Abstract

本发明提供从气体发生器的插通口的漏气量显著减少的气囊和气囊装配件。前膝气囊(14)由乘员侧的前面板(20)和内装面板(2)侧的后面板(22)构成了外壳。在后面板(22)下部的内侧面安装了垫板(32)。在后面板(22)与垫板(32)上分别设置了气体发生器插通口(36、38)。插通口(36、38)相互之间互以相隔一定距离分开配置,且从保持器(22)的插通口(36)至垫板(32)的插通口(38)之间形成气体发生器插通空间(S)。在气体发生器插通空间(S)的上侧附近和下侧附近结合了后面板(22)和垫板(32),由此,气体发生器插通空间(S)形成隧道状。

Description

气囊及气囊装配件
技术领域
本发明涉及设置在汽车等的在冲突等紧急时刻膨胀的气囊和在该气囊上组装气体发生器而成的气囊装配件。详细讲,本发明涉及棒状的气体发生器被插通到插通口的气囊和气囊装配件,特别涉及适合于前膝气囊的气囊和气囊装配件。
背景技术
作为在汽车发生冲突时使气囊在前席乘员的膝前方膨胀的前膝气囊装置,在特开2003-40071号公报中记载了具备气囊和被插通到该气囊的插通口的棒状的圆柱型气体发生器的装置。同号公报的气囊装置如同号公报图3,气体发生器的大部分被配置在气囊内,且气体发生器的后端侧从气囊的插通口向外部突出。在该气体发生器后端部连接着点火电流通电用导线。
专利文献1:特开2003-40071号公报
上述特开2003-40071号公报的气囊装置,在气体发生器已起动时,容易从气囊的插通口内周边缘和气体发生器外周面之间漏气。且,因此作为气体发生器需要有大输出。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于,提供一种从气体发生器的插通口的漏气量显著减少的气囊和气囊装配件。
本发明的气囊,具有气囊本体和安装在该气囊本体的垫板,且在该气囊本体和该垫板上分别设置了气体发生器的插通口,其特征在于,这些插通口相互之间分开配置,而该垫板与该气囊本体的插通口对置,该气囊本体与该垫板的插通口对置,且气囊本体的插通口至垫板的插通口之间成为气体发生器的插通空间。
本发明的气囊装配件在这种本发明的气囊插通口插通了气体发生器,且把气体发生器的顶端侧配置在气囊内,把气体发生器的后端侧配置在气囊外。
本发明的一方式中,在该插通空间附近配置了结合该气囊本体和该垫板的接合部,且该结合部向连接该插通口相互之间的方向延伸。
本发明的气囊和气囊装配件,由于气体发生器被插通在垫板的插通口和气囊本体的插通口双方,因而与只插通到1个插通口的气体发生器的现有例相比,漏气量很少。且,因此作为气体发生器使用小输出的装置也能使气囊充分地在早期膨胀。
在本发明中,该插通空间附近配置了结合该气囊本体和该垫板的结合部,且该结合部当构成为向连接该插通口相互之间的方向延伸时,至少插通口相互之间的气体发生器插通空间的一部分成为隧道形状。通过在该隧道形状的空间插通气体发生器,从插通口的漏气量会显著减少。

具体实施方式
以下,参照附图对本发明的实施方式进行说明。
图1为表示作为本发明的一实施方式的具备气囊的气囊装配件的前膝气囊装置(乘员腿部保护装置)的剖视图、图2为该前膝气囊的分解透视图、图3为安装了垫板的气囊本体后面板的透视图、图4为沿着图3的IV-IV线的剖视图、图5为沿着图4的V-V线的剖视图、图6为载有垫板的后面板的气体发生器插通口附近的俯视图、图7为气体发生器插通口的放大透视图。
被设置在汽车等座席1前方的内装面板2上设置了前膝气囊装置10。
如图1所示,该气囊装置10具备:容器状的保持器12、连接在该保持器12内的前膝气囊14、以及用于使该前膝气囊14膨胀的气体发生器16。该保持器12配置在设置于内装面板2的开口4上。在平常时,该前膝气囊14被折叠而存放在该保持器12内,且盖18装配在该保持器12的前面,并覆盖该前膝气囊14。该盖18在平常时配置成与该内装面板2近似在同一平面,而在前膝气囊14膨胀时,则以该下端侧作为支端向内装面板2的表面侧打开。
在此方式中该开口4设置成与座席1的座面附近的高度相同或比此位置偏下的高度。前膝气囊14从该开口4沿着内装面板2的前面(乘员侧的面)而从下至上膨胀。
该前膝气囊14由乘员侧的前面板20和内装面板2侧的后面板22构成了外壳(气囊本体)。如图2所示,在此方式中该前面板20和后面板22分别为近似长方形的面板,且两者大致为相同大小。这些前面板20和后面板22各个周圆部相互之间经过全周而通过缝合等结合方法结合成袋状。标号24表示由结合了这些周缘部相互之间的线等构成的接缝。
再者,在该前膝气囊14内部,如图1所示,设置了连接前面板20和后面板22而限制在前膝气囊膨胀时向该前面板20的乘员侧膨胀出的约束面板26、26。标号28、30表示把各约束面板26的两端部分别连接到该前面板20和后面板22的接缝。
在该后面板22的下部内侧面安装了垫板32。该垫板32在此方式中如图2所示,上下方向的大小小于后面板22,且左右方向大小与后面板22大致相同的大小的近似长方形的座席。该垫板32的下边与后面板22的下边重合,同时沿着该后面板22的内侧面配置成左右的侧边分别与后面板22的左右的侧边重合,且经过全周通过缝合等被结合到该后面板22上。图3的标号34表示把该垫板32的周缘部结合到后面板22的接缝。而且,该垫板32的下边与左右的侧边分别通过前面板20的下边和左右侧边一同通过接缝24结合到后面板22上。
在该后面板22与垫板32上分别设置了插通气体发生器14的插通口36、38。如图6所示,该插通口36、38相互之间在左右方向上相隔一定距离而分开配置。因此,后面板22的插通口36与垫板32对置(重合),同时垫板32的插通口38与后面板22对置。而且,在此方式中各插通口36、38由向上下方向延伸的切缝(切口)构成。从该后面板22的插通口36至垫板32的插通口之间的间隙成为气体发生器插通空间S。
如图6所示,在该气体发生器插通空间S的上侧附近和下侧附近,通过缝合等分别结合了后面板22和垫板32。标号40、42表示这些结合部(接缝)。气体发生器插同空间S的上侧附近的结合部40以线状延设成连接插通口36、38的上端侧的边缘部相互之间,而气体发生器插通空间S的下侧附近的结合部42以线状延设成连接插通口36、38下端侧的边缘部相互之间。由此,如图7中放大表示的那样,气体发生插通空间S被后面板22与垫板32围住,且形成了两端分别插通了插通口36、38的隧道状。
在此方式中如图5和图7所示,该线状结合部40由相互平行延伸的1对接缝40a、40b构成,且线状结合部42也由相互平行延伸的1对接缝42a、42b构成。在这些线状接合部40、42两端侧分别设置了通过缝合等把后面板22与垫板32结合成环状的环状结合部44、46、48、50。各接缝40a、40b的两端分别与环状结合部44、46汇合,而各接缝42a、42b的两端则分别与环状结合部48、50汇合。
气体发生器16为棒(圆柱形)状,且在一端(顶端)侧的侧周面上设置了气体喷出口(图示略)。该气体发生器16在圆筒形的耐压壳体内部储存气体发生剂,而另一端(末端)侧设置了点火用引爆管(图示略)。
在该气体发生器16中装配了固定部件52。该固定部件52如图2所示,具有:沿着该气体发生器16的里侧(与垫板32对置侧)的侧周面配置的本体部52a、跨过该本体部52a的拱部52b、以及从该本体部52a的里面突设的双头螺栓52c。气体发生器16在固定部件52b上安装成顶端侧插入到该拱部52b内。气体发生器16的末端侧从该固定部件52突出。
该气体发生器16的顶端侧的大部分被配置在前膝气囊14内部,且从固定部件52突出的末端侧被插通到气体发生器插通空间S内而配置在该前膝气囊14的外部。并且,通过在该气体发生器16的末端侧装配了绳带(图示略)等,该气体发生器插通空间S的周缘部被气密地固定在气体发生器16的侧周面上。
配置在前膝气囊14外部的气体发生器16的末端部上连接了从气体发生器控制单元(图示略)向引爆管通电用的连接器54。
在配置于该气体发生器16里侧的垫板32与后面板22分别设置了用于插通从固定部件52突设的双头螺栓52c的螺栓插通孔56、58。在此方式中如图2所示,从固定部件52突设了2根双头螺栓52c、52c,且在该垫板32与后面板22上分别设置了2个螺栓插通孔56、56和58、58。各双头螺栓52c被插通到这些螺栓插通孔56、58而向前膝气囊14的外部突出。
在前述保持器12的底面也在与各螺栓插通孔56、58重含的位置上设置了用于插通双头螺栓52c的螺栓插通孔(标号略),而各双头螺栓孔52c如图1所示,被插通到该螺栓插通孔而向保持器12里侧突出。并且,通过在各双头螺栓52c上拧进螺母60,固定部件52被固定在保持器12上,同时在该固定部件52与保持器12底面之间承载着前膝气囊14的后面板22和垫板32。
如此构成的前膝气囊装置10,如果被检测出汽车的冲突,则给气体发生器16的引爆管通电,从而该气体发生器16被起动而向前膝气囊14内供给气体。借助于该气体,前膝气囊14开始膨胀,并压开该盖18而如图1所示展开成可以覆盖内装面板2的前面。根据该膨胀的前膝气囊14,可以防止坐在座席1的乘员的腿部与该内装面板2冲撞。
该前膝气囊装置10,由于在前膝气囊14的后面板22与安装在该后面板22的垫板32上分别在左右方向上相隔一定距离而设置了气体发生器插通口36、38,从而气体发生器16的末端部被插通到这些插通口36、38的双方,因而与气体发生器只插通到1个插通口的现有气囊相比,气体通过这些插通口36、38难以从前膝气囊14内流出。
而且,在此方式中这些插通口36、38相互之间的气体发生器插通空间S成为隧道状,而由于该气体发生器插通空间S的内周面与气体发生器16的外周面之间的气体的流通阻力很大,因而气体通过该插通口36、38而从前膝气囊14内流出的气体量极少。
此外,因此作为气体发生器16而使用小输出的装置时也能够使前膝气囊14充分地在早期膨胀。
上述的方式为本发明的一例,而本发明并不限于上述的方式。
例如,在上述方式中垫板32的大小可以覆盖后面板22下部的内侧面全体,但还可以是形成隧道状的气体发生器插通空间S左右的大小。
上述的方式为表示在前膝气囊装置中使用本发明的适用例的方式,但本发明还可使用在除此以外的气囊装置(气囊装配件)。

Claims (5)

1.一种气囊,具有气囊本体和安装在该气囊本体的垫板,
在该气囊本体和该垫板上分别设置了气体发生器的插通口,其特征在于,
所述插通口由上下方向延伸的切缝构成,并且这些插通口之间相互分开配置,使得该垫板与该气囊本体的插通口对置,该气囊本体与该垫板的插通口对置,
通过将垫板与气囊本体缝合而使气囊本体的插通口至垫板的插通口之间成为气体发生器的插通空间,
进一步将所述插通空间的上下两侧的边缘部缝合而形成隧道状。
2.如权利要求1所述的气囊,其中,在该插通空间附近配置了结合该气囊本体与该垫板的结合部,
该结合部向连接该插通口之间的方向延伸。
3.一种气囊装配件,具有具备气体发生器的插通口的气囊和被插通到该插通口的棒状气体发生器,其特征在于,
该气囊为权利要求1或2所述的气囊,
该气体发生器被插通到该气囊的所述插通口,且该气体发生器的顶端侧配置在气囊内,而气体发生器的末端侧配置在气囊外。
4.如权利要求3所述的气囊装配件,其中,该气囊为前膝气囊。
5.一种气囊装置,具有保持器和气囊装配件,气囊被折叠而存放在该保持器内,其中,
所述气囊装配件为权利要求3或4所述的气囊装配件。
