Abstract
Description
中でも、ポリアミンとアルケニル化合物との付加反応により得られるアミン化合物は、未反応ポリアミン含有量が比較的低く低粘度であることから、該化合物を含むエポキシ樹脂硬化剤を用いたエポキシ樹脂組成物は良好な硬化物性能を与えることができる。
また特許文献3には、ジアミン又はポリアミンとスチレンとを反応させることによって得られる付加物を含むエポキシ樹脂用硬化剤が開示されている。
すなわち本発明は、下記[1]~[18]に関する。
[1]下記一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物。
(式(1)中、Aは1,2-フェニレン基、1,3-フェニレン基、又は1,4-フェニレン基である。)
[2]上記[1]に記載のアミン化合物を含有するアミン組成物。
[3]前記一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物の含有量が6.0質量%以上であり、かつ、活性水素当量が100未満である、上記[2]に記載のアミン組成物。

本発明のアミン化合物は、上記一般式(3)で示される原料ジアミンのベンジル位の水素がスチレン由来の基で置換された構造である。そのため本発明のアミン化合物には原料ジアミン由来の4つの活性水素がすべて残存しているので、前記特許文献1に示された構造を有する化合物よりも活性水素当量が低い。したがって本発明のアミン化合物及びこれを含有するアミン組成物をエポキシ樹脂硬化剤として用いると、エポキシ樹脂組成物への配合量を従来よりも少なくすることができるものである。
本発明のアミン化合物の製造方法(以下「本発明の製造方法」ともいう)は、下記一般式(3)で示されるジアミン(原料ジアミン)とスチレンとを、下記(c1)及び下記(c2)からなる群から選ばれるアルカリ金属含有触媒の存在下で付加反応させる工程を有することが好ましい。この方法を用いることにより、前記一般式(1)で示される本発明のアミン化合物を効率よく、かつ選択的に製造することができる。

(c1)カリウムアミド、ルビジウムアミド、及びセシウムアミドからなる群から選ばれる1種以上のアルカリ金属アミド
(c2)アルカリ金属アミドと、アルカリ金属アルコキシド、アルカリ金属水酸化物、アルカリ金属ハロゲン化物、及びアルカリ金属硝酸塩からなる群から選ばれる1種以上との組み合わせ
アルカリ金属含有触媒が所定のアルカリ金属アミドを含むことで、原料ジアミンとスチレンとの付加反応が効率よく進行する。
また、原料ジアミンとスチレンとの付加反応において、前記一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物以外に、下記一般式(2)で示されるアミン化合物も生成し得る。しかしながら当該付加反応を上記特定のアルカリ金属含有触媒の存在下で行うことで、前記一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物を高選択率で得ることができる。
また、該アルカリ金属含有触媒が前記(c2)である場合は、使用するアルカリ金属アミド、アルカリ金属アルコキシド、アルカリ金属水酸化物、アルカリ金属ハロゲン化物、及びアルカリ金属硝酸塩のうち1種以上の化合物におけるアルカリ金属がカリウム、ルビジウム、及びセシウムからなる群から選ばれる1種以上であることが好ましく、カリウムであることがより好ましい。特に、アルカリ金属アミド以外の化合物におけるアルカリ金属がカリウム、ルビジウム、及びセシウムからなる群から選ばれる1種以上であることが好ましい。
本発明の製造方法で用いるアルカリ金属含有触媒中、アルカリ金属がカリウム、ルビジウム、又はセシウムである化合物の含有量は、上記効果を得る観点から、アルカリ金属含有触媒中の全アルカリ金属を100モル%とした場合のカリウム、ルビジウム、及びセシウムの合計のモル%として、好ましくは10モル%以上、より好ましくは20モル%以上、さらに好ましくは30モル%以上、よりさらに好ましくは50モル%以上である。また、上限は100モル%である。
当該アルカリ金属アルコキシドとしては、例えば、リチウム、ナトリウム、カリウム、ルビジウム、及びセシウムからなる群から選ばれる1種以上のアルカリ金属の、メトキシド、エトキシド、n-プロポキシド、イソプロポキシド、n-ブトキシド、i-ブトキシド、sec-ブトキシド、及びt-ブトキシド等が挙げられる。これらの中でも、カリウムメトキシド、カリウムエトキシド、カリウムn-プロポキシド、カリウムイソプロポキシド、カリウムn-ブトキシド、カリウムi-ブトキシド、カリウムsec-ブトキシド、及びカリウムt-ブトキシドからなる群から選ばれる1種以上が好ましく、カリウムt-ブトキシドがより好ましい。
当該アルカリ金属ハロゲン化物としては、フッ化カリウム、塩化カリウム、臭化カリウム、ヨウ化カリウム、フッ化ルビジウム、塩化ルビジウム、臭化ルビジウム、ヨウ化ルビジウム、フッ化セシウム、塩化セシウム、臭化セシウム、及びヨウ化セシウムからなる群から選ばれる1種以上がより好ましく、フッ化カリウム、塩化カリウム、臭化カリウム、及びヨウ化カリウムからなる群から選ばれる1種以上がさらに好ましく、塩化カリウムがよりさらに好ましい。
前記(c2)における、以上のアルカリ金属アルコキシド、アルカリ金属水酸化物、アルカリ金属ハロゲン化物、及びアルカリ金属硝酸塩は、1種を単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いることもできる。
アルカリ金属含有触媒を分割添加する場合、分割回数には特に制限はないが、通常2~10回の範囲であり、作業性の観点から好ましくは2~5回の範囲である。
原料ジアミンとアルカリ金属含有触媒との予備反応は、例えば反応器内に原料ジアミンとアルカリ金属含有触媒とを仕込み、窒素ガス等の不活性雰囲気下で、攪拌しながら加熱することにより行うことができる。
原料ジアミンとアルカリ金属含有触媒との予備反応時間は、好ましくは20~360分、より好ましくは30~120分である。予備反応時間が20分以上であれば、原料ジアミンが十分に活性化され、その後の付加反応が効率よく進行する。また360分以下であれば、生産性の点で有利である。
また、付加反応時間には特に制限はなく、使用する触媒の種類や反応条件等に応じて適宜選択できる。例えば、付加反応中に反応液のサンプリングを行い、ガスクロマトグラフィーや液体クロマトグラフィー等で未反応スチレンの定量を行い、未反応スチレンが1質量%以下になるまでの時間とすることができる。付加反応時間は、通常、スチレンの添加が終了してから、好ましくは10~180分、より好ましくは20~120分である。上記付加反応時間が10分以上であれば未反応原料の残存が少なく、180分以下であれば生産性の点で有利である。
アルカリ金属含有触媒は、その種類に応じて、濾過、水洗、吸着等により除去することができる。例えばアルカリ金属含有触媒がアルカリ金属アミドである場合は、塩酸、塩化水素ガス、酢酸などの酸、メタノール、エタノール等のアルコール、あるいは水等を加えてアルカリ金属アミドを除去容易な塩等に変えてから濾過することが可能である。例えば水を用いた場合には、アルカリ金属アミドが水酸化物となり、濾過が容易になる。
該混合物中には、前記一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物の他、前記一般式(2)で示されるアミン化合物、原料ジアミン1モルとスチレン2モルとが付加した1:2付加体、原料ジアミン1モルとスチレン3モルとが付加した1:3付加体、原料ジアミン1モルとスチレン4モルとが付加した1:4付加体等の付加体が含まれることがある。この場合は、例えば、蒸留などにより目的化合物を分離、精製できる。
本発明のアミン組成物は、前記一般式(1)で示される本発明のアミン化合物を含有することを特徴とする。これにより、本発明のアミン組成物の活性水素当量を低くすることができるので、該組成物をエポキシ樹脂硬化剤として使用した際にはエポキシ樹脂組成物への配合量が少なくても十分な硬化性を有し、良好な硬化物性能を与えることができる。
アミン組成物中の前記一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物の含有量は、ガスクロマトグラフィー(GC)分析により求めることができ、具体的には実施例に記載の方法で求められる。またアミン組成物のAHEWは滴定法により測定することができ、具体的には実施例に記載の方法で測定できる。
本発明のアミン組成物が前記一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物及び前記一般式(2)で示されるアミン化合物の両方を含有している場合、前記一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物と前記一般式(2)で示されるアミン化合物の合計含有量を100質量%とした場合の、該一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物の含有量[(1)/{(1)+(2)}]は、好ましくは15質量%以上、より好ましくは30質量%以上、さらに好ましくは40質量%以上、よりさらに好ましくは50質量%以上であり、かつ、好ましくは100質量%未満である。一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物の含有量比[(1)/{(1)+(2)}]が15質量%以上であると、アミン組成物のAHEWの値が下がりやすく、エポキシ樹脂硬化剤として使用した際の硬化性がより良好になる。

この際のアミン組成物の製造方法における好ましい態様は、前記本発明のアミン化合物の製造方法において記載したものと同じである。前述したように、原料ジアミンとスチレンとの付加反応においてアルカリ金属含有触媒を分割添加する方法を採用すると、付加反応におけるスチレン反応率が向上するとともに、着色が少なく色調が良好なアミン組成物を得ることができる。
本発明のエポキシ樹脂硬化剤は、前述した本発明のアミン化合物、又は本発明のアミン組成物を含有することを特徴とする。
本発明のアミン化合物、又は本発明のアミン組成物をエポキシ樹脂硬化剤に使用する場合には、該アミン化合物又は該アミン組成物をエポキシ樹脂硬化剤として単独で使用してもよいし、活性水素を有する他のポリアミン等の、他の硬化剤成分と混合して使用してもよい。
本発明のアミン化合物をエポキシ樹脂硬化剤に使用する場合には、該アミン化合物をさらに変性して使用することもできる。
当該ポリアミン化合物としては、前記一般式(3)で示されるジアミンの他、例えば、エチレンジアミン、ジエチレントリアミン、トリエチレンテトラミン、テトラエチレンペンタミン、ペンタエチレンヘキサミン、ヘキサメチレンジアミン等の鎖状脂肪族ポリアミン化合物;1,2-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,3-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,4-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、メンセンジアミン、イソホロンジアミン、ノルボルナンジアミン、1,4-ジアミノ-3,6-ジエチルシクロヘキサン等の脂環式構造を有するポリアミン化合物;フェニレンジアミン、ジアミノジフェニルメタン、ジアミノジフェニルスルホン等の芳香族ポリアミン化合物;N-アミノメチルピペラジン、N-アミノエチルピペラジン等の複素環式構造を有するポリアミン化合物;ポリエーテルポリアミン化合物等が挙げられる。これらは1種を単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。上記の中でも、当該ポリアミン化合物としては前記一般式(3)で示されるジアミン及び脂環式構造を有するポリアミン化合物からなる群から選ばれる1種以上が好ましく、o-キシリレンジアミン、m-キシリレンジアミン、p-キシリレンジアミン、1,2-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,3-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,4-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、及びイソホロンジアミンからなる群から選ばれる1種以上がより好ましい。
ポリアミン化合物の変性体としては、例えば(i)ポリアミン化合物とエポキシ化合物との反応生成物、(ii)ポリアミン化合物、フェノール系化合物、及びアルデヒド化合物のマンニッヒ反応生成物、(iii)ポリアミン化合物とカルボキシ基含有化合物との反応生成物、(iv)ポリアミン化合物とアクリル系化合物とのマイケル付加反応物、及び、(v)上記(i)~(iv)を組み合わせた反応生成物が挙げられる。
上記の中でも、ポリアミン化合物の変性体としては上記(i)及び(ii)からなる群から選ばれる1種以上のポリアミン変性体が好ましい。
(i)ポリアミン化合物とエポキシ化合物との反応生成物
(ii)ポリアミン化合物、フェノール系化合物、及びアルデヒド化合物のマンニッヒ反応生成物
以下の記載において、上記(i)のポリアミン変性体を「ポリアミン変性体(i)」、上記(ii)のポリアミン変性体を「ポリアミン変性体(ii)」という。
ポリアミン変性体(i)は、ポリアミン化合物とエポキシ化合物との反応により得られる反応生成物である。ポリアミン変性体(i)の具体例としては、例えば、ポリアミン化合物とエピクロロヒドリンとの反応生成物(以下、「ポリアミン変性体(i-1)」ともいう)や、ポリアミン化合物と分子中に少なくとも2つのエポキシ基を有する化合物との反応生成物(以下、「ポリアミン変性体(i-2)」ともいう)が挙げられる。
ポリアミン変性体(i)に用いられるポリアミン化合物については前述のとおりであり、前記一般式(3)で示されるジアミン及び脂環式構造を有するポリアミン化合物からなる群から選ばれる1種以上が好ましく、より好ましくはo-キシリレンジアミン、m-キシリレンジアミン、p-キシリレンジアミン、1,2-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,3-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,4-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、及びイソホロンジアミンからなる群から選ばれる1種以上である。中でも、m-キシリレンジアミン、p-キシリレンジアミン、1,3-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,4-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、及びイソホロンジアミンからなる群から選ばれる1種以上が好ましく、m-キシリレンジアミン及びイソホロンジアミンからなる群から選ばれる1種以上がより好ましい。
ポリアミン変性体(i-1)は、高い硬化速度向上効果を発現する観点から、前記一般式(3)で示されるジアミンとエピクロロヒドリンとの反応生成物であることが好ましく、下記一般式(4)で示される化合物を主成分として含むことがより好ましい。ここでいう「主成分」とは、ポリアミン変性体(i-1)中の全構成成分を100質量%とした場合、その含有量が50質量%以上である成分をいう。
(式(4)中、Aは前記と同じである。nは1~12の数である。)
ポリアミン変性体(i-1)中の上記一般式(4)で示される化合物の含有量は、好ましくは60質量%以上、より好ましくは70質量%以上、さらに好ましくは75質量%以上、よりさらに好ましくは85質量%以上である。また、上限は100質量%である。
また、硬化剤としての良好な硬化性能を得る観点からは、上記一般式(4)で示される化合物の中でも、n=1の化合物が占める割合が高いことが好ましい。ポリアミン変性体(i-1)中の、上記一般式(4)で示されるn=1の化合物の含有量としては、好ましくは15質量%以上、より好ましくは20質量%以上、さらに好ましくは25質量%以上である。
ポリアミン変性体(i-1)中の上記一般式(4)で示される化合物の含有量、及び上記一般式(4)で示される化合物の組成は、GC分析及びゲルろ過クロマトグラフィー(GPC)分析により求めることができる。
当該付加反応は公知の方法で行うことができ、その方法は特に制限されないが、反応効率の観点から、当該付加反応は塩基性触媒の存在下で行われることが好ましい。塩基性触媒としてはアルカリ金属水酸化物が好ましく、水酸化カリウム及び水酸化ナトリウムからなる群から選ばれる1種以上がより好ましく、水酸化ナトリウムがさらに好ましい。
エピクロロヒドリンの添加時の温度は、好ましくは40~100℃、より好ましくは50~80℃である。エピクロロヒドリンの添加終了後、反応効率向上のために反応温度を上げてもよく、付加反応時の温度は、好ましくは55~120℃である。
付加反応時間には特に制限はなく、通常、エピクロロヒドリンの添加が終了してから、好ましくは10分~6時間、より好ましくは20分~4時間である。
ポリアミン変性体(i-2)は、ポリアミン化合物と分子中に少なくとも2つのエポキシ基を有する化合物とを反応させて得られる反応生成物である。好ましいポリアミン化合物は前記のとおりである。
分子中に少なくとも2つのエポキシ基を有する化合物(以下「原料エポキシ化合物」ともいう)の具体例としては、ブチルジグリシジルエーテル、ネオペンチルグリコールジグリシジルエーテル、1,3-プロパンジオールジグリシジルエーテル、1,4-ブタンジオールジグリシジルエーテル、1,6-ヘキサンジオールジグリシジルエーテル、ビフェノールジグリシジルエーテル、ジヒドロキシナフタレンジグリシジルエーテル、ジヒドロキシアントラセンジグリシジルエーテル、トリグリシジルイソシアヌレート、テトラグリシジルグリコールウリル、メタキシリレンジアミンから誘導されたグリシジルアミノ基を有する多官能エポキシ樹脂、1,3-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサンから誘導されたグリシジルアミノ基を有する多官能エポキシ樹脂、ジアミノジフェニルメタンから誘導されたグリシジルアミノ基を有する多官能エポキシ樹脂、パラアミノフェノールから誘導されたグリシジルアミノ基を有する多官能エポキシ樹脂、パラアミノフェノールから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有する多官能エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールAから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有する多官能エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールFから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有する多官能エポキシ樹脂、フェノールノボラックから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有する多官能エポキシ樹脂、及びレゾルシノールから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を2つ以上有する多官能エポキシ樹脂等が挙げられる。これらは1種を単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。
硬化性、得られるエポキシ樹脂組成物の硬化物性能の点からは、原料エポキシ化合物としては分子中に芳香環又は脂環式構造を含む化合物がより好ましく、分子中に芳香環を含む化合物がさらに好ましく、ビスフェノールAから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有する多官能エポキシ樹脂がよりさらに好ましい。
ポリアミン変性体(ii)は、ポリアミン化合物、フェノール系化合物、及びアルデヒド化合物をマンニッヒ反応させて得られる反応生成物である。ポリアミン変性体(ii)に用いられるポリアミン化合物としては、前記一般式(3)で示されるジアミン及び脂環式構造を有するポリアミン化合物からなる群から選ばれる1種以上が好ましく、より好ましくはo-キシリレンジアミン、m-キシリレンジアミン、p-キシリレンジアミン、1,3-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,4-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン、及びイソホロンジアミンからなる群から選ばれる1種以上である。中でも、m-キシリレンジアミン及びp-キシリレンジアミンからなる群から選ばれる1種以上が好ましく、m-キシリレンジアミンがより好ましい。特にm-キシリレンジアミンを用いたポリアミン変性体(ii)は、エポキシ樹脂硬化剤としての硬化性が良好であり、得られるエポキシ樹脂組成物の硬化物性能にも優れるため好ましい。
マンニッヒ反応におけるポリアミン化合物、フェノール系化合物、及びアルデヒド化合物の使用量は、得られる変性体が活性水素を有するアミノ基を含有するような比率であれば特に制限されないが、好ましくは以下の範囲である。
アルデヒド化合物は、ポリアミン化合物1モルに対し、好ましくは0.3~2モル、より好ましくは0.5~1.5モルの範囲で使用される。ポリアミン化合物1モルに対するアルデヒド化合物の使用量が0.3モル以上であれば付加反応が充分進行し、2モル以下であれば、得られる反応生成物の粘度が過度に上がりすぎず、作業性が良好になる。またフェノール系化合物は、ポリアミン化合物1モルに対し、好ましくは0.3~2モル、より好ましくは0.5~1.5モルの範囲で使用される。ポリアミン化合物1モルに対するフェノール系化合物の使用量が0.3モル以上であれば硬化塗膜の外観が良好になり、2モル以下であれば、エポキシ樹脂硬化剤としての硬化性能が良好である。
硬化促進剤としては、アミノ基、水酸基、及びカルボキシ基からなる群から選ばれる1種以上の官能基を有する有機化合物が好ましい。例えば、ジメチルエチルアミン、トリエチルアミン等の、アミノ基を有する有機化合物;フェノール、ベンジルアルコール、スチレン化フェノール、ビスフェノールA等の、水酸基を有する有機化合物;蟻酸、酢酸、プロピオン酸、酪酸等の、カルボキシ基を有する有機化合物;アミノエタノール、2-ジメチルアミノメチルフェノール、2,4,6-トリス(ジメチルアミノメチル)フェノール等の、アミノ基及び水酸基を有する有機化合物;乳酸、リンゴ酸、酒石酸、サリチル酸、ジヒドロキシ安息香酸、トリヒドロキシ安息香酸、2-ヒドロキシ-3-イソプロピル安息香酸、ヒドロキシナフトエ酸、ジヒドロキシナフトエ酸、ヒドロキシメトキシナフトエ酸等の、水酸基及びカルボキシ基を有する有機化合物;が挙げられる。これらの硬化促進剤は、1種を単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。また上記硬化促進剤は、エポキシ樹脂硬化剤への溶解性、及び硬化促進効果の観点から、炭素数が好ましくは2~50、より好ましくは2~40、さらに好ましくは6~30の範囲である。
上記の中でも、硬化促進剤は少なくとも水酸基を有する有機化合物であることが好ましく、水酸基を有する有機化合物、及び、水酸基及びカルボキシ基を有する有機化合物からなる群から選ばれる1種以上がより好ましく、エポキシ樹脂硬化剤への溶解性、及び硬化促進効果の観点からは、スチレン化フェノール及びサリチル酸からなる群から選ばれる1種以上がさらに好ましい。
スチレン化フェノールは下記構造式で示される化合物であり、下記式におけるmは1~5、好ましくは1~3である。スチレン化フェノールは、下記構造式におけるmの数が異なる化合物の混合物でもよい。
本発明のエポキシ樹脂硬化剤は、水系エポキシ樹脂用の硬化剤としても使用できる。本明細書において「水系エポキシ樹脂」とは、水溶性エポキシ樹脂、又は、水分散液の状態で用いられるエポキシ樹脂をいう。水系エポキシ樹脂については後述するが、本発明に用いられる水系エポキシ樹脂としてはエポキシ樹脂エマルジョンが好ましい。
水系エポキシ樹脂用硬化剤としては、前述した本発明のアミン化合物、又は本発明のアミン組成物を含有するものであれば特に制限はなく、例えば、前述したエポキシ樹脂硬化剤と同様の硬化剤を用いることができる。
中でも、水系エポキシ樹脂用硬化剤中の前記アミン組成物の含有量は、好ましくは30質量%以上、より好ましくは50質量%以上、さらに好ましくは70質量%以上、よりさらに好ましくは85質量%以上である。また、上限は100質量%である。水系エポキシ樹脂用硬化剤中の前記アミン組成物の含有量が30質量%以上であると、当該硬化剤を用いた水系エポキシ樹脂組成物の硬化塗膜の耐水性、外観性、及び硬度が良好になる。
本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、前述した本発明のエポキシ樹脂硬化剤と、エポキシ樹脂とを含有するものである。本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物は非水系エポキシ樹脂組成物、水系エポキシ樹脂組成物のいずれでもよい。以下の記載において、特に言及しない限り、非水系エポキシ樹脂組成物と水系エポキシ樹脂組成物とをまとめて「本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物」という。
また、水系エポキシ樹脂組成物は有機溶剤を含まないことが好ましく、その含有量は、好ましくは10質量%以下、より好ましくは5質量%以下、さらに好ましくは2質量%以下である。
該エポキシ樹脂の具体例としては、メタキシリレンジアミンから誘導されたグリシジルアミノ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、1,3-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサンから誘導されたグリシジルアミノ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、ジアミノジフェニルメタンから誘導されたグリシジルアミノ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、パラアミノフェノールから誘導されたグリシジルアミノ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、パラアミノフェノールから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールAから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールFから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、フェノールノボラックから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、及びレゾルシノールから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂からなる群から選ばれる1種以上の樹脂が挙げられる。柔軟性や耐衝撃性、耐湿熱性などの諸性能を向上させるために、上記の種々のエポキシ樹脂を2種以上混合して使用することもできる。
なお、「主成分」とは、本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で他の成分を含みうることを意味し、好ましくは全体の50~100質量%、より好ましくは70~100質量%、さらに好ましくは90~100質量%を意味する。
エポキシ樹脂エマルジョンは、例えば、エポキシ樹脂を水中に乳化分散したものが挙げられる。当該エポキシ樹脂としては、自己乳化型エポキシ樹脂、非自己乳化型エポキシ樹脂のいずれも用いることができる。
非自己乳化型エポキシ樹脂を用いる場合は、例えば、非自己乳化型エポキシ樹脂を乳化剤の存在下で水中に分散させてエポキシ樹脂エマルジョンを調製することができる。乳化剤は、アニオン性乳化剤、ノニオン性乳化剤及びカチオン性乳化剤のいずれでもよいが、硬化剤の選択幅が広いという点からはノニオン性乳化剤が好ましい。
エポキシ樹脂エマルジョンに用いられるエポキシ樹脂の具体例としては、メタキシリレンジアミンから誘導されたグリシジルアミノ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、1,3-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサンから誘導されたグリシジルアミノ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、ジアミノジフェニルメタンから誘導されたグリシジルアミノ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、パラアミノフェノールから誘導されたグリシジルアミノ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、パラアミノフェノールから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールAから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールFから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、フェノールノボラックから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂、及びレゾルシノールから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂からなる群から選ばれる1種以上の樹脂が挙げられる。
エポキシ樹脂を乳化剤の存在下で水中に分散させたエポキシ樹脂エマルジョンの場合、当該エマルジョンから分散媒を除いた成分(固形分)のエポキシ当量も上記範囲であることが好ましい。
エポキシ樹脂エマルジョンに用いるエポキシ樹脂は、1種を単独で使用してもよいし、2種以上を併用してもよい。
本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物の製造方法には特に制限はなく、エポキシ樹脂硬化剤、エポキシ樹脂、及び必要に応じ他の成分を公知の方法及び装置を用いて混合し、製造することができる。
本発明はまた、前記本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物を含有する塗料、接着剤、床材、及び封止剤を提供する。該塗料としては、例えば防食用塗料が好ましいものとして挙げられる。本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、良好な硬化物性能を有しており、耐水性や耐薬品性にも優れる。そのため、該エポキシ樹脂組成物は防食用塗料等の各種塗料、接着剤、床材、封止剤等に好適に用いられる。
本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物の硬化物(以下、単に「本発明の硬化物」ともいう)は、上述した本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物を公知の方法で硬化させたものである。エポキシ樹脂組成物の硬化条件は用途、形態に応じて適宜選択され、特に限定されない。
本発明の硬化物の形態も特に限定されず、用途に応じて選択することができる。例えばエポキシ樹脂組成物が各種塗料用途である場合、当該硬化物は通常、膜状の硬化物である。当該硬化物が床材である場合も通常、膜状の硬化物であり、当該硬化物が封止剤である場合は通常、シート状の硬化物である。本発明の硬化物が膜状やシート状の硬化物であると、良好な硬化物性能を発揮できる点で好ましい。
本発明の硬化物が膜状又はシート状の硬化物である場合、その厚みは特に制限されず、例えば0.5μm~5mmの範囲で用途に応じて選択できる。
スチレン反応率、アミン組成物中の各成分の含有量比の測定は、GC分析により以下の条件で行った。

アミン組成物の活性水素当量(AHEW)は、以下に記載する滴定法により測定した。
自動電位差滴定装置「AT-610」(京都電子工業(株)製)を用いてアミン組成物の全アミン価、2、3級アミン価をそれぞれ測定した。全アミン価は、0.1mol/L過塩素酸・酢酸溶液(関東化学(株)製)で電位差滴定を行い、測定した。2、3級アミン価は試料をイソプロパノール(関東化学(株)製)に溶かし、サリチルアルデヒドを加えて30分放置した後に0.1mol/lの2-プロパノール性塩酸(和光純薬工業(株)製)で電位差滴定を行い、測定した。これらの結果からAHEWを算出した。
但し、実施例A-4~A-6及びA-10~A-11で得られたアミン組成物のAHEWについては、前記GC分析によりアミン組成物中の各成分の含有量比を求め、その結果からアミン組成物のAHEWを算出した。
E型粘度計「TVE-22H型粘度計 コーンプレートタイプ」(東機産業(株)製)を用いて、25℃におけるアミン組成物の粘度を測定した。
色彩・濁度同時測定器「COH400」日本電色工業株式会社製)を用いて、JIS K0071-2に準拠した方法でアミン組成物のガードナー色数を測定した。
実施例A-1
1Lの4口セパラブルフラスコに、攪拌機、アリーン式冷却器、熱電対、及び窒素導入管を取り付け、窒素置換した後に、原料ジアミンであるメタキシリレンジアミン(三菱ガス化学(株)製、MXDA)408.6g(3.0モル)を加えた。続いて、アルカリ金属含有触媒であるナトリウムアミド(和光純薬工業(株)製)4.9g及びカリウムt-ブトキシド(東京化成工業(株)製)14.0gを簡易グローブボックス内でポリエチレンボトル中に秤量し、フラスコ内に速やかに添加した。使用するMXDA及びスチレンの合計を100質量%(100モル%)とした場合の触媒量は、それぞれ、NaNH2が0.68質量%(2.1モル%)、カリウムt-ブトキシドが1.95質量%(2.1モル%)であった。フラスコ内を攪拌しながら液温が80℃になるようにマントルヒーターで加温し、80℃に到達してから10分後にフラスコ内の液色が無色から濃紫色に変化したことを目視で確認した。液色が濃紫色に変化した後、80℃で40分加熱した。
加熱後、窒素導入管を取り外し、滴下ろうとを取り付けた。加熱及び攪拌を続けながら滴下ろうとからスチレン312.5g(3.0モル)を2時間かけて滴下し、滴下終了後、80℃で30分間、加熱下で攪拌し、メタキシリレンジアミンとスチレンとを反応させた。反応液に水を加えて反応を停止させた後、この溶液にセライト503(関東化学(株)製)を25g加え、75~80℃で1時間撹拌した。攪拌後、室温まで冷却した後ガラスフィルターでろ過し、粗生成物を得た。スチレン反応率は100%であった。
次いで、上記粗生成物を1Lの4口丸底フラスコに移し、マグネットドライブ真空攪拌機、熱電対、及びリービッヒ冷却器を取り付け、温度60℃、圧力90hPaの条件下で脱水を行った。水の留出が止まった後、1hPa以下に減圧し、140℃で未反応原料であるメタキシリレンジアミンの留去を行った。冷却後、溶液にセライト503(関東化学(株)製)を加えて撹拌した後、ガラスフィルターでろ過して、メタキシリレンジアミンとスチレンとの付加体を含むアミン組成物Aを得た。
また、図2はFI+モードでGC-MS分析を行った際の、化合物(1-1)のマススペクトルのチャートであり、m/z=240のピークはMXDAとスチレンとの1:1付加体のピークと判断した。

実施例A-2において、使用するアルカリ金属含有触媒のうちカリウムt-ブトキシドの代わりに塩化カリウム(関東化学(株)製)を13.8g(0.185モル)使用したこと以外は、実施例A-2と同様の方法でアミン組成物Eを製造した。分析結果を表1に示す。
実施例A-5において、使用するアルカリ金属含有触媒の量を表1に示すとおりに変更したこと以外は、実施例A-5と同様の方法でアミン組成物Fを製造した。分析結果を表1に示す。
実施例A-2において、使用するアルカリ金属含有触媒のうちカリウムt-ブトキシドの代わりに水酸化カリウム(関東化学(株)製)を10.4g(0.185モル)使用したこと以外は、実施例A-2と同様の方法でアミン組成物Gを製造した。分析結果を表1に示す。
市販のメタキシリレンジアミンとスチレンとの付加物(三菱瓦斯化学(株)製「GASKAMINE240」、AHEW103)と、実施例A-1で得られたアミン組成物Aとを、表1に示す組成比となるよう混合し、アミン組成物Hを製造した。結果を表1に示す。
実施例A-1において、使用するアルカリ金属含有触媒をリチウムアミド(関東化学(株)製)1.4g(0.061モル)及びカリウムt-ブトキシド(東京化成工業(株)製)7.0g(0.062モル)に変更したこと以外は、実施例A-1と同様の方法でアミン組成物Iを製造した。分析結果を表1に示す。
実施例A-1において、使用するアルカリ金属含有触媒の量、及び反応温度を表1に示すとおりに変更したこと以外は、実施例A-1と同様の方法でアミン組成物J,Kを製造した。分析結果を表1に示す。
実施例A-1において、使用するアルカリ金属含有触媒の量を表1に示すとおりに変更したこと以外は、実施例A-1と同様の方法でアミン組成物Lを製造した。分析結果を表1に示す。
実施例A-12において、アルカリ金属含有触媒を2回に分割して添加し、アミン組成物Mを製造した。具体的な手順は以下の通りである。
1Lの4口セパラブルフラスコに、攪拌機、アリーン式冷却器、熱電対、及び窒素導入管を取り付け、窒素置換した後に、原料ジアミンであるメタキシリレンジアミン(三菱ガス化学(株)製、MXDA)408.6g(3.0モル)を加えた。続いて、アルカリ金属含有触媒であるナトリウムアミド(和光純薬工業(株)製)1.8g及びカリウムt-ブトキシド(東京化成工業(株)製)2.6gを簡易グローブボックス内でポリエチレンボトル中に秤量し、フラスコ内に速やかに添加した。フラスコ内を攪拌しながら液温が80℃になるようにマントルヒーターで加温し、80℃に到達してから10分後にフラスコ内の液色が無色から濃紫色に変化したことを目視で確認した。液色が濃紫色に変化した後、80℃で40分加熱した。
加熱後、窒素導入管を取り外し、滴下ろうとを取り付けた。加熱及び攪拌を続けながら滴下ろうとからスチレン156.25g(1.5モル)を1時間かけて滴下し、滴下終了後、再びアルカリ金属含有触媒であるナトリウムアミド1.8g及びカリウムt-ブトキシド2.6gを簡易グローブボックス内でポリエチレンボトル中に秤量し、フラスコ内に速やかに添加した。使用するMXDA及びスチレンの合計を100質量%(100モル%)とした場合の合計の触媒量は、それぞれ、NaNH2が0.5質量%(1.5モル%)、カリウムt-ブトキシドが0.72質量%(0.77モル%)であった。その後再び加熱及び攪拌を続けながら滴下ろうとからスチレン156.25g(1.5モル)を1時間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、80℃で30分間、加熱下で攪拌し、メタキシリレンジアミンとスチレンとを反応させた。反応液に水を加えて反応を停止させた後、この溶液にセライト503(関東化学(株)製)を25g加え、75~80℃で1時間撹拌した。攪拌後、室温まで冷却した後ガラスフィルターでろ過し、粗生成物を得た。スチレン反応率は100%であった。
次いで、上記粗生成物を1Lの4口丸底フラスコに移し、マグネットドライブ真空攪拌機、熱電対、及びリービッヒ冷却器を取り付け、温度60℃、圧力90hPaの条件下で脱水を行った。水の留出が止まった後、1hPa以下に減圧し、140℃で未反応原料であるメタキシリレンジアミンの留去を行った。冷却後、溶液にセライト503(関東化学(株)製)を加えて撹拌した後、ガラスフィルターでろ過して、メタキシリレンジアミンとスチレンとの付加体を含むアミン組成物Mを得た。
アミン組成物Mの分析結果を表1に示す。
なお、実施例A-12及び実施例A-13の結果を比較すると、触媒を分割添加した実施例A-13の方がスチレン反応率が高かった。また、実施例A-13で得られたアミン組成物Mの方がガードナー色数も低い値であり、より低着色のアミン組成物が得られることが判った。
原料ジアミンとしてMXDAの代わりに1,3-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサンを用いて、スチレンとの付加物の製造を試みた。
2Lの4口セパラブルフラスコに、攪拌機、アリーン式冷却器、熱電対、及び窒素導入管を取り付け、窒素置換した後に、1,3-ビス(アミノメチル)シクロヘキサン(三菱ガス化学(株)製、1,3-BAC)426.6g(3.0モル)を加えた。続いて、アルカリ金属含有触媒であるナトリウムアミド(和光純薬工業(株)製)7.2g(0.31モル)及びカリウムt-ブトキシド(東京化成工業(株)製)10.86g(0.097モル)を簡易グローブボックス内でポリエチレンボトル中に秤量し、フラスコ内に速やかに添加した。使用する1,3-BAC及びスチレンの合計を100質量%(100モル%)とした場合の触媒量は、それぞれ、NaNH2が1.0質量%(3.1モル%)、カリウムt-ブトキシドが1.5質量%(1.6モル%)である。フラスコ内を攪拌しながら液温が100℃になるようにマントルヒーターで加温し、120分加熱攪拌した。途中、フラスコ内の液色が無色から赤紫色に変化したことを目視で確認した。
加熱後、窒素導入管を取り外し、滴下ろうとを取り付けた。加熱及び攪拌を続けながら滴下ろうとからスチレン312.5g(3.0モル)を2時間かけて滴下し、滴下終了後、100℃で30分間、加熱下で攪拌し、1,3-BACとスチレンとを反応させた。反応液に水を加えて反応を停止させた後、この溶液にセライト503を25g加え、75~80℃で1時間撹拌した。攪拌後、室温まで冷却した後ガラスフィルターでろ過し、粗生成物を得た。スチレン反応率は43%であった。
しかしながら粗生成物をGC分析したところ、1,3-BACのアミノ基の活性水素がスチレンで置換された生成物は得られたが、1,3-BACのアミノメチル基のメチレンの水素がスチレンで置換された構造の生成物は得られなかった。
次に、実施例A-1、A-2及びA-8で得られたアミン組成物A、B及びHをエポキシ樹脂硬化剤として使用して以下の要領でエポキシ樹脂組成物を製造し、23℃、50%R.H.におけるポットライフ、塗膜の外観性、硬化速度、鉛筆硬度、耐水スポット試験及び耐薬品性評価を行った(評価1)。
(エポキシ樹脂組成物の製造)
ビスフェノールAから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂(三菱化学(株)製「jER828」、エポキシ当量:186g/当量、固形分濃度:100質量%)を主剤のエポキシ樹脂として用いた。この主剤100質量部に対し、実施例A-1,A-2及びA-8で得られた各アミン組成物を、該アミン組成物中の活性水素数と、エポキシ樹脂中のエポキシ基の数が等モルとなるよう配合し、攪拌して、エポキシ樹脂組成物を得た。評価1に用いたエポキシ樹脂組成物の配合比を表2に示す。
前記エポキシ樹脂組成物50gをポリプロピレン製カップに入れ、23℃、50%R.H.の条件下で保存し、最高発熱温度への到達時間を測定した。結果を表2に示す。
基材であるリン酸亜鉛処理鉄板(パルテック(株)製;SPCC-SD PB-N144 0.8×70×150mm)上に、23℃、50%R.H.条件下、前記エポキシ樹脂組成物をアプリケーターを用いて塗布し、塗膜を形成した(塗布直後の厚み:200μm)。得られた塗膜の1日経過後の外観を目視観察して、透明性、平滑性、及び光沢性を以下の基準で評価した。
<透明性>
Ex:濁りがない
G:わずかに濁りがあるが、使用上問題ない
P:白濁している
<平滑性>
Ex:凹凸がない
G:わずかに凹凸があるが、使用上問題ない
P:凹凸あり
<光沢性>
Ex:光沢あり
G:やや光沢が劣るが、使用上問題ない
P:光沢なし
ガラス板(太佑機材(株)製 25×348×2.0mm)上に、23℃、50%R.H.条件下、前記エポキシ樹脂組成物を76μmのアプリケーターを用いて塗布し、塗膜を形成した。塗膜を形成したガラス板を塗料乾燥時間測定器(太佑機材(株)製)にセットし、測定器の針が塗膜表面を引っかいた際の条痕を観察して、各乾燥段階(指触乾燥、半乾燥、完全乾燥)への到達時間を以下の基準で測定した。結果を表2に示す。時間が短い方が、硬化速度が速いことを示す。
<硬化速度>
指触乾燥:ガラス板上に針の跡が残り始める時間
半乾燥:針が塗膜の中から塗膜表面上に浮き出てくる時間
完全乾燥:塗膜上に針の跡が残らなくなる時間
前記と同様の方法で基材(リン酸亜鉛処理鉄板)上にエポキシ樹脂組成物を塗布して塗膜を形成した(塗布直後の厚み:200μm)。この塗膜を23℃、50%R.H.条件下で保存し、1、3、7日経過後にJIS K5600-5-4:1999に準拠して鉛筆硬度を測定した。結果を表2に示す。
前記と同様の方法で基材(リン酸亜鉛処理鉄板)上にエポキシ樹脂組成物を塗布して塗膜を形成した(塗布直後の厚み:200μm)。この塗膜を23℃、50%R.H.条件下で保存し、1、3、7日経過後に塗膜表面にスポイトで純水を2~3滴滴下し、その箇所を50mLスクリュー管瓶で蓋をした。24時間経過後に水を拭き取り、外観を目視観察して、以下の基準で評価した。結果を表2に示す。

G:わずかに変化はあるが、良好
P:変化あり
前記と同様の方法で基材(リン酸亜鉛処理鉄板)上にエポキシ樹脂組成物を塗布して塗膜を形成し(塗布直後の厚み:200μm)、非塗装部に錆止め塗料(関西ペイント(株)製ミリオンプライマー、ミリオンクリヤー)でシールしたものを試験片として用いた。使用した薬品は表2に示す通りである。この試験片を23℃、50%R.H.条件下で保存し、14日経過後の試験片について耐薬品性評価を行った。
塩水噴霧試験については、塩水噴霧試験機(スガ試験機(株)製「STP-90」、槽内温度35℃)に上記試験片を設置し、4週間塩水(濃度5質量%)を噴霧し続けた後、外観を目視観察して、以下の基準で評価した。
Ex:変化なし
G:わずかに変化はあるが、良好
P:変化あり
また、塩水以外の薬品浸漬試験については、表2に示す各薬液を調製して1Lのポリ容器に注ぎ入れ、上記試験片を約80mm浸漬させ、23℃条件下で4週間保存後に外観を目視観察して、以下の基準で評価した。

G:わずかに変化はあるが、良好
F:変化あり
次に、実施例A-1及びA-8で得られたアミン組成物A及びHをエポキシ樹脂硬化剤として使用して以下の要領でエポキシ樹脂組成物を製造し、10℃、80%R.H.の低温条件下における塗膜の外観性、硬化速度、鉛筆硬度、及び耐水スポット試験を行った(評価2)。
[評価2:10℃、80%R.H.における評価]
(エポキシ樹脂組成物の製造)
ビスフェノールFから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂(三菱化学(株)製「jER807」、エポキシ当量:169g/当量、固形分濃度:100質量%)を主剤のエポキシ樹脂として用いた。この主剤100質量部に対し、実施例A-1及びA-8で得られた各アミン組成物中の活性水素数と、エポキシ樹脂中のエポキシ基の数が等モルとなるよう配合し、攪拌して、エポキシ樹脂組成物を得た。評価2に用いたエポキシ樹脂組成物の配合比を表3に示す。
また、評価条件を10℃、80%R.H.条件下に変更したこと以外は、前記評価1と同様の方法で塗膜の外観性、硬化速度、鉛筆硬度、及び耐水スポット試験を行った。結果を表3に示す。
実施例A-13で得られたアミン組成物Mと、ポリアミン変性体(i-1)である、MXDAとエピクロロヒドリンとの反応生成物(三菱瓦斯化学(株)製「GASKAMINE328」、AHEW55)との混合物をエポキシ樹脂硬化剤として使用して以下の要領でエポキシ樹脂組成物を製造し、23℃、50%R.H.の条件下における塗膜の外観性、硬化速度、指触乾燥、鉛筆硬度、及び耐水スポット試験を行った(評価3)。

実施例D-1
ビスフェノールAから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂(三菱化学(株)製「jER828」、エポキシ当量:186g/当量、固形分濃度:100質量%)を主剤のエポキシ樹脂として用いた。この主剤100質量部に対し、実施例A-13で得られたアミン組成物Mを、該アミン組成物中の活性水素数と、エポキシ樹脂中のエポキシ基の数が等モルとなるよう配合し、攪拌して、エポキシ樹脂組成物を得た。
アミン組成物Mと、GASKAMINE328とを表4に示す配合比で混合した。当該混合物をエポキシ樹脂硬化剤として使用したこと以外は、実施例D-1と同様の方法でエポキシ樹脂組成物を製造した。
評価3に用いたエポキシ樹脂組成物の配合比を表4に示す。

P:不良(ハジキがある、又は全面に凹凸がある)

Ex:優秀(光沢あり)
G:良好(やや光沢が劣るが、使用上問題なし)
F:可(光沢が少ない)
P:不良(光沢なし)

前記と同様の方法で基材(リン酸亜鉛処理鉄板)上にエポキシ樹脂組成物を塗布して塗膜を形成した(塗布直後の厚み:200μm)。この塗膜を23℃、50%R.H.条件下で保存し、1、2、7日経過後にJIS K5600-5-4:1999に準拠して鉛筆硬度を測定した。結果を表4に示す。
前記と同様の方法で基材(リン酸亜鉛処理鉄板)上にエポキシ樹脂組成物を塗布して塗膜を形成した(塗布直後の厚み:200μm)。この塗膜を23℃、50%R.H.条件下で保存し、1、2、7日経過後に塗膜表面にスポイトで純水を2~3滴滴下し、その箇所を50mLスクリュー管瓶で蓋をした。24時間経過後に水を拭き取り、外観を目視観察して、以下の基準で評価した。結果を表4に示す。
Ex:優秀(水滴の痕跡がない)
G:良好(わずかに水滴の痕跡がある)
F:可(水滴の痕跡がある)
P:不良(水滴が広がった痕跡がある)
実施例A-13で得られたアミン組成物Mと、後述するポリアミン変性体との混合物をエポキシ樹脂硬化剤として使用して以下の要領でエポキシ樹脂組成物を製造し、23℃、50%R.H.の条件下における塗膜の外観性、硬化速度、指触乾燥、鉛筆硬度、及び耐水スポット試験を行った(評価4)。
(エポキシ樹脂組成物の製造)
実施例E-1
ビスフェノールAから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂(三菱化学(株)製「jER828」、エポキシ当量:186g/当量、固形分濃度:100質量%)を主剤のエポキシ樹脂として用いた。この主剤100質量部に対し、実施例A-13で得られたアミン組成物Mと、ポリアミン変性体(i-2)に相当する、イソホロンジアミンとビスフェノールAジグリシジルエーテルとの反応生成物のベンジルアルコール希釈品(AIR PRODUCTS社製「Ancamine 1618」)とを表5に示す配合比で混合した。当該混合物をエポキシ樹脂硬化剤として使用したこと以外は、実施例D-1と同様の方法でエポキシ樹脂組成物を製造した。
実施例E-1において、Ancamine 1618に代えて、ポリアミン変性体(ii)に相当する、メタキシリレンジアミン、p-tert-ブチルフェノール、及びホルムアルデヒドのマンニッヒ反応生成物((株)ADEKA製「EH-451K」)を用いたこと以外は実施例E-1と同様の方法でエポキシ樹脂組成物を製造した。
評価4に用いたエポキシ樹脂組成物の配合比を表5に示す。
実施例A-13で得られたアミン組成物Mと、硬化促進剤との混合物をエポキシ樹脂硬化剤として使用して以下の要領でエポキシ樹脂組成物を製造し、23℃、50%R.H.の条件下における塗膜の外観性、硬化速度、指触乾燥、鉛筆硬度、及び耐水スポット試験を行った(評価5)。
(エポキシ樹脂組成物の製造)
実施例F-1
ビスフェノールAから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有するエポキシ樹脂(三菱化学(株)製「jER828」、エポキシ当量:186g/当量、固形分濃度:100質量%)を主剤のエポキシ樹脂として用いた。この主剤100質量部に対し、実施例A-13で得られたアミン組成物Mと、硬化促進剤1であるサリチル酸とを表6に示す配合比で混合した。当該混合物をエポキシ樹脂硬化剤として使用したこと以外は、実施例D-1と同様の方法でエポキシ樹脂組成物を製造した。
実施例F-1において、サリチル酸に代えて、硬化促進剤2であるスチレン化フェノール(KUMHO PETROCHEMICAL社製「Kumanox-3110(MSP)」、平均分子量:220)を用いて、アミン組成物Mとスチレン化フェノールとを表6に示す配合比で混合した。当該混合物をエポキシ樹脂硬化剤として使用したこと以外は、実施例F-1と同様の方法でエポキシ樹脂組成物を製造した。
評価5に用いたエポキシ樹脂組成物の配合比を表6に示す。
Kumanox-3110(MSP)は下記構造式で示されるスチレン化フェノールであり、m=1~3である。
実施例A-13で得られたアミン組成物Mを水系エポキシ樹脂用硬化剤として使用して以下の要領でエポキシ樹脂組成物を製造し、23℃、50%R.H.の条件下における塗膜の外観性、硬化速度、指触乾燥、鉛筆硬度、及び耐水スポット試験を行った(評価6)。
(エポキシ樹脂組成物の製造)
実施例G-1
ビスフェノールAから誘導されたグリシジルオキシ基を有する固体エポキシ樹脂の水系エマルジョン(三菱化学(株)製、エマルジョン状態でのエポキシ当量:1020g/当量、エポキシ樹脂濃度:50質量%、水含有量:45質量%、その他の成分(乳化剤等)の含有量:5質量%)を主剤の水系エポキシ樹脂として用いた。この主剤100質量部に対し、実施例A-13で得られたアミン組成物Mを、該アミン組成物中の活性水素数と、水系エポキシ樹脂中のエポキシ基の数が等モルとなるよう配合し、攪拌して、水系エポキシ樹脂組成物を得た。
実施例G-1において、アミン組成物Mに代えて、市販のメタキシリレンジアミンとスチレンとの付加物(三菱瓦斯化学(株)製「GASKAMINE240」、AHEW103)を用いたこと以外は実施例G-1と同様の方法で水系エポキシ樹脂組成物を得た。
評価6に用いた水系エポキシ樹脂組成物の配合比を表7に示す。
Claims (18)
- 請求項1に記載のアミン化合物を含有するアミン組成物。
- 前記一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物の含有量が6.0質量%以上であり、かつ、活性水素当量が100未満である、請求項2に記載のアミン組成物。
- 前記一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物と前記一般式(2)で示されるアミン化合物の合計含有量を100質量%とした場合の、該一般式(1)で示されるアミン化合物の含有量が15質量%以上、100質量%未満である、請求項4に記載のアミン組成物。
- 下記一般式(3)で示されるジアミンとスチレンとを、下記(c1)及び下記(c2)からなる群から選ばれるアルカリ金属含有触媒の存在下で付加反応させる工程を有する、請求項1に記載のアミン化合物の製造方法。

- 前記付加反応において前記アルカリ金属含有触媒を分割添加する、請求項6~9のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- 請求項1のアミン化合物、又は、請求項2~5のいずれか1項に記載のアミン組成物を含有するエポキシ樹脂硬化剤。
- さらに、他の硬化剤成分としてポリアミン化合物の変性体を含有する、請求項11に記載のエポキシ樹脂硬化剤。
- さらに硬化促進剤を含有する、請求項11又は12に記載のエポキシ樹脂硬化剤。
- 水系エポキシ樹脂用硬化剤である、請求項11~13のいずれか1項に記載のエポキシ樹脂硬化剤。
- 請求項11~14のいずれか1項に記載のエポキシ樹脂硬化剤と、エポキシ樹脂とを含有するエポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 請求項15に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物を含有する塗料。
- 請求項15に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物を含有する接着剤。
