Abstract
"MATERIAL DE SUPORTE PARA CATALISADOR, TENDO ALTA CAPACIDADE DE ARMAZENAMENTO DE OXIGêNIO, E MéTODO PARA PREPARAçãO DO MESMO". Descreve-se óxidos mistos de óxido de cério e óxido de zircónio, tendo uma alta capacidade de armazenamento de oxigênio e uma alta taxa de liberação de oxigênio. Os óxidos mistos são feitos de partículas policristalinas de óxido de cério e óxido de zircónio, tendo uma estrutura de domínios controlada no nível subcristalino, onde domínios adjacentes dentro de um único cristalito têm uma proporção de zircónio e cério diferente. Os óxidos mistos são preparados por uma técnica de co-precipitação, usando soluções de sais mistos de cério e zircónio, tendo um teor de sólidos de pelo menos 23%, na base de óxidos.
