搅拌期间,按照表8中所示的组成将罗望子胶逐渐地添加并分散在多元醇中。之后,添加纯化水并开始加热。然后,在80℃下搅拌该溶液30分钟使其溶解。添加并溶解除了薄荷醇外的其它组分,然后,在将温度调低至40℃之后添加薄荷醇。将该溶液倒入合适的模具并冷却,以获得根据实施例11的平贴片薄片。

接下来评价根据实施例实施例11的贴片。对于干制品吸水性,在25℃下且湿度为50%的房间里将这一贴片粘附在人体上保持24小时直到重量降到80%。然后,当允许该重量降低的产品通过水分补偿来吸水以恢复原始重量时,它恢复其原始形状。之后,当将它类似地粘附并使用24小时时,虽然它具有足以使用的冷却效果,但是与恢复之前相比薄荷醇的冷却感觉稍有降低。在完成使用的时候,将它排入水槽的排水孔并以3升/分钟的速度倒水。在10分钟之后,它溶解并消散。发现这一贴片在材料性能方面是优异的并可以用作环保商品。当与这一贴片类似的混合物经过与表3类似的测试(除了干制品吸水性)时,它通过了所有测试。
实施例12(儿童玩具)
在25℃下用风扇型搅拌器搅拌期间,按照表9中示出的组成将罗望子胶逐渐添加并分散在多元醇中。此后,添加纯化水并开始加热。然后,在80℃下搅拌该溶液30分钟使其溶解。添加除颜料外的其它组分并溶解,然后在将温度调低至60℃之后添加薄荷醇。将溶液倒入合适的玩偶模具并冷却,以获得根据实施例12的儿童玩具。

接下来评价根据实施例12的儿童玩具。对于干制品吸水性,在25℃下且湿度为50%的房间里将该儿童玩具放在人体上一星期直到重量降低到60%。然后,当允许该重量降低的产品通过水分补偿来吸水以恢复原始重量时,它恢复其原始形状。此后,当将它再放置一星期并重复两个类似的操作时,它同样地得以恢复。然后,在使它漂浮在浴室内残留的水上12小时之后,它溶解并消散。发现这一玩具具有优异的材料性能并且可以用作环保商品。当与该玩具相似的混合物经过如表5中的相似测试(除干制品吸水性之外)时,它通过了所有测试。
实施例13(鱼饵)
在25℃下用风扇型搅拌器搅拌期间,按照表10中示出的组成将罗望子胶逐渐添加并分散在多元醇中。此后,添加纯化水并开始加热。然后,在80℃下搅拌该溶液30分钟使其溶解。添加除天然色素和引诱剂之外的其它组分并溶解,然后在将温度调低至40℃之后添加天然色素和引诱剂。将溶液倒入合适的模具并冷却,以获得虫状的模制品。之后,在40℃下将它干燥48小时以蒸发大约50%水分,获得根据实施例13的鱼饵。
(罗望子胶的基本含量为12%)。

接下来评价根据实施例13的鱼饵。将这一用于钓具的饵附在鱼钩上,并投进海中没有鱼的鱼塘里。在一小时之后将它拉上来,由于吸水性,测量其重量为原重的两倍,但是在3小时之后完全溶解。发现该饵有优异的材料性能并且可以用作环保商品。然后,将饵投入有鱼的鱼塘中三次,并在3分钟内被鱼咬住。当将相同量的该引诱剂掺入乳酸酯聚合物时,三次需要10分钟或更长时间直到鱼咬住该鱼饵。因此,合适的溶解性使该引诱剂溶出并有助于吸引鱼,这是一个优点。
Claims (10)
1.凝胶型吸水剂,该吸水剂包含罗望子多糖和水溶性有机物质,该罗望子多糖包括90%或更高的食物纤维、1%或更少的蛋白质和1%或更少的灰分,该水溶性有机物质包括至少一种或多种多元醇和水溶性表面活性剂。
2.根据权利要求1的凝胶型吸水剂,其包含罗望子多糖和水溶性有机物质,该罗望子多糖包括92%或更多的食物纤维、0.5%或更少的蛋白质和0.5%或更少的灰分。
3.根据权利要求1或2的凝胶型吸水剂,其包含2-50%的所述罗望子多糖和3-50%的所述水溶性有机物质。
4.根据权利要求1-3中任一项的凝胶型吸水剂,其进一步包含挥发性活性成分。
5.根据权利要求1-4中任一项的凝胶型吸水剂,其中所述水溶性有机物质包括至少一种或多种2-5价的多元醇和HLB值为10-20的水溶性表面活性剂。
6.香料,其包含根据权利要求1-5中任一项的所述凝胶型吸水剂作为基础材料。
7.除臭剂,其包含根据权利要求1-5中任一项的所述凝胶型吸水剂作为基础材料。
8.减湿剂,其包含根据权利要求1-5中任一项的所述凝胶型吸水剂作为基础材料。
9.贴片,其包含根据权利要求1-5中任一项的所述凝胶型吸水剂作为基础材料。
10.鱼饵,其包含根据权利要求1-5中任一项的所述凝胶型吸水剂作为基础材料。
