本发明涉及润滑脂组合物。
背景技术
磺酸钙复合润滑脂的耐热性、耐水性优异,因此除了用于汽车的发动机周围的滑动部之外,还用于钢铁用途的轧钢机等的轴承、户外使用的设备(例如参照专利文献1、2)。
另一方面,磺酸钙复合润滑脂之类的使用了金属复合皂的金属皂系润滑脂的润滑性优异,但在高温下存在润滑脂结构难以长期维持这一问题。
从而提出了含有有机膨润土和第二增稠剂成分作为增稠剂的润滑脂组合物(例如参照专利文献3)。作为第二增稠剂成分,记载了金属复合皂、聚脲、氟树脂、N-取代对苯二甲酰胺酸金属盐、磺酸钙复合物。根据专利文献3,通过使用有机膨润土与第二增稠剂成分的混合物作为增稠剂,能够提供防锈性、极压性、耐水性以及润滑寿命优异的润滑脂组合物。

然而,即使是上述专利文献3记载的润滑脂组合物,在高温环境下使用时,也无法说能够获得充分的润滑寿命。
因而,本发明的目的在于,提供具有优异的氧化稳定性、即使在高温环境下使用其寿命也长的润滑脂组合物。
用于解决问题的手段
本发明的润滑脂组合物是向润滑脂中配混添加剂而成的润滑脂组合物,其特征在于,前述润滑脂为磺酸钙复合润滑脂,前述添加剂包含高碱性金属磺酸盐和抗氧化剂。
本发明的润滑脂组合物中,前述高碱性金属磺酸盐优选为高碱性碱土金属磺酸盐。
本发明的润滑脂组合物中,前述高碱性金属磺酸盐优选为高碱性磺酸钙。
本发明的润滑脂组合物中,前述抗氧化剂优选为胺系抗氧化剂。
本发明的润滑脂组合物中,前述高碱性金属磺酸盐和前述抗氧化剂优选以组合物总量基准计包含0.2质量%以上且20质量%以下。
本发明的润滑脂组合物中,前述高碱性金属磺酸盐的碱值优选为100mgKOH/g以上。

具体实施方式
本发明的润滑脂组合物的特征在于,其是向润滑脂中配混添加剂而成,前述润滑脂为磺酸钙复合润滑脂,前述添加剂包含高碱性金属磺酸盐和抗氧化剂。以下进行详细说明。
[润滑脂]
本发明的润滑脂组合物中使用的润滑脂为磺酸钙复合润滑脂,其是由基础油和作为增稠剂的磺酸钙复合润滑脂构成的。
[基础油]
作为基础油,没有特别限定,可列举出通常的润滑脂组合物中使用的矿物油、合成油。它们可以单独使用或者以混合物的形式使用。
作为矿物油,可以使用将减压蒸馏、溶剂脱沥青、溶剂提取、加氢裂化、溶剂脱蜡、硫酸清洗、白土静置、加氢精制等适当组合进行精制而得到的矿物油。
构成磺酸钙复合润滑脂的基础油优选为矿物油。另外,矿物油的40℃运动粘度优选为60mm2/s以上。
作为合成油,可列举出烃系合成油、酯系油、醚系油等。
作为烃系合成油,可列举出例如正构烷烃、异构烷烃、聚丁烯、聚异丁烯、1-癸烯低聚物、1-癸烯与乙烯的共低聚物等烯烃系低聚物。
作为芳香族系油,可列举出单烷基苯、二烷基苯等烷基苯;或者单烷基萘、二烷基萘、聚烷基萘等烷基萘等。
作为酯系油,可列举出癸二酸二丁酯、癸二酸-二-2-乙基己酯、己二酸二辛酯、己二酸二异癸酯、己二酸双十三烷基酯、戊二酸双十三烷基酯、甲基·乙酰基蓖麻醇酸酯等二酯油;或者偏苯三酸三辛酯、偏苯三酸三癸酯、均苯四酸四辛酯等芳香族酯油;以及三羟甲基丙烷辛酸酯、三羟甲基丙烷壬酸酯、季戊四醇-2-乙基己酸酯、季戊四醇壬酸酯等多元醇酯油;进而另外,作为多元醇与二元酸·一元酸的混合脂肪酸的寡酯的复合酯油等。
作为醚系油,可列举出聚乙二醇、聚丙二醇、聚乙二醇单醚、聚丙二醇单醚等聚二醇;或者单烷基三苯醚、烷基二苯醚、二烷基二苯醚、五苯醚、四苯醚、单烷基四苯醚、二烷基四苯醚等苯醚油。
[磺酸钙复合润滑脂]
作为增稠剂使用的磺酸钙复合物是将磺酸钙与选自(i)碳酸钙、(ii)二山嵛酸钙、二硬脂酸钙、二羟基硬脂酸钙等高级脂肪酸钙盐、(iii)醋酸钙等低级脂肪酸钙盐、(iv)硼酸钙等中的钙盐(钙皂)组合而得到的。其中,优选的是,以磺酸钙和碳酸钙作为必须成分,并向其中配混从二山嵛酸钙、二硬脂酸钙、二羟基硬脂酸钙、硼酸钙以及醋酸钙中选择的至少2种而成的物质。另外,从增稠效果的观点出发,磺酸钙的碱值优选为50mgKOH/g以上且500mgKOH/g以下、更优选为300mgKOH/g以上且500mgKOH/g以下。具体而言,特别优选为二烷基苯磺酸钙盐。
磺酸钙复合物的含量只要是能够与上述基础油一同形成润滑脂并能够维持润滑脂的范围就没有特别限定,优选为润滑脂总量的15质量%以上且60质量%以下。含量不足15质量%时,难以维持润滑脂状态,超过60质量%时,后述润滑脂组合物变得过硬、无法充分地发挥润滑状态,故不优选。
需要说明的是,磺酸钙复合物可以使另行合成的物质分散于基础油,也可以通过在基础油中合成而分散在基础油中。其中,后一方法容易使磺酸钙复合物良好地分散在基础油中,在工业制造的情况下是有利的。
[添加剂]
如上所述,本发明的润滑脂组合物是向钙复合润滑脂中配混添加剂而成的。作为添加剂,包含高碱性金属磺酸盐和抗氧化剂。
钙复合润滑脂通过高级脂肪酸与低级脂肪酸的组合而使耐热性提高,但存在经时硬化、热硬化的倾向。
本发明的润滑脂组合物中,通过使钙复合润滑脂中包含作为添加剂的高碱性金属磺酸盐和抗氧化剂,能够抑制高温环境下使用时的硬化。另外,通过制成上述构成,能够提高氧化稳定性。
[高碱性金属磺酸盐]
金属磺酸盐是指各种磺酸的金属盐。作为磺酸,有芳香族石油磺酸、烷基磺酸、芳基磺酸、烷基芳基磺酸等,更具体而言,可列举出十二烷基苯磺酸、二月桂基鲸蜡基苯磺酸、固体石蜡取代苯磺酸、聚烷基取代苯磺酸、聚异丁烯取代苯磺酸、以及萘磺酸等。
另外,作为金属,可列举出锂、钠、钙、镁和锌等各种金属。其中,优选为使用了碱土金属的高碱性碱土金属磺酸盐,更优选为使用了钙的高碱性磺酸钙。具体而言,特别优选为高碱性的二烷基苯磺酸钙盐。
高碱性金属磺酸盐的基于JIS K-2501的高氯酸法的碱值优选为100mgKOH/g以上、更优选为300mgKOH/g以上。高碱性金属磺酸盐的碱值不足100mgKOH/g时,有可能无法获得氧化稳定性效果。
高碱性金属磺酸盐可以单独使用一种,或者组合两种以上使用。
高碱性金属磺酸盐的配混量以润滑脂组合物总量基准计优选为0.1质量%以上且10质量%以下、更优选为1质量%以上且5质量%以下。
[抗氧化剂]
作为抗氧化剂,可以使用胺系抗氧化剂、酚系抗氧化剂、硫系抗氧化剂、以及磷系抗氧化剂等。这些抗氧化剂可以单独使用一种,或者组合两种以上使用。
上述各种抗氧化剂之中,胺系抗氧化剂通过与上述高碱性金属磺酸盐组合使用,氧化稳定性进一步提高,即使在高温环境下使用也难以硬化,故而特别优选。
作为胺系抗氧化剂,可列举出例如单辛基二苯基胺、单壬基二苯基胺等单烷基二苯基胺系化合物;4,4’-二丁基二苯基胺、4,4’-二戊基二苯基胺、4,4’-二己基二苯基胺、4,4’-二庚基二苯基胺、4,4’-二辛基二苯基胺、以及4,4’-二壬基二苯基胺等二烷基二苯基胺系化合物;四丁基二苯基胺、四己基二苯基胺、四辛基二苯基胺、以及四壬基二苯基胺等聚烷基二苯基胺系化合物;α-萘基胺、苯基-α-萘基胺、丁基苯基-α-萘基胺、戊基苯基-α-萘基胺、己基苯基-α-萘基胺、庚基苯基-α-萘基胺、辛基苯基-α-萘基胺、以及壬基苯基-α-萘基胺等萘基胺系化合物。
作为酚系抗氧化剂,可列举出例如2,6-二叔丁基-4-甲基苯酚、2,6-二叔丁基-4-乙基苯酚等单酚系化合物;以及,4,4’-亚甲基双(2,6-二叔丁基苯酚)、2,2’-亚甲基双(4-乙基-6-叔丁基苯酚)等二酚系化合物等。
作为硫系抗氧化剂,可列举出例如2,6-二叔丁基-4-(4,6-双(辛硫基)-1,3,5-三嗪-2-基氨基)苯酚、五硫化磷与蒎烯的反应物等硫代萜烯系化合物;以及,二月桂基硫代二丙酸酯、二硬脂基硫代二丙酸酯等二烷基硫代二丙酸酯等。
作为磷系抗氧化剂,可列举出亚磷酸三苯基酯、二乙基[3,5-双(1,1-二甲基乙基)-4-羟基苯基]甲基磷酸酯等。
抗氧化剂的配混量以润滑脂组合物总量基准计优选为0.1质量%以上且10质量%以下、更优选为1质量%以上且5质量%以下。
本发明的润滑脂组合物中使用的添加剂的配混量(高碱性金属磺酸盐与抗氧化剂的总配混量)以润滑脂组合物总量基准计优选为0.2质量%以上且20质量%以下、更优选为2质量%以上且10质量%以下。添加剂的配混量不足0.2质量%时,难以获得效果,即使超过20质量%其效果也会饱和,是不经济的。
本发明的润滑脂组合物中,除了前述高碱性金属磺酸盐和抗氧化剂之外,通过配混规定量的其它添加剂,能够作为润滑脂组合物而用于各种用途。作为其它添加剂,可列举出油性剂、极压剂、清净分散剂、粘度指数改善剂、防锈剂、金属惰化剂、以及消泡剂等。它们可以单独使用1种,或者组合两种以上使用。需要说明的是,根据用途也可以直接使用上述润滑脂组合物而不配混其它添加剂。
作为油性剂,可列举出脂肪族醇、脂肪酸、脂肪酸金属盐等脂肪酸化合物、多元醇酯、脱水脱水山梨糖醇脱水山梨糖醇酯、甘油酯等酯化合物、以及脂肪族胺等胺化合物等。这些油性剂的配混量从配混效果的观点出发以润滑脂组合物总量基准计优选设为0.1质量%以上且30质量%以下、更优选设为0.5质量%以上且10质量%以下。
作为极压剂,可列举出硫系极压剂、磷系极压剂、包含硫和金属的极压剂、包含磷和金属的极压剂。这些极压剂可以单独使用1种,或者组合两种以上使用。作为极压剂,只要在分子中包含硫原子和磷原子中的至少任一者且能够发挥耐载重性、耐磨耗性即可。作为在分子中包含硫的极压剂,可列举出例如硫化油脂、硫化脂肪酸、硫化酯、硫化烯烃、二烃基聚硫化物、噻二唑化合物、烷基硫代氨甲酰化合物、三嗪化合物、硫代萜烯化合物、二烷基硫代二丙酸酯化合物等。
作为包含硫、磷和金属的极压剂,可列举出二烷基硫代氨基甲酸锌(Zn-DTC)、二烷基硫代氨基甲酸钼(Mo-DTC)、二烷基硫代氨基甲酸铅、二烷基硫代氨基甲酸锡、二烷基二硫代磷酸锌(Zn-DTP)、二烷基二硫代磷酸钼(Mo-DTP)、磺酸钠、磺酸钙等。作为分子中包含磷的极压剂,代表性的极压剂为磷酸三甲苯酯等磷酸酯类及其胺盐。这些极压剂的配混量从配混效果和经济性的观点出发以润滑脂组合物总量基准计优选设为0.01质量%以上且30质量%以下、更优选设为0.01质量%以上且10质量%以下。
作为清净分散剂,可列举出金属磺酸盐、金属水杨酸盐、金属酚盐、以及琥珀酰亚胺等。这些清净分散剂的配混量从配混效果的观点出发以润滑脂组合物总量基准计优选设为0.1质量%以上且30质量%以下、更优选设为0.5质量%以上且10质量%以下。
作为粘度指数改善剂,可列举出例如聚甲基丙烯酸酯、分散型聚甲基丙烯酸酯、烯烃系共聚物(例如,乙烯-丙烯共聚物等)、分散型烯烃系共聚物、以及苯乙烯系共聚物(例如,苯乙烯-二烯加氢共聚物等)等。这些粘度指数改善剂的配混量从配混效果的观点出发以润滑脂组合物总量基准计优选设为0.1质量%以上且35质量%以下、更优选设为0.3质量%以上且15质量%以下。
作为防锈剂,可列举出琥珀酸烷基酯、脱水山梨糖醇单酯、羧酸金属皂、烷基胺和单异丙醇胺等烷醇胺等。这些防锈剂的配混量从配混效果的观点出发以润滑脂组合物总量基准计优选设为0.01质量%以上且10质量%以下、更优选设为0.05质量%以上且5质量%以下。
作为金属惰化剂,可列举出苯并三唑、噻二唑等。这些金属惰化剂的配混量从配混效果的观点出发以润滑脂组合物总量基准计优选设为0.01质量%以上且10质量%以下、更优选设为0.01质量%以上且1质量%以下。
作为消泡剂,可列举出甲基硅油、氟代硅油、以及聚丙烯酸酯等。这些消泡剂的配混量从配混效果的观点出发以润滑脂组合物总量基准计更优选设为0.0005质量%以上且0.01质量%以下。
[润滑脂组合物]
本发明的润滑脂组合物中,混合稠度优选为220以上且385以下(基于JIS K2220.7)。混合稠度为220以上时,润滑脂不硬,低温始动性良好。另一方面,混合稠度为385以下时,润滑脂不会过软,润滑性良好。
本发明的润滑脂组合物优选被用于齿轮、增速器、减速器和齿条中的任一者。
实施例
举出实施例和比较例来进一步详细说明本发明,但本发明不受这些记载内容的任何限制。
[实施例1~4、比较例1~4]
如下操作来制作实施例1~4和比较例1~4所示的润滑脂组合物。
[基质润滑脂的制备]
[基质润滑脂1]
将碱值400mgKOH/g的磺酸钙77重量份、40℃运动粘度为90mm2/s的链烷烃系矿物油19重量份、12-羟基硬脂酸3重量份、壬二酸1重量份、异丙醇2重量份、以及蒸馏水5重量份投入容器中,以75℃搅拌2小时。其后,将容器加热至160℃而蒸馏去除异丙醇和蒸馏水。将内容物冷却至常温,制作了磺酸钙复合润滑脂。将其作为基质润滑脂1。将制作时的配混比例示于以下的表1。
[基质润滑脂2]
将碱值400mgKOH/g的磺酸钙74重量份、40℃运动粘度为90mm2/s的链烷烃系矿物油23重量份、12-羟基硬脂酸2重量份、醋酸1重量份、异丙醇2重量份、以及蒸馏水5重量份投入容器中,以75℃搅拌2小时。其后,将容器加热至160℃而蒸馏去除异丙醇和蒸馏水。将内容物冷却至常温,制作了磺酸钙复合润滑脂。将其作为基质润滑脂2。将制作时的配混比例示于以下的表1。
[基质润滑脂3]
将碱值500mgKOH/g的磺酸钙42重量份、40℃运动粘度为90mm2/s的链烷烃系矿物油53重量份、12-羟基硬脂酸4重量份、醋酸1重量份、异丙醇2重量份、以及蒸馏水5重量份投入容器中,以75℃搅拌2小时。其后,将容器加热至160℃而蒸馏去除异丙醇和蒸馏水。将内容物冷却至常温,制作了磺酸钙复合润滑脂。将其作为基质润滑脂3。将制作时的配混比例示于以下的表1。
[基质润滑脂4]
将碱值500mgKOH/g的磺酸钙48重量份、40℃运动粘度为90mm2/s的链烷烃系矿物油46重量份、12-羟基硬脂酸4重量份、壬二酸2重量份、异丙醇2重量份、以及蒸馏水5重量份投入容器中,以75℃搅拌2小时。其后,将容器加热至160℃而蒸馏去除异丙醇和蒸馏水。将内容物冷却至常温,制作了磺酸钙复合润滑脂。将其作为基质润滑脂4。将制作时的配混比例示于以下的表1。
[基质润滑脂5]
将40℃运动粘度为90mm2/s的链烷烃系矿物油77.2重量份、12-羟基硬脂酸13.5重量份、壬二酸5重量份、以及氢氧化锂一水合物4.3重量份、水20重量份投入容器中,以95℃搅拌2小时。其后,将容器加热至160℃而蒸馏去除异丙醇和蒸馏水。将内容物冷却至常温,制作了锂复合润滑脂。将其作为基质润滑脂5。将制作时的配混比例示于以下的表2。
[基质润滑脂6]
将40℃运动粘度为90mm2/s的链烷烃系矿物油89.8重量份、二苯基甲烷-4,4’-二异氰酸酯5.1重量份、以及辛胺5.1重量份投入容器中,以75℃搅拌2小时。其后,将容器加热至160℃。将内容物冷却至常温,制作了脲润滑脂。将其作为基质润滑脂6。将制作时的配混比例示于以下的表2。
※1)碱值为400mgKOH/g的磺酸钙
※2)碱值为500mgKOH/g的磺酸钙
※3)40℃运动粘度为90mm2/s的链烷烃系矿物油。
需要说明的是,各基质润滑脂的各特性按照下述方法来测定。
将基质润滑脂的评价结果示于上述表1、2。
(1)混合稠度
基于JIS K 2220.7来测定。
(2)滴点
基于JIS K 2220.8中规定的试验方法来测定。
[润滑脂组合物的制备]
使用所得基质润滑脂1~6中任一项的基质润滑脂,以使胺系抗氧化剂、碱值400mgKOH/g的磺酸钙相对于基质润滑脂以组合物总量基准计达到以下表3所示比例的方式进行混合,制成润滑脂组合物。
※1)碱值为400mgKOH/g的磺酸钙
※2)碱值为500mgKOH/g的磺酸钙
※4)胺系抗氧化剂(4,4’-二异壬基二苯基胺)。
润滑脂组合物的各特性按照下述方法来测定。将润滑脂组合物的评价结果示于上述表3、4和以下的表5。
[评价方法]
针对实施例1~4和比较例1~4的润滑脂组合物,将各自的润滑脂组合物投入175℃的恒温槽中,在恒温槽内暴露恒定时间后,从恒温槽中取出润滑脂组合物,评价物性。
(1)混合稠度
基于JIS K 2220.7来测定。
(2)酸值
基于JIS K 2501来测定。
(3)碱值
基于JIS K 2501来测定。
(4)摩擦特性(摩擦系数)
针对实施例4和比较例2~4的润滑脂组合物,准备了刚制作后的状态(新品)。另外,将实施例3和比较例1的润滑脂组合物投入175℃的恒温槽中,准备了在恒温槽内暴露480小时的样品。
并且,使用球盘型往返运动摩擦试验机(Optimol Lubrication制造、SRV型),在载重为50N、频率为50Hz、温度为室温、滑动速度为30mm2/s、冲程为1mm、测定时间为60分钟的条件下测定摩擦系数。球的材质为52100Steel、HRC=60±2、Ra=0.025±0.005μm,球的直径为10mm,盘的材质为52100Steel、φ24mm、厚度7.85mm、HRC=60±2、Rz=0.5μm。
由表3、4明确可知:本发明的向基质润滑脂中组合使用胺系抗氧化剂和高碱性磺酸钙的实施例1~4中,即使以175℃暴露720小时,稠度也基本上不变化,保持了润滑脂状态。进而,与比较例1、2相比,酸值的上升也少。
另一方面,向基质润滑脂中仅添加了胺系抗氧化剂的比较例1、2中,以175℃长时间暴露时会变硬、稠度无法测定。另外可知:酸值的上升大、氧化加剧。另外,未使用磺酸钙复合润滑脂作为基质润滑脂的比较例3、4中,以175℃长时间暴露时,变为固体状、稠度无法测定。
由表5明确可知:本发明的向由磺酸钙复合润滑脂构成的基质润滑脂中组合使用作为添加剂的胺系抗氧化剂和高碱性磺酸钙的实施例4中,无论在新品状态下还是以175℃加热了480小时,均保持了良好的润滑性。
另一方面,向由磺酸钙复合润滑脂构成的基质润滑脂中仅添加了作为添加剂的胺系抗氧化剂的比较例2、未使用作为基质润滑脂的磺酸钙复合润滑脂的比较例3、4中,虽然新品状态下的润滑性良好,但以175℃加热480小时时,润滑脂组合物变硬、润滑性也会恶化而导致发生烧结的结果。
产业利用性
本发明的润滑脂组合物适合用作在齿轮、增速器、减速器和齿条的任一者中使用的润滑脂组合物。
Claims (9)
1.润滑脂组合物,其为向润滑脂中配混添加剂而成的润滑脂组合物,其特征在于,
所述润滑脂为磺酸钙复合润滑脂,
所述添加剂包含高碱性金属磺酸盐和抗氧化剂。
2.根据权利要求1所述的润滑脂组合物,其特征在于,
所述高碱性金属磺酸盐为高碱性碱土金属磺酸盐。
3.根据权利要求1或权利要求2所述的润滑脂组合物,其特征在于,
所述高碱性金属磺酸盐为高碱性磺酸钙。
4.根据权利要求1~权利要求3中任一项所述的润滑脂组合物,其特征在于,
所述抗氧化剂为胺系抗氧化剂。
5.根据权利要求1~权利要求4中任一项所述的润滑脂组合物,其特征在于,
所述高碱性金属磺酸盐和所述抗氧化剂以组合物总量基准计包含0.2质量%以上且20质量%以下。
6.根据权利要求1~权利要求5中任一项所述的润滑脂组合物,其特征在于,
所述高碱性金属磺酸盐的碱值为100mgKOH/g以上。
7.根据权利要求1~权利要求6中任一项所述的润滑脂组合物,其特征在于,
构成所述磺酸钙复合润滑脂的基础油为矿物油,所述矿物油的40℃运动粘度为60mm2/s以上。
8.根据权利要求1~权利要求7中任一项所述的润滑脂组合物,其特征在于,
该组合物的混合稠度为220以上且385以下。
9.根据权利要求1~权利要求8中任一项所述的润滑脂组合物,其特征在于,
该组合物被用于齿轮、增速器、减速器以及齿条中的任一者。
