Abstract
本发明提供一种滚动轴承装置。将芯骨的圆筒部的内径设定为与外圈过盈配合的大小。将芯骨的圆筒部的端部内周面的直径设定为比与外圈嵌合的部分的直径大。弹性密封件具有与芯骨的圆筒部的外周面密合的圆筒部、以及与该圆筒部相连的折回部。折回部被夹持在芯骨的圆筒部的端部内周面与外圈外周面之间而压缩变形。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及滚动轴承装置,特别是涉及具备密封装置的滚动轴承装置。
背景技术
在如汽车所使用的车轮用轴承装置那样地在水容易从外部侵入的条件下被使用的用途中,使用具备密封装置的滚动轴承装置。在日本特开2007-177814号公报中,作为这样的具备密封装置的滚动轴承装置,具备外圈、内圈、多个滚动体以及设置于两圈端部间的至少任意一方的密封装置。关于密封装置,提出了由芯骨和弹性密封件构成的装置。上述芯骨具有与外圈的外周面嵌合的圆筒部。弹性密封件安装于上述芯骨。
在日本特开2007-177814号公报的滚动轴承装置中,通过芯骨的圆筒部与外圈过盈配合来防止水从嵌合部分侵入。然而,由于芯骨是通过冲压加工而形成的部件,所以存在精度不足的情况,所以在嵌合时,存在圆筒部变形为喇叭状从而圆筒部的端部成为浮起的状态的情况。在该情况下,会产生嵌合部分的防水性降低的问题。
发明内容
本发明的目的之一在于提供使密封装置的芯骨与外圈的嵌合部分的防水性提高的滚动轴承装置。
本发明的一个方式的滚动轴承装置,其特征在于,所述滚动轴承装置具备外圈、内圈、多个滚动体以及设置于两圈端部间的至少一方的密封装置,密封装置由具有与外圈的外周面嵌合的圆筒部的芯骨、以及安装于该芯骨的弹性密封件构成,将芯骨的圆筒部的内径设定为与外圈过盈配合的大小,将该圆筒部的端部内周面的直径设定为比与外圈嵌合的部分的直径径大,弹性密封件具有与芯骨的圆筒部的外周面密合的圆筒部、以及与该圆筒部相连的折回部,折回部被夹持在芯骨的圆筒部的端部内周面与外圈外周面之间而压缩变形。

具体实施方式
参照以下附图对本发明的实施方式进行说明。
图1以及图2表示本发明所涉及的滚动轴承装置的第一实施方式。
滚动轴承装置1被适当地使用于汽车用的轮毂单元等。
上述滚动轴承装置1具有外圈2、内圈3、多个圆锥滚子(滚动体)4、保持架5以及密封装置6、7。上述圆锥滚子4在外圈2与内圈3之间配置为两列。上述保持架5保持多个圆锥滚子4。上述密封装置6、7分别配置在外圈2与内圈3之间的内侧(inboard)以及外侧。在内圈3的外侧设置有用于安装车轮的凸缘8。在外圈2设置有用于安装于车体侧的转向节的凸缘9。
在内圈3的两个端部形成有承接圆锥滚子4的大凸缘部3a、3b。外侧凸缘8以与外圈2的外侧端面之间隔开一些间隙的方式从内圈3的外侧凸缘部3b附近向径向外侧延伸。
内侧的密封装置6形成为所谓的充填密封件,并且被嵌入于外圈2的内周面与内圈3的外周面之间。外侧的密封装置7形成为嵌入于外圈2的外周面的类型。
图2表示作为本发明所涉及的滚动轴承装置1的主要部分的外侧的密封装置7。
密封装置7具备安装于外圈2的剖面近似L字状的芯骨11、以及安装于芯骨11的弹性密封件12。
芯骨11具有嵌合于外圈2的外周面的圆筒部21、以及从圆筒部21的轴向外侧端部向径向内侧延伸的圆板部22。
芯骨11的圆筒部21的内径形成为与外圈2过盈配合的大小。上述圆筒部21的内侧端部内周面21a的直径形成为,比与外圈2嵌合的圆筒部21的外侧内周面的直径大。
芯骨11的圆板部22由外侧圆板部22a、锥形部22b、以及内侧圆板部22c形成。上述外侧圆板部22a与外圈2的端面抵接。上述锥形部22b与外侧圆板部22a的径向内侧缘部相连,向轴向内侧且径向内侧延伸。上述内侧圆板部22c与锥形部22b的径向内侧缘部相连,并向径向内侧延伸。
弹性密封件12具有圆板部31、圆筒部32、两个径向唇部33、34、轴向唇部35、以及迷宫式唇部36。上述圆板部31以与芯骨11的圆板部22密合的方式设置。上述圆筒部32以与芯骨11的圆筒部21密合的方式设置。上述径向唇部33、34设置于圆板部31的径向内侧缘部。上述轴向唇部35以及迷宫式唇部36设置于圆板部31的轴向外侧部分。
两个径向唇部33、34隔开少许间隙地面对内圈3的外周面。轴向唇部35与内圈3的外侧凸缘8滑动接触。迷宫式唇部36在轴向唇部35的径向外侧,隔开少许间隙地面对内圈3的外侧凸缘8。也可以使两个径向唇部33、34中的一个或者两个与内圈3的外周面滑动接触。另外,也可以使迷宫式唇部36与内圈3的外侧凸缘8滑动接触。
在弹性密封件12还设置有折回部37和环形凸部38。上述折回部37与圆筒部32的轴向内侧端部相连。上述环形凸部38在折回部37的基部向径向内侧突出。折回部37形成为从凸缘部32a向轴向外侧延伸的圆筒状,该凸缘部32a从圆筒部32的端部向径向内侧延伸。
通过向径向内侧折回圆筒部32的外侧端部,从而将折回部37嵌入于端部内周面21a。折回部37的嵌入于外圈2之前的厚度比在芯骨11的端部内周面21a与外圈2的外周面2a之间形成的间隙的大小大。由此,折回部37以被夹持在芯骨11的圆筒部21的端部内周面21a与外圈2的外周面2a之间而压缩变形的状态与芯骨11的端部内周面21a以及外圈2的外周面2a密合。
在外圈2的与折回部37的基部对应的位置形成有截面为圆弧状的环形槽10。环形凸部38的嵌入于外圈2之前的厚度比环形槽10的大小大。由此,使环形凸部38压缩变形而与形成于外圈2的环形槽10嵌合。
在图2中,环形槽10不限定为截面为圆弧状,另外,不限定在与折回部37的基部对应的位置。例如,如图3所示,也可以将环形槽10形成为截面为方形的环形槽20,并且能够使折回部39整体嵌入于环形槽10,折回部39的前端面与环形槽20的侧面(阶梯部)抵接。该情况下的折回部39的嵌入于外圈2之前的厚度比在芯骨11的端部内周面21a与环形槽20的底面之间形成的间隙的大小大。由此,折回部39以被夹持在芯骨11的圆筒部21的端部内周面21a与环形槽20的底面之间而压缩变形的状态与芯骨11的端部内周面21a以及环形槽20的底面(外圈2的外周面)密合。
此外,在上述说明中,设置于弹性密封件12的唇部为两个径向唇部33、34、一个轴向唇部35、以及一个轴向的迷宫式唇部36,但是不限定于此。另外,也可以不设置环形槽20而将环形凸部38按压于外圈2的外周面使之密合。
根据本发明的滚动轴承装置,将芯骨的圆筒部的端部内周面设定为比嵌入于外圈的部分的直径大,弹性密封件具有被夹持在芯骨的圆筒部的端部内周面与外圈外周面之间而压缩变形的折回部,所以能够提高芯骨以及外圈与弹性密封件的密合性,从而针对水侵入提高防水效果。
Claims (3)
1.一种滚动轴承装置,其特征在于,
所述滚动轴承装置具备外圈、内圈、多个滚动体以及设置于两圈端部间的至少一方的密封装置,
密封装置由具有与外圈的外周面嵌合的圆筒部的芯骨、以及安装于该芯骨的弹性密封件构成,
将芯骨的圆筒部的内径设定为与外圈过盈配合的大小,将该圆筒部的端部内周面的直径设定为比与外圈嵌合的部分的直径大,
弹性密封件具有与芯骨的圆筒部的外周面密合的圆筒部、以及与所述圆筒部相连的折回部,折回部被夹持在芯骨的圆筒部的端部内周面与外圈外周面之间而压缩变形。
2.根据权利要求1所述的滚动轴承装置,其特征在于,
在外圈的与芯骨的圆筒部的端面对应的位置形成有环形槽,
弹性密封件还具有被嵌合于所述环形槽而压缩变形的环形凸部。
3.根据权利要求1所述的滚动轴承装置,其特征在于,
在外圈的与芯骨的圆筒部的端面对应的位置形成有环形槽,
弹性密封件的折回部以其前端与环形槽的侧面抵接的方式嵌入于环形槽而压缩变形。
