são descritos no presente documento revestimentos que conferem resistência ao óleo, gordura e água a vários materiais, como papel, papelão e materiais poliméricos. tais revestimentos podem ser aplicados como revestimentos tipo barreira aos materiais de substrato para inibir e prevenir a transmissão de óleo, gordura e água; ou seja, para prevenir que o óleo, a água ou gordura passe para dentro e/ou através do material de substrato. os revestimentos incluem um látex polimérico à base de acrílico, um látex de borracha de estireno-butadieno, uma solução de resina de estireno-acrílico, uma cera de tamanho de partícula grande e opcionalmente uma cera de tamanho de partícula pequeno. também é revelado no presente documento um processo de preparo dos revestimentos. também são revelados produtos aos quais os revestimentos foram aplicados para conferir resistência ao óleo, gordura e/ou água, e processos para preparar tais produtos.
