Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method of supplying a reducing gas containing hydrogen to a blast furnace shaft portion of an ironworks for the purpose of reducing the amount of CO 2 generated from the ironworks.
- the reason for supplying hydrogen gas not from the blast furnace tuyere but from the shaft part is that the limit amount of pulverized coal that can already be supplied is usually blown from the blast furnace tuyere.
- gas is supplied from the tuyere, efficient blast furnace operation is difficult both in terms of space volume and heat, so hydrogen is supplied from the blast furnace shaft part with little residual oxygen and sufficient heat. It is said that it is advantageous.
- Patent Documents 1 to 4 Other prior art documents related to gas supply to the blast furnace include Patent Documents 1 to 4 and Non-Patent Document 3.
- Patent Document 1 describes a technique for producing hydrogen by steam reforming a gas containing tar and methane using a catalyst.
- Patent Document 3 describes a technique for supplying a gas obtained by partially oxidizing natural gas or purified COG (coke oven gas) from a blast furnace shaft portion.
- Patent Document 4 describes either a non-reducing gas obtained by completely burning blast furnace gas or the like with air, a reducing gas obtained by indirectly heating blast furnace gas or the like, or a reducing gas having a high hydrogen concentration of 65%. A technique for supplying the blast furnace shaft portion as the preheating gas is described.
- Non-Patent Document 3 describes the result that the gas supplied to the center of the blast furnace does not reach even when the gas is supplied from the blast furnace shaft in an experiment using a blast furnace model.
- the current technology related to the supply of hydrogen gas to the blast furnace shaft part has a problem of uneven distribution of iron ore reduction rate in the blast furnace due to hydrogen gas.
- the main iron ore reduction reaction in the blast furnace is mainly that CO gas reduces iron oxide (iron ore) to produce metallic iron, and this reaction is an exothermic reaction.
- reduction of iron oxide with hydrogen gas is an endothermic reaction.
- the supply amount of hydrogen gas from the shaft portion is: It is limited to a sufficiently small value with respect to the tuyere supply gas amount.
- the gas blown from the shaft passes only in the vicinity of the furnace wall in the blast furnace, and the hydrogen reduction of iron ore. Only occurs in this area. If the hydrogen gas concentration is excessive in the vicinity of the furnace wall, the temperature of the iron ore will decrease rapidly due to the hydrogen reduction of the iron ore, making it impossible to maintain the temperature required for the reduction.
- the hydrogen gas supply amount that can be supplied is only allowed to be smaller than the above upper limit. Therefore, there is a problem that the ratio of hydrogen reduction in the blast furnace cannot be set sufficiently high due to restrictions on the hydrogen gas supply amount.
- the present invention can supply a large amount of reducing gas containing a high concentration of hydrogen to a deeper position in the blast furnace (a place closer to the central axis in the blast furnace radial direction). can be reduced CO 2 emissions that total the amount of CO 2 generated during reduction gas production supplied to CO 2 amount and blast furnace to be reduced by hydrogen smelting, the provision of the reducing gas supply method to the new blast furnace shaft portion Objective.
- the summary of the method of supplying the reducing gas to the blast furnace shaft portion according to the present invention is as follows. (1) A method of supplying a reducing gas containing hydrogen gas to a blast furnace shaft portion, wherein the temperature is raised to 1200 to 1800 ° C. in a reactor in which an oxygen-containing gas is supplied to a preheated coke oven gas, and the coke oven gas Then, a reformed gas enriched with hydrogen gas is generated, and a CO-containing gas is mixed with the reformed gas in the reactor so that the hydrogen concentration is 15 to 35% by volume (wet).
- Reducing gas to the blast furnace shaft portion wherein the adjusted reducing gas is supplied to the blast furnace shaft portion under the condition of the flow rate of the reducing gas blown into the shaft portion / the flow rate of the reducing gas blown into the tuyere> 0.42.
- Supply method (2)
- the oxygen-containing gas is oxygen gas, and the method of raising the temperature to 1200 to 1800 ° C. and reforming in the reactor is partial oxidation of the preheated coke oven gas, The reducing gas supply method to the blast furnace shaft part as described in said (1).
- (3) A method in which the oxygen-containing gas is water vapor generated by combustion of hydrocarbons and is reformed by raising the temperature to 1200 to 1800 ° C. in the reactor.
- More specific methods include, for example, the following. [1] a) Pressurizing the coke oven gas, b) adjusting the coke oven gas flow rate; c) preheating the coke oven gas; d) The preheated coke oven gas is heated to 1200 to 1800 ° C. in a reactor to which oxygen gas is supplied and reformed by partial oxidation to generate a reformed gas enriched in hydrogen gas. The reformed gas is mixed with a CO-containing gas in the reactor, and the hydrogen concentration of the reformed gas is adjusted to 15 to 35 volume% (wet) and the temperature is adjusted to 800 to 1000 ° C., and then supplied to the blast furnace shaft section.
- a process for producing hydrogen gas for reduction The method as described in said (1) containing.
- the CO concentration in the CO-containing gas is 50 volume% or more and less than 99 volume% (dry), the CO 2 concentration is 0 volume% (dry) or more and less than 1 volume% (dry), and the H 2 concentration is 0 volume%. (dry) or 35% by volume less than (dry), and, N 2 concentration is less than 1% by volume (dry) or 20% by volume (dry), the method according to [1].
- the CO-containing gas is a gas obtained by subjecting a blast furnace gas, a converter gas, or a synthesis gas to CO 2 removal treatment.
- [8] a) A step of increasing the hydrogen concentration by allowing the coke oven gas from the coke oven to pass through the carbonization furnace and decomposing the hydrocarbon in the coke oven gas into coke and hydrogen, b) a step of producing a first reformed gas by removing tar and at least a part of moisture in the gas passed through the carbonization furnace; c) increasing the pressure of the first reformed gas; d) preheating the pressurized first reformed gas; e) supplying the preheated first reformed gas to the partial oxidation reformer and supplying the combustion gas to the partial oxidation reformer to further remove hydrocarbons in the first reformed gas.
- a high-temperature partial oxidation gas containing high-concentration hydrogen gas and partially oxidized COG is mixed with a CO-containing gas not containing high hydrogen gas such as blast furnace gas (not higher than 300 ° C.).
- a CO-containing gas not containing high hydrogen gas such as blast furnace gas (not higher than 300 ° C.).
- the reducing gas is included in the reducing gas by setting the reducing gas blowing flow rate / reducing gas blowing flow rate ratio to the tuyere> 0.42 and the hydrogen gas concentration in the reducing gas is set to 15 to 35% by volume (wet).
- the present inventor has found that the supply flow rate of hydrogen gas to the blast furnace shaft portion can be increased as compared with the prior art.
- CO 2 discharged from the blast furnace can be reduced by increasing the ratio of hydrogen smelting in iron ore reduction in the blast furnace.
- the first constraint is that the hydrocarbon such as methane needs to be 2.5% by volume or less. This is because at the temperature in the blast furnace shaft portion, some of such hydrocarbons undergo thermal decomposition to produce solid carbon (coke). When the supply concentration of hydrocarbon is excessive, there is a problem that coke accumulates in the space between the blast furnace charges and closes the flow path, making it difficult to continue the blast furnace operation.
- H 2 O which is a source of CO 2
- crude COG generated using a coke oven provided with a means for reducing moisture is used.
- a modified COG having low CO 2 and H 2 O concentrations can be produced by decomposing tar in a carbonization furnace without adding steam.
- the crude COG is thermally decomposed at a high temperature, it is not necessary to heat up the raw material gas, and a large amount of reaction heat is not required as in the steam reforming reaction.
- the amount of CO 2 to be produced is as small as a fraction of that of the conventional method such as steam reforming.
- hydrogen gas for reduction can be supplied to a deeper position in the blast furnace (place closer to the central axis in the blast furnace radial direction), thereby reducing the iron ore reduction rate in the blast furnace with hydrogen gas.
- the reducing gas can be produced with components, temperature, and pressure suitable as the reducing gas for hydrogen smelting supplied to the shaft portion of the blast furnace.
- the reducing gas whose hydrogen concentration is adjusted to 15 to 35% by volume (wet) is supplied to the blast furnace shaft portion under the condition that the flow rate of the reducing gas blown into the shaft portion / the flow rate of the reducing gas blown into the tuyere> 0.42.
- the reducing gas supplied to the shaft portion it is preferable to use a gas in which a hydrogen concentration is adjusted by diluting a gas having a low CO concentration and a high H 2 concentration produced from coke oven gas by heat treatment reforming.
- a hydrogen-containing reducing gas (referred to as simply “reducing gas” in the following description) adjusted to a temperature suitable as a reducing gas supplied to the blast furnace shaft portion is passed through the blast furnace shaft portion (a plurality of penetrations around the blast furnace shaft).
- a port is provided, and the gas is supplied to a portion configured to supply the reducing gas.
- the reforming reaction as a premise for obtaining the reducing gas used in the present invention is as follows, taking methane as an example of the raw material hydrocarbon.
- the partial oxidation reaction of Formula 3 is generally considered to be a general reaction in which the reaction of Formula 1 continues to the next reaction.
- Solid carbon produced by the pyrolysis reforming reaction is mainly coke, and it contains some hydrogen in addition to carbon. Therefore, strictly speaking, “C n H m ( Solid carbon) ”, but since n> m in general, Expression 2 is used for simplicity of explanation.
- the gas component obtained by partial oxidation reforming reaction or steam reforming reaction (non-catalyst) of hydrocarbons under conditions greatly exceeding 1000 ° C will be completed if sufficient gas residence time is provided in the reactor. It is known to be close to the equilibrium composition at temperature (substantially reactor exit temperature). Therefore, by calculating the equilibrium component, it is possible to evaluate the reforming performance of the partial oxidation reaction and the steam reforming reaction (non-catalyst) under conditions greatly exceeding 1000 ° C.
- a thermometer such as a thermocouple is provided in the partial oxidation apparatus to measure the maximum temperature reached.
- the H 2 concentration in the inflowing gas (inflowing H 2 concentration) can be variously changed for reasons such as the difference in the raw material gas, but as an index for maintaining the H 2 reduction reaction in the blast furnace well, the above-mentioned As described above, it has been found that the operation conditions may be set so that the upper limit concentration of the shaft portion H 2 is 35% or less. That is, if the shaft portion H 2 concentration is not more than the upper limit value in the blast furnace, it can be determined that the endothermic reaction at the time of hydrogen reduction is not excessive, and that the hydrogen reduction proceeds well at the site.
- the reducing gas concentration in the blast furnace when the flow rate of the hydrogen gas supplied to the blast furnace shaft (reducing gas) is further increased can be obtained by the same numerical simulation.
- the average H 2 concentration in the vicinity of the furnace wall (corresponding to the supply reducing gas flow rate in the test blast furnace) is the upper limit value of the shaft H 2 concentration. If the H 2 concentration in the reducing gas is set to be as follows, hydrogen reduction in the blast furnace is possible (in the deeper part of the blast furnace, the H 2 concentration is lower than in the region near the wall surface, so hydrogen Because the effect of endothermic reaction during reduction is smaller).
- the inflow gas flow rate exceeds the conditions in the test blast furnace. It cannot be increased.
- the reformed gas must be diluted to lower the H 2 concentration in the inflow gas.
- the inflow H 2 concentration upper limit value decreases as the shaft portion blowing flow rate increases (increase flow rate ratio) and gradually approaches the shaft portion H 2 concentration upper limit value (35%).
- Asymptotic value of the inlet concentration of H 2 upper limit (35%) is referred to as inflow concentration of H 2 limit upper limit.
- the shaft H 2 concentration upper limit remains as it is as the inflow H 2 concentration upper limit (inflow H 2 concentration).
- Limit upper limit If there are circumstances such as workability convenience, the H 2 concentration in the inflow gas may be supplied at a concentration equal to or lower than the upper limit value.
- the vicinity of the “upper flow rate ratio upper limit value of reformed COG alone” is less than the “lower limit value of the flow rate ratio preferable for blast furnace operation” shown in FIG. 2, and is not a preferable operating condition range.
- the vicinity of "blowing flow rate upper limit value of the reforming COG alone” allows the inflow concentration of H 2 at high concentration of H 2 (inlet concentration of H 2 limit limit (far exceeds the value 35%))
- operation in this area is not preferred.
- the inflow concentration of H 2 35% or less is flowing concentration of H 2 limit upper limit, without any trouble to the blast furnace operation in the "preferred blowing flow ratio range of the blast furnace operation" of the application it can.
- the upper limit value of the inflow H 2 concentration is preferably about 35%.
- inlet concentration of H 2 of less than 35% can also be employed, in order to increase the flux flow rate of H 2, it is necessary inflow flow rate of H 2 is flowed concentration of H 2 conditions which can be a more conventional. From FIG. 3, when the inflow H 2 concentration is 15%, an inflow H 2 flow rate equivalent to the inflow H 2 flow rate upper limit value in the prior art can be realized at the upper limit value (1.0) of the possible inflow flow rate ratio. For this reason, if the inflow H 2 concentration is less than 15%, an inflow H 2 flow rate exceeding the upper limit value of the prior art cannot be realized, so that it is not appropriate. Therefore, 15% is preferable as the lower limit value of the inflow H 2 concentration.
- the lower limit value of the inflow H 2 concentration that satisfies the “preferable operating range” can be expressed by the following equation.
- [Lower limit value of inflow H 2 concentration] [Upper limit value of inflow H 2 flow rate in conventional technology (shaft blowing with COG alone)] / [Inflow gas flow rate]
- the inflow gas contains water vapor. Is inevitable. Since the water vapor in the reducing gas has the same effect as the blast furnace gas for dilution in the present invention with respect to the action of reducing the H 2 concentration to reach the deeper part of the blast furnace, the inflow H 2 concentration Should be defined as WET% containing water vapor.
- the reducing gas supplied to the shaft portion needs to have a hydrogen concentration of 15 to 35% by volume (wet).
- the reducing gas should also be supplied to the shaft at a temperature of 800-1000 ° C. so as not to interfere with the operation of the blast furnace.
- a gas having a low CO concentration and a high H 2 concentration produced from a coke oven gas is diluted with the blast furnace gas to adjust the hydrogen concentration.
- the reducing gas used in the present invention is (i) a gas containing CO, (ii) a combustible gas and oxygen burned into a reformed gas enriched by heat treatment reforming of coke oven gas. It is possible to prepare by mixing one selected from the combustion gas obtained by mixing and (iii) oxygen.
- modified COG which is a coke oven gas (COG) generated in a coke oven, which is subjected to component adjustment such as thermal decomposition in a carbonization furnace and hydrogen amplification
- COG coke oven gas
- a purified COG obtained by refining crude COG generated in a coke oven and generally used as a fuel in an iron mill may be used as a raw material COG.
- the raw material COG gas can be supplied from the COG supply source 1 shown in FIG.
- a COG gas holder or the like can be used.
- Crude COG generated during coal carbonization in a coke oven is mainly composed of aliphatic organic gas such as methane and ethane, aromatic hydrocarbon light oil gas such as benzene and toluene, and aromatic heavy hydrocarbon. Contains tar gas and the like. Further, water adhering to or contained in the coal to be used evaporates in the coke oven, so that COG generally contains water vapor.
- tar is suitable as the main substance that is thermally decomposed by the hydrogen generation reaction in the carbonization furnace.
- aromatic hydrocarbons which are the main components of tar
- the remaining hydrocarbons that have released hydrogen easily grow as macromolecules composed of a two-dimensional aromatic polycyclic structure and have a diameter of several ⁇ m.
- solid carbon particles of up to several millimeters, so that it is easy to hold the solid carbon in the carbonization furnace.
- aliphatic organic matter can also be thermally decomposed, but the solid carbon produced at that time generally has an amorphous structure in which diamond-like crystal structures are randomly arranged, and has a diameter of nanometer to submicron. Since solid carbon is generated as fine particles, it tends to be difficult to hold the generated solid carbon in the carbonization furnace or to separate and discharge the carbon from the carbonization furnace collectively.
- the reaction rate of tar is generally higher than the reaction of aliphatic hydrocarbons. It is advantageous to pyrolyze tar.
- Oxygen gas is mixed with the raw material COG in the partial oxidation reforming reactor 5, a part of the COG is combusted (partial oxidation), and the reaction rate is increased by raising the temperature of the COG to over 1200 ° C.
- Hydrogen gas is produced by decomposing and reforming hydrocarbons such as methane inside without using a catalyst. As will be described later, in the present invention, it is not necessary to decompose all of the hydrocarbons in the raw material COG.
- the temperature may be lower than the steam reforming reaction temperature. If the temperature is raised to a sufficiently high temperature exceeding 1200 ° C. during partial oxidation, most if not all of the hydrocarbons can be decomposed by the subsequent steam reforming reaction, so that there is no problem.
- the raw material COG is preheated in order to minimize the flow rate of O 2 supplied during partial oxidation.
- various commercially available heat exchangers can be used.
- an external heating method that does not cause contamination of the raw material COG is preferable.
- the temperature after preheating of the raw material COG is preferably 800 ° C. or higher and 1000 ° C. or lower.
- the preheating temperature is less than 500 ° C., the temperature reached during partial oxidation becomes lower than the reforming reaction temperature during the reforming of the hydrocarbon, and there is a problem that the hydrocarbon cannot be decomposed sufficiently.
- partial oxidation is performed by combining raw material preheating at 800 ° C. to 1000 ° C., using modified COG as a raw material, and oxygen supply in which O 2 / C is 0.4 or more and less than 0.5,
- the combined use of diluting the partially oxidized gas with the CO-containing gas makes it possible to produce a reducing gas suitable as a reducing gas to be supplied to the blast furnace shaft portion under CO 2 -saving conditions.
- the gas temperature after the temperature rise due to combustion in the reactor 5 is preferably in the range of 1200 ° C. or higher and 1800 ° C. or lower. Since the chemical reaction rate is too low at a gas temperature of less than 1200 ° C., an attempt to proceed with reforming at a temperature in this range causes a problem that the reactor size becomes enormous. When the maximum temperature of the gas exceeds 1800 ° C., there is a problem that the reactor inner wall temperature in contact with the gas is too high and the life of the furnace material is remarkably shortened.
- the volume of the reactor 5 is such that the apparent average residence time of gas ([reactor volume] / ([treatment COG flow rate (standard state)] + [externally supplied oxygen flow rate (standard state)])) is 5 seconds or more 120 What becomes below 2 second is preferable. Below this range, the reactor residence time of the process gas is too short and the methane reforming reaction does not proceed sufficiently. On the other hand, if the above range is exceeded, the reactor residence time is excessive, which causes a problem of requiring excessive equipment costs.
- COG is supplied to a coke oven without reducing the moisture of the coal
- COG containing high-concentration water vapor generated in the coke oven is extracted, and an adsorbent such as high-temperature zeolite is passed through to pass through the COG. Moisture may be reduced.
- a pyrolysis catalyst (not shown) can be disposed in the carbonization furnace 12.
- the pyrolysis catalyst is, for example, a composite oxide containing nickel, magnesium, cerium, and aluminum, and a composite oxide not containing alumina, and the composite oxide includes NiMgO, MgAl 2 O 4 , A catalyst comprising a crystalline phase of CeO 2 can be used.
- the gas transfer device 14 is a device for sucking the primary reformed gas from the carbonization furnace 12 and increasing the pressure to send it to the partial oxidation reforming device 16 (described later).
- the gas transfer device 14 needs a lift that can maintain an inlet pressure of about ⁇ 10 kPa and an outlet pressure of at least 0.2 MPa, generally about 0.2 to 1 MPa.
- a commercially available multistage axial compressor or the like can be used for the gas transfer device 14.
- the primary reformed gas from the carbonization furnace 12 is preheated by the preheating device 15 and the temperature of the aerated gas is increased by gas combustion, so that the aerated gas temperature after the temperature rise is set to a suitable range. it can.
- the preheating temperature of the primary reformed gas is preferably about 300 to 800 ° C.
- the partial oxidation reformer 16 increases the reaction rate by mixing the combustion gas with the primary reformed gas and raising the temperature of the primary reformed gas to a temperature significantly exceeding 1000 ° C. (eg, 1500 ° C.). This is an apparatus for generating hydrogen gas and CO gas by decomposing hydrocarbons such as methane in the primary reformed gas without using a catalyst. Any partial oxidation reformer 16 may be used as long as these requirements are satisfied.
- a combustor 18 is connected to the reformer 16, and oxygen gas and combustible gas are supplied to the combustor 18, and these are mixed and ignited in the combustor so that the combustion gas enters the reformer 16. Exhaust.
- a commercially available axial flow burner or the like can be used as the combustor 18.
- Oxygen gas is preferably supplied in the form of pure oxygen in terms of secondary reformed gas quality, but oxygen-containing gas such as air or oxygen-enriched air can also be supplied as oxygen gas.
- Oxygen gas and combustible gas may be supplied to the combustor 18 at room temperature, or may be supplied after preheating.
- an ignition means (not shown). For example, by providing a pilot burner (not shown) in the combustor 16, a mixed gas of combustible gas and oxygen gas can be ignited.
- the gas temperature in the reformer 16 must be maintained at least 1000 ° C. or higher.
- the maximum temperature is preferably in the range of 1200 to 1800 ° C. If the temperature is less than this temperature range, the chemical reaction rate is too low, which causes a problem that the size of the reformer 6 as a reactor becomes enormous. If the temperature range is exceeded, the reformer inner wall temperature in contact with the gas is high. This is because there is a problem that the life of the inner surface constituting material is remarkably shortened.
- the primary reformed gas contains a large amount of hydrogen gas together with methane, and the combustion speed of hydrogen gas is generally faster than that of methane gas. Therefore, when oxygen is supplied into the reformer 16, The hydrogen in the next reformed gas is consumed to produce steam. If this gas is kept at a high temperature in the reformer 16, the generated steam steam reforms the methane to produce hydrogen, so that a primary reformed gas can be formed if a sufficient high temperature holding time can be set in the reformer 16. There is no problem in the decomposition of methane. However, if this holding time is insufficient, the secondary reformed gas is exhausted before the steam reforming of methane sufficiently proceeds, so that the hydrogen gas consumed by combustion cannot be recovered. Become. Therefore, when oxygen is directly supplied into the reformer 16, the dimensions of the reformer 6 as a reaction vessel must be set sufficiently large.
- Example 1 The apparatus of the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 4 is used to produce blast furnace shaft portion supply hydrogen gas. However, instead of directly blowing the reducing gas into the actual blast furnace, gas recovery equipment is provided at a location equivalent to blowing the blast furnace shaft, and the temperature and pressure conditions there are set to typical operating conditions at the blast furnace shaft. The gas flowing into the gas recovery facility was sampled and its composition was analyzed. Specifically, a gas holder filled with purified COG as a raw material COG is used as a COG supply source. After COG from the gas holder is increased from normal pressure to 1 MPa, preheated and supplied to the partial oxidation reforming reactor, and H 2 A reformed gas containing was produced.
- the partial oxidation reforming of COG is performed by supplying oxygen gas without adding water vapor.
- CO-containing gas is supplied into the reactor on the downstream side of the region used for the reforming reaction in the partial oxidation reforming reactor (the region used to secure the apparent average residence time required for reforming).
- the reducing gas is mixed with the reformed gas and supplied to the blast furnace shaft.
- the high temperature reformed gas generated by the reaction is cooled by heat exchange between the gases mixed in the reducing gas production process, while the normal temperature CO-containing gas is heated (preheated), thereby reducing the reducing gas temperature to the blast furnace.
- a value suitable for reduction at the shaft portion (about 900 ° C.) is set.
- the main components of refined COG for raw materials are H 2 : 55%, CH 4 : 30%, CO: 7%, CO 2 : 2% (treatment of crude COG from a coke oven using unreduced coal It was the actual value of purified COG obtained in this way.
- the CO-containing gas for reducing gas production is blast furnace gas (BFG) that has been de-CO 2 treated by a physical adsorption device, and the main components of the CO-containing gas are CO: 80%, N 2 : 18% (actual value). there were.
- the partial oxidation reforming reactor was supplied with a CO-containing gas having the following three conditions. a. 0.8 times the reformed gas flow rate b. 1 times the reformed gas flow rate c. Twice the reformed gas flow rate
- the purified COG was supplied to a partial oxidation furnace to perform partial oxidation, and the reformed gas composition shown in Table 1 was obtained.
- a reducing gas was produced by mixing a CO-containing gas under the following conditions.
- the reformed gas (partial oxidation part 2) is diluted with the above-mentioned CO-containing gas at a flow rate 2.0 times that of the reducing gas (part 4): Dilute the reformed gas (partial oxidation part 3) with the above CO-containing gas at a flow rate of 2.0 times
- Table 2 shows the composition of the reducing gas supplied to the blast furnace shaft portion obtained as a result.
- the concentration of CO 2 and H 2 O was at a level where there was no problem as a reducing gas to be supplied to the blast furnace shaft portion in both examples.
- the hydrocarbon concentration of CH 4 and C 2 H 4 the reducing gas (No. 2) exceeds the upper limit value of the restriction as the reducing gas component supplied to the blast furnace shaft, and is not suitable.
- the hydrocarbon concentration condition was satisfied.
- Other reducing gases also satisfied the above-mentioned constraints on the hydrocarbon concentration.
- ⁇ CO 2 is equal to the absolute value of ⁇ CO 2 that is reduced by reducing gas (No. 4), the effect of reducing CO 2 is not obtained by reducing gas production and hydrogen smelting in a blast furnace.
- Reducing gas (part 1) to (part 3) is smaller than the absolute value of ⁇ CO 2 reduced by hydrogen smelting in the blast furnace, and the amount of CO 2 generated during the reduction gas production and the hydrogen production in the blast furnace is Can be reduced.
- the reducing gas (No. 1) and (No. 3) had ⁇ CO 2 close to the absolute value of ⁇ CO 2 in the blast furnace.
- the gas produced satisfies the required temperature and composition conditions of the hydrogen gas supplied to the blast furnace shaft.
- hydrogen can be supplied to the deep part of the blast furnace if the supply flow rate of the reducing gas exceeds 0.42 times the supply gas flow rate to the blast furnace tuyere.

- Example 2 COG extracted from a coke oven that uses coal whose moisture content has been reduced by DAPS is reformed in a carbonization furnace, purified, and recovered in a gas holder as a COG supply source. Used as COG.
- the modified COG was manufactured as follows using an actual machine. Coal whose moisture content was reduced from 10% to 4% by DAPS was transported to a coal storage tank on a coke oven by a belt conveyor, and a commercial charging vehicle was used for transport from the coal storage tank to the coke oven. From the branch pipe provided in the coke riser pipe of the coke oven, about 800 ° C. water-reduced crude COG was sucked and extracted. The extracted water-reduced crude COG was supplied to the carbonization furnace through a vent pipe that kept the surroundings warm to suppress the temperature drop.
- the reducing gas obtained in the present example satisfies all the constraints as the reducing gas component supplied to the blast furnace shaft portion described above, and ⁇ CO 2 is also the absolute value of ⁇ CO 2 in the blast furnace. sufficiently small as about half, it is possible to reduce CO 2 in total with the amount of CO 2 is reduced with hydrogen smelting blast furnace. Furthermore, compared with the actual value (see Example 1) of the refined COG composition obtained by treating crude COG from a coke oven using coal that has not been subjected to water reduction treatment as a raw material gas for partial oxidation. It can be seen that the modified COG obtained from the coal raw material subjected to water reduction treatment in the examples has an increased H 2 concentration.
- ⁇ CO 2 is smaller than any of the reducing gases of Example 1 (except for a reducing gas having an unsuitable composition (No. 2)), which is more advantageous in terms of saving ⁇ CO 2 .
- the reformed gas is produced using a conventional partial oxidation reforming reactor that does not supply CO-containing gas into the partial oxidation reforming reactor, and the CO-containing gas is separately used for a heat exchanger up to 800 ° C.
- ⁇ CO 2 at the time of mixing with the reformed gas and supplying it to the blast furnace shaft portion was determined.
- the CO 2 generation amount is calculated from the measured value of the heat consumption when the CO-containing gas is independently heated to 800 ° C., and this is then converted into ⁇ CO 2 in the reducing gas No. 3 of Example 1. In total, the total ⁇ CO 2 was calculated. As a result,?
- CO2 2 is 0.19 mol CO2 / mol H2, together with the results (Table 2 of the reducing gas (1) and (3)) exceeds the greater of Example 1 shown as a preferred example, blast furnace Since it is a value exceeding the absolute value of ⁇ CO 2 emission at (0.16 mol CO 2 / mol H 2 ), CO 2 cannot be reduced. This is because the heating efficiency of the CO-containing gas in this comparative example is lower than that of the present invention.
- COG extracted from a coke oven using coal reduced in water by DAPS is treated in a carbonization furnace (temperature of 700 ° C or higher, using Ni-MgO-based catalyst) to produce a primary reformed gas, and purified through a scrubber.
熱分解改質反応: CH4(炭化水素) → C(固体カーボン)+2 H2 (式2)

粗COG(水分低減手段を使わずコークス炉から得られたCOG、組成は表7参照)の触媒水蒸気改質を説明する。
