Abstract

Composição curável, de acordo com a presente invenção, tem excelente repelência à água e propriedades de deslizamento de água, e boa processabilidade de aplicação, resistência ao desgaste e estabilidade de armazenamento. Essa composição curável é particularmente útil para a formação de um revestimento em uma superfície de metal, uma superfície revestida ou uma superfície de resina de uma carroceria de automóvel ou um vagão de trem para o propósito de conferir, à superfície repelência à água, propriedades de deslizamento de água, durabilidade, etc. Essa composição curável contém: (A) 100 partes em massa de uma resina de silicone que tem uma viscosidade de 50 a 500 mm2s-1 a 25 °C e que tem um grupo hidrolisável, (B) 1,0 a 30 partes em massa de um catalisador à base de alumínio para a reação de condensação, e (C) 600 a 1.700 partes em massa de um solvente orgânico que contém 40% em massa ou mais de um composto de hidrocarboneto naftênico e cuja faixa de temperatura do ponto de ebulição ou ponto de ebulição inicial para o ponto seco do mesmo abrange a faixa de 140 a 200 °C.
