Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a adsorbentes zeolíticos aglomerados a base de faujasita de relacion Si/Al tal que 1 < Si </= 1,15, intercambiadaal menos al 70% con bario y eventualmente con potasio y de un ligante, preferentemente zeolitizable. Seobtienen aglomerando polvo de zeolita con un liganteseguido de intercambio de iones de la zeolita con iones bario y activacion de los adsorbentes así intercambiados. Estos adsorbentes están particularmenteadaptados para la adsorcion del paraxilenoco ntenido en las fracciones de hidrocarburos aromáticos C8 en fase líquida en los procedimientos de tipolecho movil simulado.
