"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA GRAVAR PROGRAMAS DE TELEVISãO PAGOS" Trata-se de um aparelho e um método para processar uma pluralidade de programas, os quais possuem as seguintes características. Um programa pode ser selecionado a partir de uma pluralidade de programas a ser gravados. Os programas selecionados são então armazenados em uma primeira lista de programas que representa os programas selecionados para a gravação. Um programa também pode ser selecionado da pluralidade de programas tanto para compra quanto para gravação. O programa selecionado é então armazenado em uma segunda lista de programas que representa os programas comprados. Esse programa selecionado também é automaticamente armazenado na primeira lista de programas que representa os programas selecionados para a gravação. Além dissso, quando do cancelamento de um programa previamente comprado, é determinado se o programa comprado também aparece na lista de programas selecionados para a gravação. Se ele aparecer na lista de gravação, então o programa também é removido automaticamente da lista de gravação, quando a compra é cancelada.
