Abstract
método para medir a quantidade de angiotensina 1 e a atividade da renina em uma amostra. a presente invenção refere-se a métodos para medir a atividade da renina em uma amostra de plasma usando a espectrometria de massa. os métodos em geral envolvem ionizar a angiotensina 1 purificada a partir da amostra e detectar a quantidade de íons de angiotensina 1 gerados. a quantidade de íons de angiotensina 1 detectados é então relacionada à quantidade de angiotensina 1 gerada na amostra, a qual, por sua vez, é relacionada à atividade da renina na amostra.
