さらに、構成アミノ酸に酸性アミノ酸を有するペプチドやその誘導体とカチオン界面活性剤である脂肪酸アミドアミンとのイオンコンプレックスは、毛髪への吸着力が高いとともに、損傷により疎水性が低下した毛髪表面を疎水化し、毛髪に柔らかさ、しっとり感、滑らかさ、艶やかさなどを付与する作用が優れており、該イオンコンプレックスを含有する化粧品基材(化粧料製造用組成物)と該化粧品基材を配合する化粧料が開発されている(特許文献2、3)。
さらに、前記イオンコンプレックスは、水やアルコール類などの化粧料製造用組成物に許容されている溶媒に対する溶解性が低く、保存中に不溶物が析出する、粘度が上昇して半固形状となるなどの場合があった。そのため、化粧料の製造時には、例えば、包装物からの取り出しを容易にするため、前記組成物を加温して不溶物を溶解させる、粘度を低下させるなどの必要があり、化粧料を製造する際のハンドリング性の点で問題があった。
本発明者らは、さらに、イオンコンプレックスを構成する成分としてのペプチド又はその誘導体の代わりに、アミノ酸やその誘導体を用いた場合にも、グルコン酸及び/又はグルコノラクトン、及び多価アルコールを特定の質量比で配合することにより、低粘度で均一な液状となり、保存中においても固形物が析出しない透明な組成物が得られ、この組成物を配合した化粧料も、損傷した毛髪に適用して滑らかさや艶やかさとともに柔らかさやしっとり感を付与する効果に優れることを見出し、本発明を完成した。

前記(B)脂肪酸アミドアミンに対する(C)グルコン酸及び/又はグルコノラクトンの質量比(C)/(B)が、0.2~2.8であることを特徴とする透明な液状組成物である(請求項1)。
前記のように成分(A)は、ペプチド、ペプチドの誘導体、アミノ酸及びアミノ酸の誘導体からなる群より選ばれる化合物である。前記の群に含まれる1種の化合物であってもよいし、前記の群に含まれる2種以上の化合物を共に用いてもよい。
ペプチドとは、タンパク質加水分解物である。成分(A)として用いられるペプチド(タンパク質加水分解物)は、例えば、特開昭61-183298号公報、特開平3-294298号公報に開示されているように、タンパク質を酸、アルカリ、酵素、又はそれらの併用によって部分加水分解することで製造することができる。
動物性タンパク質としては、例えば、コラーゲン(その変性物であるゼラチンも含む)、ケラチン、フィブロイン、セリシン、カゼイン、コンキオリン、エラスチン、プロタミン、鶏などの卵黄タンパク質や卵白タンパク質などを挙げることができる。
植物性タンパク質としては、例えば、大豆、小麦、米(米糠)、ゴマ、エンドウ、トウモロコシ、イモ類などに含まれるタンパク質を挙げることができる。
微生物由来のタンパク質としては、例えば、サッカロミセス属、カンディダ属、エンドミコプシス属の酵母菌、ビール酵母や清酒酵母といわれる酵母菌より分離した酵母タンパク質、キノコ類(担子菌)やクロレラより分離したタンパク質、海藻由来のスピルリナタンパク質などを挙げることができる。
成分(A)としてのペプチドの誘導体とは、前記のペプチドのアミノ基が化学修飾された化合物(アミノ基の水素原子が他の官能基により置換された化合物)を言う。すなわち、ペプチド主鎖の末端アミノ基、及びアミノ酸側鎖にアミノ基を有する場合はそのアミノ基(以下、「側鎖アミノ基」と言う)の少なくとも一部の水素原子が官能基で置換されたものがペプチドの誘導体である。具体的には、例えば、アシル化ペプチド、第4級アンモニウム化ペプチド、シリル化ペプチド、グリセリル化ペプチドなどを挙げることができる。
成分(A)として用いることができるシリル化ペプチドには、一般式(III)で表される基がアミノ基に結合したペプチドに加えて、一般式(III)で表される基がアミノ基に結合したペプチドの重合体であるシリコーンレジン化ペプチドも含まれ、シリコーンレジン化ペプチドを含有するシリル化ペプチドも成分(A)として用いることができる。
成分(A)として用いることができるアミノ酸とは、1つの炭素原子からなる主鎖または2以上の炭素原子が連結してなる主鎖の両端に、塩基性基であるアミノ基などと酸性基であるカルボキシル基又はスルホ基が、それぞれ結合している化合物である。前記の主鎖に結合したアミノ基と酸性基に加えて、主鎖から分岐した側鎖に、アミノ基等の塩基性基を有する塩基性アミノ酸及び酸性基を有する酸性アミノ酸も成分(A)として用いることができる。
アミノ酸としては、天然型アミノ酸、非天然型アミノ酸のいずれも用いることができる。
天然型アミノ酸としては、アスパラギン酸、グルタミン酸、バリン、グリシン、アラニン、ロイシン、イソロイシン、セリン、スレオニン、フェニルアラニン、アスパラギン、グルタミン、チロシン、メチオニン、システイン、リシン、アルギニン、ヒスチジン、トリプトファン、プロリンなどを挙げることができる。非天然型アミノ酸としては、β-アラニン、ヒドロキシプロリン、ヒドロキシリシン、オルニチン、シトルリン、シスチン、ノルロイシン、α-アミノ酪酸、α-アミノカプロン酸、タウリン、シスチン酸などを挙げることができる。
アミノ酸の誘導体とは、アミノ酸のアミノ基が化学修飾された化合物(アミノ基の水素原子が他の官能基により置換された化合物)を言う。具体的には、アミノ基に、炭素数1~22の飽和脂肪酸、炭素数3~22の不飽和脂肪酸、環状脂肪酸、または芳香族カルボン酸が結合したアシル化アミノ酸、アミノ基に、炭素数1~12のアルキルスルホン酸、または芳香族スルホン酸が結合したスルホニル化アミノ酸、アミノ基の1個又は2個の水素原子が炭素数1~22の飽和又は不飽和アルキル基、アラルキル基で置換されたアルキル化アミノ酸、トリメチルグリシンなどのベタイン、アミノ基に、一般式(III)で表される基が結合したシリル化アミノ酸、アミノ基に、一般式(II)で表される基が結合したが第4級アンモニウム化アミノ酸、アミノ基に、一般式(IV)又は(V)で表される基が結合したグリセリル化アミノ酸などがアミノ酸の誘導体の例として挙げることができる。
成分(B)である脂肪酸アミドアミンは、前記一般式(I)で表されるカチオン界面活性剤であり、脂肪酸のカルボキシ基に、ジアルキルアミノアルキレンアミンのアミノ基をアミド結合させることで得られる。
一般式(I)中のR1が環式炭化水素を有する脂肪酸アミドアミンは、例えば、ジアルキルアミノアルキレンアミンと反応させる脂肪酸としてロジン(松脂)を用いて製造することができる。ロジンは松科の植物に多量に含まれる松脂の不揮発性の成分であり、樹脂酸ともよばれる各種異性体を主成分とするもので、アビエチン酸、ネオアビエチン酸、パラストリン酸、ピマール酸、イソピマール酸、デヒドロアビエチン酸などが含まれている。また、組成物としての安定性や化粧料へ配合した際の安全性を重視するならば、前記脂肪酸としてロジンを水添した水添ロジンを用いることが好ましい。
また組成物としての安定性と汎用性の観点からは、ステアリン酸ジエチルアミノエチルアミド、パルミチン酸ジエチルアミノエチルアミド、ステアリン酸ジメチルアミノプロピルアミド、パルミチン酸ジメチルアミノプロピルアミド、ステアリン酸ジエチルアミノエチルアミドとパルミチン酸ジエチルアミノエチルアミドが約1:1のモル比で混合されたセトステアリン酸ジエチルアミノエチルアミド[つまり、セテアラミドエチルジエチルアミン]、ステアリン酸ジメチルアミノプロピルアミドとパルミチン酸ジメチルアミノプロピルアミドが約1:1のモル比で混合されたセトステアリン酸ジメチルアミノプロピルアミド[つまり、セテアラミドプロピルジメチルアミン]がより好ましく、中でもステアリン酸ジメチルアミノプロピルアミド、ステアリン酸ジエチルアミノエチルアミドが特に好ましい。
前記成分(A)及び成分(B)に、グルコン酸及び/又はグルコノラクトンを成分(C)として、前記成分(B)の脂肪酸アミドアミンに対して特定の質量比の範囲で配合することにより、保存中の不溶物の析出や粘度の上昇がなく、均一で透明な組成物を提供することができる。さらには、本発明の組成物を配合した化粧料を毛髪に適用した場合には、好ましいしっとり感や、柔らかさを与えることができる。
なお、成分(C)としては、グルコン酸のみ又はグルコノラクトンのみを単独で配合してもよいし、グルコン酸及びグルコノラクトンを配合してもよい。しかし、グルコン酸はグルコノラクトンの加水分解物であり、水の存在下ではグルコン酸とグルコノラクトンが平衡状態にある。従って、グルコン酸又はグルコノラクトンを単独で配合した場合でも、グルコン酸及びグルコノラクトンがともに配合された組成物になる場合もあり得る。
一方、質量比(C)/(B)が2.8より大きい場合には、本発明の透明な液状組成物を配合した化粧料を毛髪に適用した場合にべたつきが出るなど、使用感を損なうおそれがあり、又保存安定性も低下する傾向がある。
質量比(C)/(B)は、好ましくは0.5~2.0の範囲内であり、この範囲内で組成物の保存中の不溶物の析出をより確実に抑制することができ、また、べたつきの発生をより確実に防ぐことができる。
成分(D)である多価アルコールとしては、分子内に2個以上の水酸基を有するアルコールであり、従来から一般に化粧料に用いられるものであれば特に限定されない。例えば、グリセリン、ジグリセリン、ポリグリセリンなどのグリセロール類、プロピレングリコール(1,2-プロパンジオール)、1,3-ブチレングリコール(1,3-ブタンジオール)、ペンチレングリコール(1,2-ペンタンジオール)、ヘキシレングリコール(2-メチル-2,4-ペンタンジオール))、1,2-ヘキサンジオール、1,6-ヘキサンジオール、ネオペンチルグリコール、イソプレングリコール、エチレングリコール、低重合ポリエチレングリコールなどのグリコール類、マルチトール、エリトリトール、マンニトール、キシリトール、ソルビトール等の糖アルコールを挙げることができる。
本発明の透明な液状組成物は、前記の成分(A)、(B)、(C)、(D)に加えて、水等の溶媒を含み、さらに必要に応じて他の成分を含むこともできる。溶媒としては、水のほかに、(D)多価アルコール以外のアルコール類、例えばエタノールなどの低級アルコールを挙げることができる。
本発明の透明な液状組成物は、前記の成分(A)、(B)、(C)、(D)、水等の溶媒及び必要に応じて添加される他の成分を、常法により混合し、溶解して製造することができる。
本発明の透明な液状組成物は、損傷により疎水性が失われ滑らかさや艶やかさが低下した毛髪に、滑らかさや艶やかさに加えて、柔らかさやしっとり感等の好ましい使用感を与える効果に優れているので、毛髪のコンディションを改善する毛髪化粧料に好適に配合される。
本発明の透明な液状組成物が配合されて毛髪のコンディションを改善する毛髪化粧料としては、例えば、ヘアトリートメント、ヘアコンディショナーを挙げることができ、さらにシステムトリートメント、シャンプー、ヘアミスト、枝毛コート、ヘアクリーム、パーマネントウェーブ用第1剤及び第2剤、縮毛矯正剤、セットローション、ヘアワックス、スタイリング剤、染毛剤、染毛料、液体整髪料、養毛・育毛剤などの毛髪化粧料などを挙げることができる。

×:不溶物が析出し沈殿している。
実施例1~7及び比較例1~7で調製した組成物(ガラス瓶中に保存)を、5℃で1か月間保存し室温まで戻した後の外観を目視により確認し、以下の基準で評価した。
〇:透明で、均一な液又は微量の不溶物が分散した流動性のある液である。
△:不溶物が析出し沈殿した流動性のある液である。
×:流動性を失い半固形状である。
実施例1~7の組成物及び比較例3、5~7の組成物を配合した表2に示す組成のヘアトリートメントを、それぞれ、実施例8~14及び比較例8~11として調製した。さらに、いずれの組成物も配合していないヘアトリートメントも対照例1として調整した。各ヘアトリートメントの配合成分の配合比(質量比)を表2に示す。
長さ15cmで重さ1.5gの毛束を3%過酸化水素水と1%アンモニアを含む水溶液に30℃で30分間浸した後、水道水で洗浄した。この処理を5回繰り返すことで、ブリーチ処理とした。
前記ブリーチ処理後の毛束を2%ポリオキシエチレン(3)ラウリルエーテル硫酸ナトリウム水溶液で洗浄した。これらの各毛束に対して、前記実施例8~14、比較例8~11及び対照例1のヘアトリートメントをそれぞれ2g用いて処理した後、流水ですすぎ、ヘアドライヤーで乾燥した。このポリオキシエチレン(3)ラウリルエーテル硫酸ナトリウム水溶液による洗浄と、ヘアトリートメントによる処理と、流水によるすすぎと、ドライヤー乾燥とをそれぞれ5回ずつ繰り返した。
前記実施例8~14、比較例8~11のヘアトリートメントによるヘアトリートメント処理をした毛束に対して、滑らかさ、しっとり感、柔らかさの3項目について10人のパネリストにブラインド評価(盲検)させた。評価は対照例1を基準として、対照例1に比べて非常に良い場合は<2点>、良い場合は<1点>、悪い場合は<-1点>、非常に悪い場合は<-2点>、対照例1と同じ場合は<0点>と採点し、評価項目毎の合計得点で評価した。結果を下記の表3に示す。
Claims (6)
- (A)ペプチド、ペプチドの誘導体、アミノ酸及びアミノ酸の誘導体からなる群より選ばれる1種以上の化合物、(B)下記の一般式(I)で表される脂肪酸アミドアミン、(C)グルコン酸及び/又はグルコノラクトン、及び(D)多価アルコールを含有する組成物であって、
前記(B)脂肪酸アミドアミンに対する(C)グルコン酸及び/又はグルコノラクトンの質量比(C)/(B)が、0.2~2.8であることを特徴とする透明な液状組成物。
[式中、R1は、炭素数11~25の飽和若しくは不飽和の鎖式炭化水素又は炭素数11~25の飽和若しくは不飽和の環式炭化水素を表し、R2は炭素数1~3のアルキレン基を表し、R3、R4はそれぞれ炭素数1~3のアルキル基を表す。] - 前記(A)、(B)、(C)及び(D)の含有量が、前記組成物の全質量に対してそれぞれ、3~15質量%、5~15質量%、5~25質量%、及び7~35質量%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の透明な液状組成物。
- 前記(A)ペプチド、ペプチドの誘導体、アミノ酸及びアミノ酸の誘導体からなる群より選ばれる1種以上の化合物が、植物タンパク質の加水分解物、ケラチンの加水分解物及びそれらの誘導体からなる群から選ばれる化合物であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の透明な液状組成物。
- 前記(D)多価アルコールが、1,3-ブチレングリコール、ペンチレングリコール、ヘキシレングリコール及びグリセリンからなる群より選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の透明な液状組成物。
- 請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の透明な液状組成物を配合することを特徴とする化粧料。
- 毛髪のコンディションを改善する毛髪化粧料であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の化粧料。
