Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se a um processo para preparar, 4-bis(etoximetil)ciclo-hexano, que compreende reagir 1,4-bis(hidroximetil)ciclo-hexano com cloreto de etila na presença de uma base inorgânica, um solvente e um catalisador de transferência de fase para produzir uma mistura de reação contendo 1,4-bis(etoximetil)ciclo-hexano, onde a base inorgânica é selecionada é selecionada de hidróxidos de metal alcalino e hidróxidos de metal alcalinoterroso e onde o solvente é selecionado de água ou uma mistura de água com pelo menos um solvente orgânico.
