Abstract

本发明提供一种成形装置,在利用模具的成形装置中,削减制品离模后的模具清扫工序,实现成形周期的缩短,由此实现低成本化。为了达成该目的,本发明的成形装置具备:多组固定模具(1)以及可动模具(2),被加热至成形材料的固化所需要的温度,同时,通过合模彼此会合而形成型腔(C);非加热的冷流道(32),经由开设于可动模具(2)的浇口(22)向型腔(C)内供给来自射出装置(4)的成形材料;固定模具(1)以及可动模具(2)能够在存在有射出装置(4)以及冷流道(32)的射出台(S1)和该射出台(S1)附近的开模台(S2)之间移动。

本发明涉及一种成形装置,用于成形例如像燃料电池单元的衬垫等这样的密封部件。
背景技术
在基板一体型的衬垫的成形中,将基板放置在模具上,向模具型腔内射出由橡胶组合物构成的成形材料,使其在型腔内热固化,由此,得到与基板一体的衬垫。特别地,作为成形燃料电池单元用衬垫的方法,采用将粘度低的液状橡胶作为成形材料使用的冷流道式的LIM(液体注射成型)成形装置。
根据这种冷流道式的LIM成形装置,由于液状橡胶在冷流道内不会固化,因此,能够削减材料的消耗量,从而实现低成本化。此外,作为冷流道式的LIM成形方法的典型的现有技术,存在下述的专利文献中公开的技术。

(发明要解决的问题)
但是,根据现有的冷流道式LIM成形装置,在型腔内的成形材料通过固定模具以及可动模具的热而固化之后进行开模而取出制品,然后,需要清扫开设有浇口的可动模具的下面,去除液状橡胶的固化物(溢料),因此,缩短成形周期较困难。
本发明是鉴于以上的问题而完成的,其技术问题在于,在利用模具的成形装置中,削减制品离模后的模具清扫工序,缩短成形周期,由此,实现低成本化。
(解决技术问题的技术方案)
作为有效解决上述的技术问题的技术方案,本发明技术方案所涉及的成形装置具备:多组固定模具以及可动模具,被加热至成形材料的固化所需要的温度,同时,通过合模彼此会合而形成型腔;非加热的冷流道,经由开设于所述可动模具的浇口向所述型腔内供给来自射出装置的成形材料;存在有所述射出装置以及冷流道的射出台;在该射出台附近对所述固定模具和可动模具进行开模的开模台;所述固定模具以及可动模具能够在所述射出台和所述开模台之间移动。
当利用具备上述构成的成形装置进行成形时,首先,在射出台中,对固定模具和可动模具进行合模,经由冷流道以及浇口向在该固定模具和可动模具的会合面之间形成的型腔内供给来自射出装置的成形材料。由于冷流道是非加热的,因此,来自射出装置的成形材料在冷流道中未固化而被填充至型腔内。
在型腔内的成形材料通过固定模具以及可动模具的热而固化之后,将固定模具以及可动模具向开模台移动并进行开模,取出制品,同时,去除成形材料在可动模具的浇口内通过可动模具的热发生固化而产生的溢料。并且,这样的开模之后的制品取出和溢料从浇口的去除作业不是在射出台而是在开模台进行,因此,能够在射出台中进行将别的固定模具和可动模具进行合模,从而向型腔内供给来自射出装置的成形材料并使其固化的成形工序。
本发明技术方案所涉及的成形装置,在上述的本发明技术方案所记载的构成中,在冷流道上设置有能够从外部进行开闭操作的注入阀。
根据具备上述构成的成形装置,当开模的同时从冷流道分离可动模具(浇口)时闭塞注入阀,由此防止了冷流道内的未固化材料的流下。另外,在合模之后开放注入阀,由此能够向型腔内供给成形材料。
(发明的效果)
根据本发明所涉及的成形装置,由于在射出台的外侧的开模台中进行溢料从可动模具的浇口的去除,因此,不需要射出台中的模具的清扫工序,能够缩短成形工序。

具体实施方式
以下,参照附图对本发明所涉及的成形装置的优选实施方式进行详细说明。
该成形装置为例如图9中所示的将粘度低的液状橡胶用作成形材料来成形燃料电池单元用衬垫6的冷流道式的LIM(液体注射成型)成形装置,其中,该燃料电池单元用衬垫6在燃料电池单元的隔板61上一体地设置有由橡胶状弹性材料(橡胶材料或者具有橡胶状弹性的合成树脂材料)构成的密封部62,如图1所示,该成形装置具备:固定模具1以及能够与其上面会合/分离的可动模具2;冷模构件3,朝向通过转台5的旋转而位于圆周方向规定位置(射出台S1)的可动模具2能够上下进退地配置,在内部形成有成形材料向通过固定模具1以及可动模具2的合模而形成的型腔C的流路(冷流道31);射出装置4,经由所述冷流道31向所述型腔C射出成形材料;转台5,使所述固定模具1以及可动模具2移动。
另外,虽然省略了图示,但是该成形装置还装备有:用于进行可动模具2相对于固定模具1的开模和闭模动作的合模装置、用于进行冷模构件3和射出装置4的升降动作的驱动装置、用于向固定模具1放置插入部件(在该方式中为基板61')的装填装置、制品离模装置、溢料去除装置、对这些动作进行控制的控制装置等。
详细而言,固定模具1固定在转台5上,被加热至液状橡胶的交联固化所需要的温度,在其上面形成有多个凹部11,所述凹部11放置有成为图9中所示的燃料电池单元用衬垫6的隔板61的基板61'。
可动模具2通过未图示的合模装置相对于固定模具1的上面能够升降地配置,与固定模具1一样,被加热至液状橡胶的交联固化所需要的温度,在其下面形成有通过与固定模具1的合模而在与基板61'的上面之间形成型腔C的槽状凹部21和作为液状橡胶向所述型腔C的注入口的浇口(ゲート)22。所述型腔C为用于成形图9中所示的燃料电池单元用衬垫6的密封部62的赋形空间。
如图2所示,在该实施方式中,在固定模具1上放置有两个基板61',因此,在可动模具2的下面也形成有两个成为成形用型腔的槽状凹部21,浇口22在朝向各槽状凹部21(型腔C)的一处彼此对称位置开口。
冷模构件3是非加热的,被保持在作为成形材料的液状橡胶不会交联固化的温度,通过未图示的驱动装置能够升降。贯通该冷模构件3而形成的冷流道31,其上端成为浇口(スプル)31a,在分支为多个而延伸的下游部分别设置有注入阀32,在该注入阀32中,从外部能够开闭操作的下游端的阀浇口与可动模具2的浇口22能够连接。另外,在冷模构件3的下面部,设置有用于防止从可动模具2传热的断热盘33。
射出装置4具有内置有柱塞的射出喷嘴41,其前端与冷模构件3的上面的浇口31a能够密接对合(喷嘴接触),在射出喷嘴41的前端和浇口31a的密接对合状态下,通过所述柱塞的动作,将液状橡胶通过冷流道31、注入阀32以及浇口22向各型腔C射出。
转台5围绕垂直的中心轴O能够旋转,固定模具1以及可动模具2在该转台5上配置有多组,通过转台5的旋转,在射出装置4以及冷模构件3的正下方的射出台S1和位于从该射出台S1围绕所述中心轴O旋转移动规定角度的位置并且用于进行基板61'向固定模具1的上面的凹部11的装填和制品的取出的开模台S2之间移动。因此,当某组的固定模具1和可动模具2位于射出台S1时,其他组的固定模具1和可动模具2位于开模台S2。
接着,对利用具备上述构成的成形装置的成形周期进行说明。首先,如图3所示,在开模台S2中,可动模具2从转台5上的固定模具1向上方离开(开模),在此,首先通过未图示的装填装置进行基板61'向固定模具1的上面的凹部11的放置。
接着,如图4所示,可动模具2通过未图示的合模装置降下,被定位在装填有基板61'的固定模具1上,从而成为闭模状态。由此,在装填于固定模具1的基板61'的上面和可动模具2的槽状凹部21之间,形成用于成形图9中所示的燃料电池单元用衬垫6的密封部62的型腔C。
接着,如图5所示,通过转台5的旋转,固定模具1和可动模具2向射出装置4以及冷模构件3的正下方的射出台S1移送,在此,冷模构件3降下并且接合在可动模具2上。由此,设置于冷流道31的注入阀32的下游端的阀浇口与可动模具2的浇口22连接。
接着,开放注入阀32的阀浇口,同时,通过与冷模构件3的上面的浇口31a密接对合的射出装置4的射出动作,从射出喷嘴41射出作为成形材料的液状橡胶。并且,由于冷模构件3被保持在液状橡胶不会交联固化的温度,因此,如图6所示,从射出喷嘴41射出的液状橡胶不会交联固化,并且通过注入阀32以及浇口22从冷流道31被送向型腔C。
此外,对于作为成形材料的液状橡胶,适合使用通过交联固化而相对于基板61'产生自粘接性的液状橡胶,但是,在使用没有自粘接性的液状橡胶的情况下,预先在基板61'的表面涂布粘接剂。
另外,图5中被涂黑显示的部分L为在上一次的成形周期中残留在冷流道31以及注入阀32内的未固化的液状橡胶,该液状橡胶L在图6中所示的工序中先行于从射出喷嘴41射出的液状橡胶向型腔C填充。
当向型腔C的液状橡胶的填充完成时,注入阀32的下游端的阀浇口被闭塞。因此,型腔C内的液状橡胶被保持在规定的压力。
型腔C内的液状橡胶通过固定模具1以及可动模具2的热而交联固化,成形为与型腔C对应的形状的密封部62,同时,与固定模具1上的基板61'(隔板61)的上面一体化(硫化粘接),开口于型腔C的浇口22内的液状橡胶通过可动模具2的热而交联固化,成为与密封部62连接的溢料63。另一方面,冷模构件3被保持在液状橡胶不会交联固化的温度,同时,通过断热盘33遮断来自可动模具2的热,因此,残留在冷流道31内的液状橡胶不会交联固化而在下次射出时填充至型腔C。
型腔C内的液状橡胶的交联固化所需要的时间过去之后,如图7所示,冷模构件3通过未图示的驱动装置上升,从可动模具2分离。此时,由于注入阀32被闭塞,因此,残留在冷流道31内的未固化的液状橡胶不会漏出从而落下。
接着,通过转台5的旋转,固定模具1以及可动模具2从射出装置4以及冷模构件3的正下方的射出台S1向图1中所示的开模台S2移送,在此,如图8所示,可动模具2通过未图示的合模装置从固定模具1向上方离开而被开模,由此,在可动模具2的浇口22内生成的溢料63从作为被保持在固定模具1侧的制品的燃料电池单元用衬垫6的密封部62分离。
并且,如图9所示,通过未图示的制品离模装置,从固定模具1取出作为在隔板61上一体成形有由橡胶状弹性材料构成的密封部62的制品的燃料电池单元用衬垫6,同时,通过未图示的溢料去除装置,从可动模具2的浇口22去除溢料63。
由于该制品取出工序以及溢料去除工序在如上述的开模台S2中进行,因此不需要射出台S1中的模具清扫工序,如图10所示,在射出台S2中,能够使开模台S2中的制品的离模以及溢料去除和用于下次成形的基板61'的放置作业并行并开始射出工序。因此,能够提高成形周期的效率。
而且,成形之后被去除的仅为在可动模具2的浇口22内产生的溢料63,残留在冷流道31内的液状橡胶未固化,在下次射出时填充至型腔C,因此,最小限度地抑制成形材料的浪费,有助于成本的削减。
权利要求书(按照条约第19条的修改)
1.一种成形装置,其特征在于具备:多组固定模具以及可动模具,被加热至成形材料的固化所需要的温度,同时,通过合模彼此会合而形成型腔;非加热的冷流道,经由开设于所述可动模具的浇口向所述型腔内供给来自射出装置的成形材料;存在有所述射出装置以及冷流道的射出台;在该射出台附近对所述固定模具和可动模具进行开模的开模台;所述固定模具以及可动模具能够在所述射出台和所述开模台之间移动;在所述射出台中在所述型腔内成形的制品和在所述可动模具内成形的溢料在所述开模台中通过开模而分离。
2.根据权利要求1所述的成形装置,其特征在于,在冷流道上设置有能够从外部进行开闭操作的注入阀。

Claims (2)

1.一种成形装置,其特征在于具备:多组固定模具以及可动模具,被加热至成形材料的固化所需要的温度,同时,通过合模彼此会合而形成型腔;非加热的冷流道,经由开设于所述可动模具的浇口向所述型腔内供给来自射出装置的成形材料;存在有所述射出装置以及冷流道的射出台;在该射出台附近对所述固定模具和可动模具进行开模的开模台;所述固定模具以及可动模具能够在所述射出台和所述开模台之间移动。
2.根据权利要求1所述的成形装置,其特征在于,在冷流道上设置有能够从外部进行开闭操作的注入阀。
