Claims (2)
- 車両インナー側の車両固定部材に接続される外輪と、車両アウター側の車輪に接続されるハブフランジを有する内輪と、前記内輪と前記外輪との間に介在される転動体と、少なくとも車両アウター側に設けられ、前記内輪と前記外輪との間を外部からシールする密封装置と、を備えた転がり軸受装置であって、
前記外輪の車両アウター側の一端面は、前記ハブフランジの側面と対向配置され、このハブフランジの側面と前記外輪の一端面との間には、所定の隙間が設けられるとともに、前記外輪の内周面と前記外輪の一端面との間に面取部が設けられ、
前記密封装置は、前記外輪の内周面に圧入嵌装される芯金を有し、該芯金は、前記ハブフランジに対して摺動自在となしたゴム状弾性部材からなるアキシャルリップを有し、かつ前記芯金には、前記外輪の内周面に圧入嵌装される芯金筒部の車両アウター側から折り曲げられ、前記隙間を通って前記外輪の外径よりも外方に伸びる外フランジ部が形成され、該外フランジ部と前記ハブフランジの側面とによってラビリンスシール部が形成されるとともに、前記芯金の表面には、防錆被膜が形成され、その防錆被膜が弾性変形することにより前記面取部が埋められ、
前記芯金における芯金筒部の車両インナー側から折り曲げられ、前記内輪側へ延びる内フランジ部には当接面が形成され、この芯金を外輪に圧入嵌装する際、前記芯金筒部が圧入嵌装される前記外輪の内周面と連続形成される受端面に、前記当接面を当接させることを特徴とする転がり軸受装置。 - 前記芯金が前記外輪に圧入嵌装された状態で、外気と接触する外部露出表面には、防錆被膜を形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の転がり軸受装置。
