Claims (1)
- 車両インナー側の車両固定部材に接続される外輪と、車両アウター側の車輪に接続されるハブフランジを有する内輪と、前記内輪と前記外輪との間に介在される転動体と、少なくとも車両アウター側に設けられ、前記内輪と前記外輪との間を外部からシールする密封装置と、を備えた転がり軸受装置であって、
前記外輪の車両アウター側の一端面は、前記ハブフランジの側面と対向配置され、このハブフランジの側面と前記外輪の一端面との間には、所定の隙間が設けられ、
前記密封装置は、前記外輪の内周面に圧入嵌装される芯金を有し、該芯金には、前記外輪の内周面に圧入嵌装される芯金筒部の車両アウター側から折り曲げられ、前記隙間を通って前記外輪の外径よりも外方に伸びる外フランジ部が形成され、該外フランジ部には、先端側が前記外方に延び、前記ハブフランジ側に指向するアキシャルリップが設けられ、前記アキシャルリップと同じ材質である防錆被膜がさらに形成され、前記芯金が圧入嵌装される前記外輪の内周面と前記外輪の一端面との間に形成された面取部に、前記防錆被膜が弾性変形することにより前記面取部を埋めるように嵌装され、該アキシャルリップの先端側と前記ハブフランジの側面とによってラビリンスシール部が形成され、前記芯金における芯金筒部の車両インナー側から折り曲げられ、前記内輪側へ延びる内フランジ部には当接面が形成され、この芯金を外輪に圧入嵌装する際、前記芯金筒部が圧入嵌装される前記外輪の内周面と連続形成される受端面に、前記当接面を当接させ、
前記アキシャルリップはゴム状弾性部材からなり、その先端側が弾性変形自在となすように、その基端部側が外フランジ部に固定され、前記アキシャルリップの先端側は先細り状に形成され、
前記密封装置はラジアルリップを備え、該ラジアルリップは、前記内輪の直軸形態の外周面に摺接自在となしたことを特徴とする転がり軸受装置。
