Abstract
"MEMBRANAS SEMI-PERMEáVEIS DE POLISSULFONA 'MELT SPUN' E MéTODOS PARA FABRICá-LAS". A presente invenção provê, inter alia, uma composição útil para produção de uma membrana semipermeável, homogênea, a composição formando uma membrana semipermeável de polissulfona, membrana essa formada de uma mistura de: um polímero hidrofílico de peso molecular ultra alto, um composto polissulfónico e um solvente para o composto polissulfónico, a membrana semipermeável de polissulfona tendo uma estrutura homogênea permitindo uma estrutura substancialmente uniforme. Outro aspecto desta invenção divulga métodos para fabricação de membranas semipermeáveis por mistura homogênea da composição, fusão da composição, e melt-spinning da composição fundida. Outro aspecto da presente invenção inclui membranas semi-permeáveis, melt-spun, homogêneas úteis para processos de separação de líquidos, como, mas não limitados a, microfiltração, ultrafiltração, diálise e osmose reversa.
