Definitions
- the present invention relates to a sheet manufacturing apparatus, a control method of the sheet manufacturing apparatus, and a sheet manufacturing method.
- paper is manufactured by paper making (water making) using water.
- the papermaking method is widely used as one of the methods for producing paper.
- fibers of cellulose derived from wood etc. are intertwined with each other and partially bound with each other by a binder (paper strength agent (starch paste, water-soluble resin etc))
- a binder paper strength agent (starch paste, water-soluble resin etc)
- fibers can be deposited in a state of good uniformity, and when using a paper strengthening agent or the like for bonding between fibers, the paper strengthening agent is also uniform in the paper. It can be dispersed (distributed) in a state of good sex.
- the papermaking method since the papermaking method is wet, it is necessary to use a large amount of water, and after paper is formed, the need for dehydration, drying, etc. arises, and the energy and time spent for it are very large. In addition, the water used needs to be treated properly as drainage. Therefore, it has become difficult to meet the recent demands for energy saving and environmental protection.
- dry method is expected as a method for producing paper that replaces the papermaking method, with little or no water.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a paper reclamation apparatus which has a dry fibrillation unit and deposits and disintegrates the fibrillated fibers.
- the thickness of the paper to be produced is detected by a sensor, and according to the detection result, the speed of the mesh belt for depositing fibers, the paper (raw material) supplied to the apparatus The feeding speed is adjusted to adjust the thickness of the manufactured paper.

- the settable value of the thickness of the sheet S set in the setting unit 120 is a first thickness and a second thickness that is thicker than the first thickness.
- the control unit 104 can switch the thickness of the sheet S at an arbitrary timing, for example, when the thickness of the sheet S is input to the setting unit 120 by the user, or a predetermined number of sheets S are manufactured. You can switch later.
- the moving speed of the moving body and the transport speed by the transport unit 110 are controlled by the control unit 104 in each of these cases as described below.
- Control unit The sheet manufacturing apparatus 100 is controlled by the control unit 104 to manufacture the sheet S having the thickness set in the setting unit 120.
- the setting of the thickness of the sheet S set by the setting unit 120 is referred to by the control unit 104.
- FIG. 2 is a diagram showing an example of a functional configuration of the sheet manufacturing apparatus 100 of the present embodiment.
- the control unit 104 controls the entire sheet manufacturing apparatus 100 (each component).
- the control unit 104 includes at least an additive supply unit 52, a web forming unit (second web forming unit 70), a suction mechanism 76, a moving body (mesh belt 72), and a conveying unit 110 (at least a sheet forming unit).
- the pair of calendar rollers 85 of the pressing unit 82 and the pair of heating rollers 86 of the heating unit 84 are controlled.
- the control unit 104 acquires the setting of the thickness of the sheet S set in the setting unit 120.
- the thickness of the sheet S set in the setting unit 120 may be referred to and stored by the control unit 104, and based on the result, the control unit 104 may perform the following control.
- Control of the moving speed and the conveying speed The control unit 104 changes the thickness of the web W by changing the moving speed of the moving body and the conveying speed of the conveying unit 110 according to the setting of the setting unit 120. Control is performed to manufacture a sheet S having a thickness according to the setting.
- the thickness of the sheet S changes in accordance with the thickness of the web W.
- the thickness of the web W changes according to the moving speed of the moving body (mesh belt 72). If the moving speed of the moving body is low, the thickness of the web W can be increased because the time for the mixture falling from the deposition unit 60 to be deposited is long. Conversely, if the moving speed of the moving body is high, the time for the mixture falling from the deposition section 60 to be deposited becomes short, so the thickness of the web W can be reduced.
- both the moving speed of the movable body and the conveyance speed of the conveyance unit 110 are changed according to the setting of the setting unit 120. If only the moving speed of the moving body is changed, a difference in speed will occur between the moving body and the transport unit 110 downstream of the moving body, so tension on the web W or slackening of the web W is easily made. I will understand.
- the sheet S to be manufactured when the thickness of the sheet S to be manufactured is changed by changing both the moving speed of the movable body and the conveying speed by the conveying unit 110, the web conveyed between the movable body and the conveying unit 110 Tension on W is unlikely to occur, and web W is unlikely to be pulled, broken or thinned. Thereby, the sheet S can be manufactured stably.
- the following gives some examples of such control.
- the control unit 104 may simultaneously change the moving speed of the moving body (mesh belt 72) and the conveyance speed of the conveyance unit 110. In this way, even when the thickness of the sheet S to be manufactured is changed, it is difficult to cause conveyance jam, and the sheet can be manufactured more stably.
- the control unit 104 may decrease the moving speed of the moving body after the transfer speed of the transfer unit 110 is reduced. That is, when the set thickness of the sheet S is changed to be thick, the moving speed of the moving body and the conveyance speed of the conveyance unit 110 are reduced, but at that time, the conveyance on the downstream side is performed. After the conveyance speed of the unit 110 is reduced, the moving speed of the moving object on the upstream side may be reduced. As a result, the web W transported between the moving body and the transport unit 110 can be prevented from being tensioned more reliably, and therefore the web W is less likely to be broken or thinned. Therefore, when the thickness of the sheet S to be manufactured is changed (set) to be thick, the sheet can be manufactured more stably.
- the control unit 104 may increase the transfer speed of the transfer unit 110 after increasing the moving speed of the moving body. That is, when the set thickness of the sheet S is changed to be thinner, the moving speed of the moving body and the conveyance speed of the conveyance unit 110 are made faster, but at that time, the movement on the upstream side After increasing the moving speed of the body, the transfer speed of the transfer unit 110 located downstream may be increased. As a result, the web W transported between the moving body and the transport unit 110 is unlikely to be tensioned, and the web W is unlikely to be pulled, broken or thinned. Therefore, when the thickness of the sheet S to be manufactured is changed (set) to be thinner, the sheet can be manufactured more stably.
- the transport unit 110 is a pair of calendar rollers 85 of the pressing unit 82 of the sheet forming unit 80, a pair of heating rollers 86 of the heating unit 84, and an upstream side of the first cutting unit 92 and heated.
- the roller 86 includes a roller pair 90 a provided downstream of the roller 86, and a roller pair 90 b provided downstream of the first cutting portion 92 and upstream of the second cutting portion 94.
- the transport unit 110 can further include a plurality of roller pairs. That is, the transport unit 110 can be considered to include the first roller pair and the second roller pair located downstream of the first roller pair. Also in this case, the following control may be performed from the same viewpoint as above.
- the transport unit 110 includes a pair of calendar rollers 85, a pair of heating rollers 86, a pair of rollers 90a, and a pair of rollers 90b. Therefore, in the following description, when the first roller pair is a pair of calendar rollers 85, the second roller pair is a pair of heating rollers 86, and the first roller pair is a pair of heating rollers 86. Means that the second roller pair is the roller pair 90a, and when the first roller pair is the roller pair 90a, the second roller pair is the roller pair 90b.
- the first roller pair is a pair of calendar rollers 85 and the second roller pair is a pair of heating rollers 86
- the web W is transported, and the first roller pair is a pair of heating rollers 86, the second roller
- the pair is a roller pair 90a
- the first roller pair is a roller pair 90a and the second roller pair is a roller pair 90b
- the continuous sheet S is conveyed.
- the control unit 104 may decrease the transfer speed of the second roller pair and then reduce the transfer speed of the first roller pair. That is, when the set thickness of the sheet S is changed to be thick, the moving speed of the moving body and the conveyance speed of the conveyance unit 110 are decreased, but the conveyance speed of the conveyance unit 110 is decreased. In this case, after reducing the transport speed of the second roller pair downstream, the transport speed of the first roller pair upstream may be reduced. Thereby, since tension can not be applied to the web W (or the continuous sheet S), the web W (or the continuous sheet S) is further less likely to be broken or thinned. Therefore, when the thickness of the sheet S to be manufactured is changed (set) to be thick, the sheet can be manufactured more stably.
- the control unit 104 may increase the transfer speed of the second roller pair after increasing the transfer speed of the first roller pair. That is, when the set thickness of the sheet S is changed to be thin, the moving speed of the moving body and the conveyance speed of the conveyance unit 110 are increased, but the conveyance speed of the conveyance unit 110 is increased. In this case, after the transport speed of the first roller pair on the upstream side is increased, the transport speed of the second roller pair on the downstream side may be increased. As a result, tension is unlikely to be applied to the web W (or continuous sheet S) conveyed between the first roller pair and the second roller pair, and the web W (or continuous sheet S) is pulled. Hard to break or thin. Therefore, when the thickness of the sheet S to be manufactured is changed (set) to be thinner, the sheet can be manufactured more stably.
- FIG.3 and FIG.4 is a figure which shows typically the time change of the basic weight (weight per unit area) set in order to change the thickness of the sheet
- FIG. 3 and 4 it is assumed that the density of the raw material is constant, and the change in basis weight is synonymous with the change in thickness of the web W and / or the sheet S. Further, in the present embodiment, the change in basis weight corresponds to the speed of the transfer system (moving body and / or transfer unit 110), and increasing the basis weight corresponds to reducing the speed of the transfer system. doing.
- the horizontal axes in FIGS. 3 and 4 indicate the dimension of time, but the unit and the scale are arbitrary.
- the control unit 104 can change the moving speed of the moving body and / or the transfer speed of the transfer unit 110 in stages.
- FIG. 3 is an example of changing the thickness of the sheet S to be manufactured to a larger thickness, and from the first thickness corresponding to the basis weight 60 (g / m 2 ), the basis weight 250 (g / m 2 ) The example in the case of changing into 2nd thickness corresponding to is shown.
- FIG. 3 shows an example in which the transport speed is gradually reduced (increased in basis weight), and the set basis weight (transport speed) is changed stepwise as illustrated.
- the number of steps of the stairs may be two or more, and the height of one step, that is, the change amount ( ⁇ y 1 ) of the set basis weight is, for example, 2 (g / m 2 ) or more 50 (g) as basis weight. / M 2 ) or less, preferably 5 (g / m 2 ) or more and 30 (g / m 2 ) or less, more preferably 10 (g / m 2 ) or more and 20 (g / m 2 ) or less.
- the period for the change in FIG. 3 (hereinafter referred to as change time ⁇ t) is, for example, 3 seconds to 180 seconds, preferably 5 seconds to 120 seconds, and more preferably 10 seconds to 60 seconds. .
- the control unit 104 can linearly change the moving speed of the moving body and / or the transfer speed of the transfer unit 110.
- FIG. 4 is an example of changing the thickness of the sheet S to be manufactured to a larger thickness, and from the first thickness corresponding to the basis weight 60 (g / m 2 ), the basis weight 250 (g / m 2 ) The example in the case of changing into 2nd thickness corresponding to is shown.
- FIG. 4 shows an example in which the transport speed is linearly decreased (increased by basis weight), and as shown in the drawing, the set basis weight (transport speed) is changed in a linear shape inclined.
- the period for the change in FIG. 4 (hereinafter referred to as change time ⁇ t) is, for example, 3 seconds to 180 seconds, preferably 5 seconds to 120 seconds, and more preferably 10 seconds to 60 seconds.
- the change amount ( ⁇ y 2 ) of the set basis weight is 10 (g / m 2 ) or more and 300 (g / m 2 ) or less, preferably 50 (g / m 2 ) or more and 200 (g / m 2 ) or less, More preferably, it is 100 (g / m 2 ) or more and 200 (g / m 2 ) or less. Therefore, the inclination of the inclined straight line in the case where the set basis weight is illustrated with respect to time is ⁇ y 2 / ⁇ t, for example, in the range of 0.6 to 100, preferably 1 to 50, more preferably 2 It is ⁇ 50.
- the mode (stepwise change or linear change) of the change speed of the moving object of the moving body by the control unit 104 and / or the transfer speed of the transfer unit 110 may be configured to be selectable or set by the user.
- the control unit 104 may be configured to select in accordance with the amount of change in the thickness of the sheet S. In the latter case, the moving speed of the moving body and / or the transfer speed of the transfer unit 110 can be controlled with reference to, for example, a table stored in advance.
- the thickness of the web W changes stepwise or gradually by the control unit 104 changing the moving speed of the moving body and / or the conveying speed of the conveying unit 110 stepwise or linearly. Therefore, the boundary portion where the thickness of the web W becomes thick can be easily inserted into the roller pair. In addition, when the boundary portion where the thickness of the web W becomes thin comes to the roller pair, it is difficult for vibration and the like to occur. As a result, even when the thickness of the sheet to be manufactured is changed, it is difficult to cause problems such as conveyance jams and breakage of the web W or the continuous sheet S, and the sheet can be stably manufactured.
- the sheet manufacturing apparatus 100 includes the supply unit (the additive supply unit 52) that supplies the additive to the mixing unit 50.
- the supply amount of the additive by the additive supply unit 52 may be changed according to the thickness of the sheet S set in the setting unit 120 (that is, according to the moving speed of the moving body).
- the thickness of the formed web W becomes thicker as the moving speed of the moving body becomes slower.
- the additive (resin) in the material (mixture) may not easily come off the web W.
- the path length for the additive to separate from the web W becomes long. Therefore, as the moving speed of the moving body decreases, the proportion of the additive (resin) remaining in the web W increases. In such a case, the amount of the additive (resin) supplied from the additive supply unit 52 may be controlled to be reduced.
- the thickness of the formed web W becomes thinner.
- additives (resin) in the material (mixture) may be easily released from the web W. Therefore, by increasing the moving speed of the moving body, the proportion of the additive (resin) remaining in the web W becomes low. In such a case, the amount of the additive (resin) supplied from the additive supply unit 52 may be controlled to be increased.
- the time for which the suction mechanism 76 sucks may be long, and the additive (resin) may be easily detached from the web W. Therefore, as the moving speed of the moving body decreases, the proportion of the additive (resin) remaining in the web W decreases. In such a case, the amount of the additive (resin) supplied from the additive supply unit 52 may be controlled to be increased.
- the time for which the suction mechanism 76 sucks may be shortened, and therefore, the additive (resin) may not easily come off the web W. Therefore, by increasing the moving speed of the moving body, the proportion of the additive (resin) remaining in the web W becomes high. In such a case, the amount of the additive (resin) supplied from the additive supply unit 52 may be controlled to be reduced.
- the amount of the additive remaining in the web W changes due to, for example, the thickness of the web W, the size and properties of the additive, and the suction force by the suction mechanism 76, so as described above, from the additive supply unit 52 It is desirable to appropriately control the amount of additive supplied.
- the amount (presence amount) of the additive in the sheet S to be manufactured can be stabilized. This can stabilize the mechanical strength of the produced sheet.
- the sheet manufacturing apparatus 100 includes the suction mechanism 76 (suction unit) that sucks the mixture dispersed in the air by the stacking unit 60 onto the mesh belt 72 (moving body).
- the suction force by the suction unit may be changed according to the thickness of the sheet S set in the setting unit 120 (that is, according to the moving speed of the movable body).
- the thickness of the formed web W decreases as the moving speed of the moving body increases.
- the additive (resin) in the material (mixture) may be easily released from the web W.
- the path length for the additive to separate from the web W becomes short. Therefore, by increasing the moving speed of the moving body, the ratio of the additive (resin) remaining in the web W decreases. In such a case, the suction force of the suction mechanism 76 may be controlled to be reduced. Conversely, when the moving speed of the moving object becomes slow, the suction force of the suction mechanism 76 may be controlled to be increased.
- the suction force of the suction mechanism 76 may be controlled to be increased. Conversely, when the moving speed of the moving object becomes slow, the suction force of the suction mechanism 76 may be controlled to be reduced.
- the suction force by the suction mechanism 76 may be appropriately controlled. desirable.
- the amount (presence amount) of the additive in the sheet S to be manufactured can be stabilized. This can stabilize the mechanical strength of the produced sheet.
- the sheet manufacturing device 100 can be started and stopped at an appropriate timing by user operation and / or a timer or the like.
- the settable value of the thickness of the sheet S set in the setting unit 120 of the sheet manufacturing apparatus 100 is the first thickness and the second thickness thicker than the first thickness.
- the first thickness is, for example, the thickness of PPC paper generally used in the office.
- the thickness of the paper having a basis weight of 60 (g / m 2 ) is taken as the first thickness
- the thickness of the paper having a basis weight of 250 (g / m 2 ) is taken as the second thickness. .
- the control unit 104 stops the movement speed of the moving body and the conveyance speed of the conveyance unit 110 after setting the speed according to the first thickness which is a thinner thickness.
- the web W remains between the movable body and the roller pair of the conveyance unit 110.
- the web W which is bridged and stopped between the roller pairs at the time of such a device stop is not bonded by the resin, and therefore, when it is thick, the web W is stretched even without tension. It may be stretched or loose due to its own weight.
- the control unit 104 stops the movement speed of the moving body and the conveyance speed of the conveyance unit 110 after setting the speed according to the first thickness which is a thinner thickness.
- the extension of the web W due to its own weight can be reduced. That is, since the thickness of the web W remaining between the roller pair at the time of stoppage is a relatively thin first thickness, the web W is less likely to be slack and the web W is less likely to break by its own weight.
- the sheet manufacturing apparatus 100 can be started.
- the sheet manufacturing apparatus 100 is stopped after the speed according to the first thickness is reached, but the sheet manufacturing apparatus 100 is stopped after the speed according to the thickness that the web W is not broken by its own weight. May be stopped. For example, it may be stopped at a speed corresponding to a thickness thinner than the first thickness, or may be stopped at a speed corresponding to a thickness thicker than the first thickness and smaller than the second thickness.
- a fibrillation step of fibrillating a raw material containing fibers in the air, and a mixture in which the fibrillated material and the fibrillated material in the fibrillation step are mixed in the air A web forming step of depositing the mixture mixed in the mixing step on a movable body to form a web; a transporting step of transporting the web; a sheet forming step of forming a sheet from the web; And a control step of controlling the moving speed of the movable body and the transport speed of the web by the transport unit in accordance with the setting step of setting and the thickness of the sheet set in the setting step.
- each of these steps can be performed by the sheet manufacturing apparatus 100 described above.
- the disentanglement process, the mixing process, the web forming process, the sheet forming process, the setting process and the control process are respectively the above-described disintegration unit 20, mixing unit 50, web forming unit 70, sheet forming unit 80, setting unit 120, control unit This can be done by The details of these steps are the same as the operations of the respective components described in the section of the sheet manufacturing apparatus described above, and thus the detailed description will be omitted.
- both of the moving speed of the movable body in the web forming step and the conveying speed of the web W in the conveying step correspond to the thickness of the sheet S set in the setting step. It is controlled by the control process. Therefore, for example, when the thickness of the sheet S to be manufactured is set to a large thickness, tension is hardly applied to the web W conveyed between the web forming step and the conveyance step, and the web W is pulled and broken. It is difficult to thin or thin. Also, for example, when the thickness of the sheet S to be manufactured is set thin, tension is hardly applied to the web W conveyed between the web forming step and the conveying step, and the web W is pulled and broken. It is difficult to thin or thin. Thereby, the sheet S can be manufactured stably.
- the sheet manufacturing apparatus and the sheet manufacturing method of the present embodiment use water only at all or only a slight amount, but if necessary, it is suitably used for the purpose of humidity control by spraying etc. Water can also be added to produce sheets.
- homogeneous means, in the case of homogeneous dispersion or mixing, the relative existence of one component to another component in an object that can define components of two or more types or two or more phases. It indicates that the positions are uniform throughout the system, or identical or substantially equal to each other in each part of the system. Moreover, the uniformity of coloring and the uniformity of color tone indicate that there is no light and shade of color when the sheet is viewed in plan, and that the density is uniform.
- the terms "uniform”, “same”, “equal intervals”, etc. are used to mean that the density, distance, dimensions, etc. are equal. Although it is desirable that these be equal, it is difficult to make them completely equal, and therefore include accumulations such as errors and variations without causing the values to be unequal.
- the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, and various modifications are possible.
- the present invention includes configurations substantially the same as the configurations described in the embodiments (configurations having the same function, method and result, or configurations having the same purpose and effect).
- the present invention also includes configurations in which nonessential parts of the configurations described in the embodiments are replaced.
- the present invention also includes configurations that can achieve the same effects or the same objects as the configurations described in the embodiments.
