Abstract
La presente se refiere a adsorbentes zeolíticos aglomerados a base de zeolita X de relacion Si/Al tal que 1,15 menor Si/Al menor igual 1,5 donde por lomenos el 90% de los emplazamientos cationicos intercambiables de la zeolita X quedan ocupados obie n por iones de bario solos o bien por iones de bario e ionesde potasio y de aglutinante inerte, cuyo volumen de Dubinin es de 0,240 cm3/g o superior. Se pueden obtener aglomerando polvo de zeolita con un aglutinante, alo que seguirá lazeolitizacion del aglutinante, el intercambio de los iones de la zeolita por iones de bario (y potasio) y la activacion de los adsorbentesasí intercambiados. Estos adsorbentes están particularmente adaptados para la adsorcion del p-xileno contenidoen fracciones d e hidrocarburos aromáticos C8 enfase líquida en los procedimientos de tipo lecho movil simulado pero también para la separacion de los azucares, de los alcoholes polihídricos, de loscresoles, de los isomeros de tolueno sustituido.
