技术领域
大体来说,本发明涉及无线通信,且除其他以外,尤其涉及无线通信系统的信道信息反馈。 
背景技术
正交分频多址(OFDMA)系统利用正交频分多路复用(OFDM)。OFDM是一种多载波调制技术,其将整个系统带宽划分成多个(N)正交频率副载波。还可将这些副载波称为音调、频段及频率信道。每一副载波均与可使用数据对其进行调制的相应副载波相关联。在每一OFDM符号周期中,可将多达N个调制符号发送于总共N个副载波上。用N点快速傅立叶逆变换(IFFT)将这些调制符号转换至时域以产生包含N个时域片或样本的经变换符号。 
在跳频(FH)通信系统中,在不同时间间隔期间(可将称为“跳频周期”)将数据传输于不同的频率副载波上。可通过正交频分多路复用或其它多载波调制技术或某些其它构造来提供这些多载波。对于跳频来说,数据传输以伪随机方式从一个副载波跳跃到另一个副载波。这种跳跃可提供频率分集,并可使数据传输能够更好地抵挡诸如窄频干扰、拥塞、衰落等不利的路径效应。 
所有通信系统中都必须处理的一个问题是:可针对每一接入终端机使用多种传输技术中的不同传输技术。此外,接入终端机可与多个基站进行通信。所有这些排列都需要大量的反馈以便进行完整的报告。
因此,人们希望能够提供关于多个传输模式使用及关于与多个基站通信的反馈,而同时使将所述反馈从接收机提供至发射机所需的资源最小化。 
发明内容
本发明所提供的一个或多个方面可使不同扇区具有不同的反向链路报告类型。此外,所述报告类型可包括与接入终端机的正向链路传输类型相关的指令。所述报告类型还可与在所述接入终端机处正使用或正希望使用的调度模式相关。 
应理解,根据以下只以举例说明方式显示及阐述本发明只为例示性的方面的详细说明,所属技术领域的技术人员将明白本发明的其他方面。应认识到,本文所揭示的方面可还具有其它及不同的方面,且可从各个方面对其若干细节实施修改,此均不脱离本发明的范围。

具体实施方式
参照图1,图解说明根据一个方面的多址无线通信系统。多址无线通信系统100包括多个小区,例如小区102、104及106。在图1的方面中,每一小区102、104及106可包括一个包含多个扇区的接入点142、144或146。所述多个扇区由若干天线群组形成,每一天线组各自负责与所述小区的一部分中的接入终端机进行通信。在小区102中,天线群组112、114及116分别对应于不同的扇区。在小区102中,天线群组118、120及122各自对应于不同的扇区。在小区106中,天线群组124、126及128各自对应于不同的扇区。 
每一小区包括数个接入终端机,所述接入终端机可与每一接入点的一个或多个扇区进行通信。例如,接入终端机130及132与接入点142进行通信,接入终端机134及136与接入点144进行通信,且接入终端机138及140与接入点146进行通信。如本文中使用,来自接入点的传输被称为正向链路,而去往所述接入点的传输被称为反向链路。

拟报告至FLSS或任一其他扇区的实际控制信道消息以及其传输的频率及定时是基于来自FLSS或所述其他扇区的指令。所述指令可包括待发射控制信道的类型以及 其在帧、频率方面的定时,且可将传输的数量包含在所述指令或额外指令中。此外,可从一个或多个扇区提供对于单个实例报告的请求。此外,每一指令可构成对报告一个或多个控制信道类型的请求,所述一个或多个控制信道类型可具有相同或不同的报告要求。 
应注意,接入终端机可将其全部的控制信道消息传输至所述FLSS,无论所述控制信道消息应用于哪一个扇区或接入点。此外,所述接入终端机可将所述控制信道消息传输至所述控制信道消息的具体目标扇区。另外,可针对不同的扇区使用这些方法的组合。

本文所述传输技术还可用于各种无线通信系统,例如,CDMA系统、TDMA系统、FDMA系统、正交频分多址(OFDMA)系统、单载波FDMA(SC-DMA)系统等等。OFDMA系统利用正交频分多路复用(OFDM),其是一种将系统总带宽分割成多(K)个正交副载波的调制技术。所述副载波也称为音调、频段等等。通过OFDM,可使用数据独立地调制每一副载波。SC-FDMA系统可利用:交错DMA(IFDMA)以在分布于系统带宽上的副载波上传输、本地化FDMA(LFDMA)以在毗邻副载波区块上传输、或增强FDMA(EFDMA)以在多个毗邻副载波区块上传输。一般来说,通过OFDM在频域中及通过SC-FDMA在时域中发送调制符号。

接入终端机可使用R-CQICH将不同扇区的正向链路信道质量(例如,经量化的CQI值)传输至接入网络、RLSS或其活动组中的任一其他所能传输到的扇区。R-SFCH是接入终端机可用来传输针对FLSS的副载波段所量测的正向链路信道质量的反馈信道。R-BFCH是接入终端机用来传输波束及附加CQI或完整CQI以启用SDMA、预编码、波束形成或其组合的反馈信道。R-PICH可为宽带导频信道。接入终端机可使用R-REQCH来请求资源。接入终端机可使用R-ACKCH来确认正向链路传输。 
在某些方面中,可指令接入终端机传输FLSS控制段上的如下至少一者:R-CQICH、R-BFCH,R-SFCH、R-PICH、R-REQCH及R-ACKCH。另外,可指令接入终端机以仅传输每一为非同步子组中成员的扇区的控制段上的R-CQICH。对于那些是FLSS或RLSS同步子组中成员的扇区,可为任一信道提供所述指令,然而,报告可受到是否产生足够量测结果的能力的约束。此外,在大多数方面中,向同步子组中成员的报告可局限于R-CQICH。

所述R-REQCH消息可局限于那些不具有反向链路信道指派的接入终端机、处于越区切换状态的接入终端机、或那些需要额外或不同反向链路资源的接入终端机。来自不同接入终端机或不同时间处的R-REQCH消息可使用置乱或其他正交代码以在相同副载波及时间资源上多路复用接入终端机。 
经由所述R-CQICH提供的信息可用于很多目的,其中包括(例如):速率预测、正向链路功率控制、波束选择、预编码加权调节及以各种正向链路传输模式进行调度。另外,在某些方面中,当扇区并非为FLSS时,R-CQICH的信息可通过传输从其导频接收来的信道信息,从而指示越区切换至另一扇区的请求。在某些方面中,取决于CQI报告的类型,R-CQICH中所包含的信道信息可有所不同。取决于CQI报告模式,每一接入终端机可支持多种CQI报告格式。 
可基于从接入网络商定或另外由接入网络所指令的经指令报告模式来设定接入终端机的信道反馈报告模式。接入终端机的报告模式可为如下一者或某一其他模式:单代码字CQI报告模式(CQISCW)、多址字CQI报告模式(CQMCW)或SISO CQI报告模式(CQISISO)。 
此外,还包含其他的报告模式,例如,那些与具体传输类型(例如,SDMA、预编码、波束形成或其组合)有关的报告模式。在这类情况下,将使用与所述模式有关并然后报告CQICH(如果经指令)的控制信道的组合来报告这些模式。

针对CQICH或SFCH所报告的CQI值可以是基于任何由于预编码、SDMA、波束形成或其任一组合的缘故而引起或由其所提供的增益而计算出的CQI。接入终端机可基于其当前正向链路传输模式、期望的传输模式或所指派的传输模式来选择用于计算所述CQI的因子。在某些情况下,可从CQI的计算中排出来自SDMA的任何增益。可对CQI进行计算(尽管并非需要)以实现在擦除率及错误率方面的目标性能。

接入终端机可在既定反向链路帧中传输一个以上反向链路控制信道。例如,所述接入终端机可在同一反向链路帧中传输R-CQICH、R-SFCH及R-BFCH。 
所述接入终端机可在控制段中传输导频信道(PICH)。除上述某些或全部信道信息报告之外,还可使用这个导频序列,或可使用这个导频序列来替代上述某些或全部信道信息报告,以实现自适应传输,例如,反向链路优选副载波或段调度及TDD系统中的SDMA。
所有反向链路控制信道的可用性、其平均传输间隔及模式可在扇区或专用接入终端机的基础上变动。如果由于所述控制段被约束而导致这些信道中的一个不可用,则所述接入点可选择启用通过较高层消息的特定接入终端机信道的消息或所述数据段中的消息。 
在某些情况下,上述消息占据若干个调制符号。在专用于信道信息传输的正交资源的情况下,例如,需要通过使用不同的代码或OFDM符号,将所述符号的数量扩充导频符号的数量。最后,可在反向链路上复制这些符号以提供信道及干扰分集。 
上述格式为例示性,且可具有不同的位大小、格式、组合等等。此外,报告为CQI的值可为经量化的值或为原始值。 
对于每一反向链路帧,接入终端机可在RLSS控制段上的每一CQICH上同时发送至多一个CQICH报告。对于每一反向链路帧,接入终端机可在其活动组中的每一扇区上的每一CQICH上发送至多一个CQICH。然而,取决于接入终端机的资源及传输率,可使用向RLSS及活动组成员报告消息的其他频率。 
所述接入终端机确定哪些同步子组来发送CQICH。接入终端机可对具有不同定时的每一扇区应用不同的规则,因为其是从与活动组中的一个或多个其他扇区(其活动组中的其他扇区取决于反向链路控制信道的类型)不同的源来接收其定时,所以CQI值可指示与接入终端机正报告的传输类型有关的信息。如果正在使用量化,则所述接入终端机可报告最高的列表CQI值,以实现提早的分组中止及所期望的系统解码错误率。 
如果期望针对优选的副载波段或副载波调度所述接入终端机,则可遵循如下的报告结构。所述接入终端机仅将SFCH信道传输至反向链路服务扇区,但如果其可有效地从其活动组中的另一扇区中确定广播导频,则其还可将此提供至其他的扇区,尤其在所述接入终端机正在请求越区切换或处于越区切换状态的情况下。 
参照图4,其中图解说明多址无线通信系统中发射机及接收机的一个方面。在发射系统210中,将若干个数据流的业务数据从数据源412提供至发射(TX)数据处理器214。在一个方面中,每一数据流都通过各自的发射天线发射。TX数据处理器414基于针对彼数据流所选定的特定编码方案来格式化、编码及交错每一数据流的业务数据以提供经编码的数据。在某些方面中,TX数据处理器414基于所述符号所正发射至的使用者及正发射出所述符号的天线来对数据流的符号应用波束成形加权。在某些方面中,可基于接收系统450处产生且作为反馈提供至发射机系统410的本征波束向量来产生所述波束成形加权。此外,在经调度传输的情况下,TX数据处理器214可基于从使用者传输的秩信息来选择分组格式。 
可使用OFDM技术通过导频数据来多路复用每一数据流的编码数据。导频数据通常是以已知方式加以处理的已知数据图案并可在接收系统处用于估计信道响应。然 后,基于针对所述数据流选定的特定调制方案(例如,BPSK、QSPK、M-PSK或M-QAM)来调制每一数据流的经多路复用导频及经编码数据。可通过处理器430所执行或提供的指令来确定每一数据流的数据率、编码及调制。如上所述,在某些方面中,根据从使用者传输来的秩信息,一个或多个流的分组格式可有所不同。 
然后,将所有数据流的调制符号提供至TX MIMO处理器420,TX MIMO处理器420可进一步处理所述调制符号(例如,用于OFDM)。然后,TX MIMO处理器420将NT个调制符号流提供至NT个发射机(TMTR)422a至422t。在某些方面中,TX MIMO处理器420基于所述符号所正发射至的使用者及正从所述使用者信道响应信息发射所述符号的天线,将波束成形加权、固定或接入终端机专用或预编码的加权施加至所述数据流的符号。

在接收系统450处,NR个天线452a至452r接收发射的经调制信号,且将从每一天线452接收的信号提供至各自的接收机(RCVR)454。每一接收机454均调节(例如,滤波、放大及下变频)各自接收的信号,使经调节的信号数字化以提供样本,并进一步处理所述样本以提供对应的“接收”符号流。 
然后,RX数据处理器460从NR个接收机454接收NR个符号流并基于特定接收机处理技术对所述经接收的符号流进行处理,以提供NT个“经检测”符号流。下文将进一步详细阐述RX数据处理器460所进行的处理。每一经检测符号流均包括若干符号,所述符号是针对对应数据流所发射调制符号的估计值。RX数据处理器460然后解调、解交错及解码每一所检测的符号流,以恢复数据流的业务数据。RX数据处理器260所进行的处理与发射系统410处的TX MIMO处理器420及TX数据处理器414所实施的处理互补。 
可使用RX处理器460所产生的信道响应估计以实施接收机处的空间/时间处理,调节功率水平,改变调制速率或方案及/或实施其他动作。RX处理器460可进一步估计经检测信号流的信噪和干扰比(SNR)及可能地其他的信道特性,且将这些量提供至处理器470。RX数据处理器460或处理器470可进一步获得所述系统“操作”SNR的估计。然后,处理器470提供经估计的信道信息(CSI),其可包括关于通信链路及/或所接收数据流的各种信息。例如,所述CSI可仅包括操作SNR。CQI的类型提供(例如)CQICH(SISO、SCW及MCW)、BFCH及或SFCH是基于当前调度的接入终端机、指令或期望的传输模式来确定。然后,TX数据处理器478(其从数据源476接收若干数据流的业务数据)对所述CSI进行处理,调制解调器480对其进行调制,发射机454a至454r对其进行调节,并将其发回至发射机系统410。 
在发射系统410处,天线424接收来自接收系统250的经调制信号,接收机422对其进行调节,解调器440对其进行解调制,且RX数据处理器442对其进行处理,以恢复由接收系统所报告的CSI。然后,将所报告的CQI提供至处理器430并使用其来(1)确定拟针对所述数据流使用的数据率及编码和调制方案及(2)为TX数据处理器414及TX MIMO处理器420产生各种控制信号。 
在所述接收机处,可使用各种处理技术来处理NR个接收的信号以检测NT个传输的符号流。可将这些接收机处理技术分组为两大类:(i)空间及空间-时间接收机处理技术,其还被称为均衡技术;及(ii)“连续清零/均衡及干扰取消”接收机处理技术,其还被称为“连续干扰取消”或“连续取消”接收机处理技术。 
可将NT个传输及NR个接收天线所形成的MEMO信道分解成NS个独立的信道,其中Ns<mm{NT,NR}。还可将所述Ns个独立信道的每一者称为MBVIO信道的空间子信道(或传输信道)且对应于一个维度。 
对于满秩MEMO信道,其中Ns=NT<NR,可从NT个发射天线的每一者发射独立的数据流。所发射的数据流可经历不同的信道状态(例如,不同的衰落及多路径效应),且对于既定量的发射功率,其可实现不同的信噪和干扰比(SNR)。此外,在那些于接收机处使用连续干扰取消处理以恢复所发射数据流的情况下,则然后可取决于所述数据流所恢复的具体次序实现所述数据流的不同SNR。因此,取决于其所实现的SNR,不同的数据流可支持不同的数据率。由于所述信道状态通常会随时间变化,所以每一数据流所支持的数据率也回随着时间而变化。 
所述MMO设计可具有两种操作模式:单代码字(SCW)及多代码字(MCW)。在MCW模式中,所述发射机可独立地且可能以不同的速率来编码每一空间层上所传输的数据。所述接收机使用工作如下的连续干扰取消(SIC)算法:解码第一层,并然后在重新编码之后从所接收的信号中减去其组分并使所编码的第一层乘以“经估计的信道”;然后解码第二层等等。这种“剥洋葱”的方法意味着每一连续解码的层可看见增加的SNR,且因此可支持较高的速率。在不存在错误传播的情况下,具有SIC的MCW设计可基于信道状态实现最大的系统传输容量。 
在SCW模式设计中,所述发射机以“相等的数据率”来编码每一空间层上所传输的数据。所述接收机可针对每一音调使用低复杂性线性接收机(例如,最小均方方案或零频率(ZF)接收机)或非线性接收机(例如,QRM)。这允许所述接收机的信道估计报告仅关于所述“最佳”的层及用于提供所述信息的减少传输开销。 
虽然图4及相关联的论述涉及MEVIO系统,但其他多输入单输出及单输出多输入(SEVIO)系统也可使用图4的结构及参照本文图1、5及6所论述的结构、方法及系统。

本文所述技术可通过各种方法来实施。例如,所述技术可实施在硬件、软件、或其一组合中。对于硬件实施方案来说,接入点或接入终端机内的处理单元可实施在如下装置中:一个或多个应用专用集成电路(ASIC)、数字信号处理器(DSP)、数字信号处理装置(DSPD)、可编程逻辑装置(PLD)、现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)、处理器、控制器、微控制器、微处理器、其他设计用于实施本文所述功能的电子单元、或其组合。 
对于软件实施方案,可使用实施本文所述功能的模块(例如程序、功能等等)来实施本文所述技术。可将所述软件代码储存在存储器单元中并由处理器来执行。所述存储器单元既可实施在处理器内部也可实施于处理器外部,在后一种情况下,所述存储器单元可通过各种此项技术中已知的装置以通信的方式耦合至所述处理器。 
应注意,本文中信道的概念是指可由接入点或接入终端机传输的信息或传输类型。其不需要或使用固定或预定的副载波区块、时间周期或其他专用于这类传输的资源。

Claims (26)

1.一种无线通信方法,其包括:
将根据第一信道反馈报告格式的第一信道反馈信息传输至第一扇区;
将根据所述第一信道反馈报告格式的第二信道反馈信息传输至第二扇区;
将根据第二信道反馈报告格式的第三信道反馈信息传输至所述第一扇区;以及
将根据所述第一信道反馈报告格式的第四信道反馈信息传输至所述第二扇区;
其中如果扇区类型是非服务的,则相应的信道反馈信息为控制信道CQI类型;如果扇区类型是服务的,则根据确定的报告类型确定第一、第二、第三或第四信道反馈信息的格式。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述第一扇区包括服务扇区,且所述第二扇区包括非服务扇区。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法,其进一步包括将根据所述第一信道反馈报告格式的第五信道反馈信息传输至所述第二扇区。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述信道反馈信息包括信道质量信息(CQI)。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述第二信道反馈报告格式包括识别优选段的信息。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述第二信道反馈报告格式包括识别优选SDMA索引的信息。
7.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述第二信道反馈报告格式包括多个信道反馈报告格式,其每一者对应于MCW、SCW及SISO报告格式中的一者。
8.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述第一扇区包括一同步子组的成员,且所述第二扇区包括一非同步子组的成员,其中,所述同步子组具有相同定时,所述非同步子组为不包含FLSS的同步子组。
9.一种无线通信设备,其包括:
用于将根据第一信道反馈报告格式的第一信道反馈信息传输至第一扇区的装置;
用于将根据所述第一信道反馈报告格式的第二信道反馈信息传输至第二扇区的装置;
用于将根据第二信道反馈报告格式的第三信道反馈信息传输至所述第一扇区的装置;以及
用于将根据所述第一信道反馈报告格式的第四信道反馈信息传输至所述第二扇区的装置;
其中如果扇区类型是非服务的,则相应的信道反馈信息为控制信道CQI类型;如果扇区类型是服务的,则根据确定的报告类型确定第一、第二、第三或第四信道反馈信息的格式。
10.如权利要求9所述的无线通信设备,其中所述第一扇区包括服务扇区且所述第二扇区包括非服务扇区。
11.如权利要求9所述的无线通信设备,其进一步包括用于将根据所述第一信道反馈报告格式的第五信道反馈信息传输至所述第二扇区的装置。
12.如权利要求9所述的无线通信设备,其中所述信道反馈信息包括信道质量信息(CQI)。
13.如权利要求9所述的无线通信设备,其中所述第二信道反馈报告格式包括识别优选段的信息。
14.如权利要求9所述的无线通信设备,其中所述第二信道反馈报告格式包括识别优选SDMA索引的信息。
15.如权利要求9所述的无线通信设备,其中所述第二信道反馈报告格式包括多个第二信道反馈报告格式,其每一者对应于MCW、SCW及SISO报告格式中的一者。
16.如权利要求9所述的无线通信设备,其中所述第一扇区包括一同步子组的成员,且所述第二扇区包括一非同步子组的成员,其中,所述同步子组具有相同定时,所述非同步子组为不包含FLSS的同步子组。
17.一种无线通信方法,其包括:
为扇区确定扇区类型,其中所述扇区类型为服务的或非服务的;
如果所述扇区类型为服务的,基于来自服务扇区或另一扇区的指令来选择报告类型,且基于所述报告类型来产生信道信息反馈的类型;以及
如果所述扇区类型为非服务的,产生控制信道CQI反馈类型。
18.如权利要求17所述的方法,其中所述信道信息反馈的类型包括SDMA信道质量信息(CQI)及优选段信道质量信息(CQI)。
19.如权利要求17所述的方法,其中所述信道信息反馈的类型进一步包括MCW、SCW及SISO信道质量信息(CQIs)。
20.如权利要求17所述的方法,其中选择包括基于扇区类型为多个消息选择多个报告类型。
21.如权利要求17所述的方法,其中选择包括基于通至所述无线通信设备的正向链路上的传输模式的类型来进行选择。
22.如权利要求17所述的方法,其中选择包括为一个消息选择两个消息格式,一个格式为信道质量信息(CQI)值,而另一格式为信道质量信息(CQI)值的偏移。
23.一种用于无线通信的设备,其包括:
用于为扇区确定扇区类型的装置,其中所述扇区类型为服务的或非服务的;
用于在所述扇区类型为服务的时,基于来自服务扇区或另一扇区的指令来选择报告类型的装置;
用于基于所述报告类型来产生信道信息反馈类型的装置;及
用于在所述扇区类型为非服务的时,产生控制信道CQI反馈类型的装置。
24.如权利要求23所述的设备,其中所述用于选择的装置包括基于来自另一扇区的指令来进行选择的装置。
25.如权利要求23所述的设备,其中所述信道信息反馈的类型包括SDMA信道质量信息(CQI)及优选段信道质量信息(CQI)。
26.如权利要求23所述的设备,其中所述信道信息反馈的类型进一步包括MCW、SCW及SISO信道质量信息(CQIs)。
