Abstract
Description
(作製例1)
ポリフェニレンサルファイド繊維(繊度:1.1dtex、繊維長:5mm)50質量%と、アラミドパルプ(CSF値:150mL)25質量%と、針葉樹パルプ(CSF値:50mL)25質量%とを水中に分散させたスラリーを調製し、円網抄紙機で混抄して湿式不織布(厚さ:100μm、見かけ密度:0.2g/cm3、耐圧縮強さ:15N、透気度:32秒/100mL、平均細孔径:3μm)よりなるセパレータを作製した。
ポリフェニレンサルファイド繊維、アラミドパルプ、および針葉樹パルプの割合を、それぞれ55質量%、30質量%、15質量%に変更した以外は、作製例1と同様にして湿式不織布(厚さ:200μm、見かけ密度:0.5g/cm3、耐圧縮強さ:25N、透気度:38秒/100mL、平均細孔径:3.2μm)よりなるセパレータを作製した。
ポリフェニレンサルファイド繊維、アラミドパルプ、および針葉樹パルプの割合を、それぞれ60質量%、15質量%、35質量%に変更した以外は、作製例1と同様にして湿式不織布(厚さ:200μm、見かけ密度:0.6g/cm3、耐圧縮強さ:35N、透気度:40秒/100mL、平均細孔径:2.7μm)よりなるセパレータを作製した。

ポリフェニレンサルファイド繊維、アラミドパルプ、および針葉樹パルプの割合を、それぞれ85質量%、10質量%、5質量%に変更した以外は、作製例1と同様にして湿式不織布(厚さ:400μm、見かけ密度:0.6g/cm3、耐圧縮強さ:80N、透気度:0.5秒/100mL、平均細孔径:6.4μm)よりなるセパレータを作製した。
ポリフェニレンサルファイド繊維、アラミドパルプ、および針葉樹パルプの割合を、それぞれ40質量%、25質量%、35質量%に変更した以外は、作製例1と同様にして湿式不織布(厚さ:400μm、見かけ密度:0.6g/cm3、耐圧縮強さ:10N、透気度:54秒/100mL、平均細孔径:1.8μm)よりなるセパレータを作製した。
ポリフェニレンサルファイド繊維、アラミドパルプ、および針葉樹パルプの割合を、それぞれ90質量%、10質量%、0質量%に変更した以外は、作製例1と同様にして湿式不織布(厚さ:400μm、見かけ密度:0.6g/cm3、耐圧縮強さ:90N、透気度:0.4秒/100mL、平均細孔径:6.8μm)よりなるセパレータを作製した。
ポリフェニレンサルファイド繊維、アラミドパルプ、および針葉樹パルプの割合を、それぞれ80質量%、5質量%、15質量%に変更した以外は、作製例1と同様にして湿式不織布(厚さ:400μm、見かけ密度:0.6g/cm3、耐圧縮強さ:70N、透気度:21秒/100mL、平均細孔径:6.4μm)よりなるセパレータを作製した。
ポリフェニレンサルファイド繊維、アラミドパルプ、および針葉樹パルプの割合を、それぞれ55質量%、35質量%、10質量%に変更した以外は、作製例1と同様にして湿式不織布(厚さ:400μm、見かけ密度:0.6g/cm3、耐圧縮強さ:25N、透気度:24秒/100mL、平均細孔径:3.5μm)よりなるセパレータを作製した。
ポリフェニレンサルファイド繊維、アラミドパルプ、および針葉樹パルプの割合を、それぞれ50質量%、10質量%、40質量%に変更した以外は、作製例1と同様にして湿式不織布(厚さ:100μm、見かけ密度:0.2g/cm3、耐圧縮強さ:20N、透気度:34秒/100mL、平均細孔径:0.1μm未満)よりなるセパレータを作製した。
<正極の作製>
正極活物質である二酸化マンガンと、導電助剤であるカーボンブラックと、バインダであるポリテトラフルオロエチレンとを、93:3:4の質量比で混合して調製した正極合剤を成形して、直径16mm、厚み1.8mmの正極(正極合剤成形体)を得た。
厚みが0.6mmのリチウム箔の片面に、厚みが0.01μmのアルミニウム箔を圧着し、これを直径16mmの円形に打ち抜いて、負極を得た。
プロピレンカーボネートと1,2-ジメトキシエタンとを、41.8:51.2の質量比で混合した混合溶媒に、LiClO4を0.5mol/Lの濃度で溶解させ、更に2質量%となる量の1,3-プロパンスルトンを添加して非水電解液を調製した。
電池の外装材として、ポリフェニレンサルファイド製のガスケットを開口端部に装着したステンレス製の封口缶と、ステンレス製の外装缶とを用意した。前記封口缶の内面に前記負極を圧着し、直径19mmの円形に打ち抜かれた作製例1のセパレータ2枚を前記負極上に積層し、更に前記正極を前記セパレータに積層して、負極/セパレータ/正極の積層体を封口缶内に配置させた。続いて、前記非水電解液を封口缶内に注液して前記セパレータに吸液させ、更に外装缶を被せた後、これをかしめることにより封口を行い、図1に示す構造の直径20mm、高さ3.2mmのコイン形非水電解液電池を得た。
円形に打ち抜かれた作製例2のセパレータ1枚を電池の組み立てに用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にしてコイン形非水電解液電池を得た。
円形に打ち抜かれた作製例3のセパレータ1枚を電池の組み立てに用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にしてコイン形非水電解液電池を得た。
円形に打ち抜かれた作製例4のセパレータ1枚を電池の組み立てに用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にしてコイン形非水電解液電池を得た。
円形に打ち抜かれた作製例5のセパレータ1枚を電池の組み立てに用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にしてコイン形非水電解液電池を得た。
円形に打ち抜かれた作製例6のセパレータ1枚を電池の組み立てに用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にしてコイン形非水電解液電池を得た。
円形に打ち抜かれた作製例7のセパレータ1枚を電池の組み立てに用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にしてコイン形非水電解液電池を得た。

- ポリフェニレンサルファイド繊維、アラミド繊維およびセルロース繊維を、それぞれ50~85質量%、10~30質量%、5~35質量%の割合で含むことを特徴とするセパレータ。
- 耐圧縮強さが、15~80Nである請求項1に記載のセパレータ。
- 前記ポリフェニレンサルファイド繊維の含有割合が、55~75質量%である請求項1または2に記載のセパレータ。
- 前記アラミド繊維の含有割合が、15~25質量%である請求項1または2に記載のセパレータ。
- 前記セルロース繊維の含有割合が、15~25質量%である請求項1または2に記載のセパレータ。
- 湿式不織布よりなる請求項1~5のいずれかに記載のセパレータ。
- 正極、負極、セパレータおよび非水電解液を含む非水電解液電池であって、
