Definitions
- the present invention relates to a shock absorber for buffering and stopping an impact when stopping a moving object by using a flow resistance of a viscous fluid.
- the present invention relates to a shock absorber having a low dust generation and dust resistance specification that suppresses dust and at the same time suppresses outflow of an oil film and intrusion of dust through the rod surface to enhance durability.
- shock absorbers in which an impact when stopping a moving object is buffered using the flow resistance of a viscous fluid are very common as disclosed in, for example, Patent Document 1, Patent Document 2, and the like.
- an oily liquid such as mineral oil is filled in the piston chamber, and a brake piston is accommodated in a state where a flow gap for the oily liquid is maintained, and a rod connected to the piston is connected to the cylinder housing.
- the shock absorber when a moving object collides with the tip of the rod protruding from the rod cover at the tip of the cylinder housing and the rod moves backward, the moving object contacts the tip surface of the rod cover. And the stop position is determined.
- the rod cover is usually made of a metal such as stainless steel, and the piston moves backward due to the collision of the moving object, and every time the moving object collides with the rod cover, the gap between the moving object and the rod cover It is usual that fine metal dust is generated due to friction of mutual displacement movement, etc., and dust is also generated before a moving object collides with the tip of the rod. Further, wear powder is also generated between the rod and the rod packing or bearing member of the cylinder housing on which the rod is slidably supported.
- the shock absorber reduces dust when a moving object collides with the rod or rod cover as much as possible, and wear is also caused between the rod and the rod packing or bearing member of the cylinder housing.
- measures such as adopting a structure that does not generate powder, or cover the above dust generation part to suppress dust scattering, forcibly suck dust of the dust generation part.
- the shock absorber when a moving object collides with the rod protruding to the outside from the cylinder housing, if dust or the like generated as described above adheres to the rod, this is the case. Intruding into the inside may cause wear of the internal structure. Therefore, it is necessary to install a dust-proof wiper around the rod to prevent foreign matter from entering.
- the rod lubricates the bearing of the cylinder housing. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent the foreign matter from entering the cylinder housing and to prevent the oil film for lubrication from flowing out through the bearing.
- the oil liquid that fills the cylinder housing and absorbs the kinetic energy of the moving object by the flow resistance also flows out, impairing the performance as a shock absorber. Become.
- the problem to be solved by the present invention is basically to prevent a moving object from colliding with the cylinder housing to prevent the generation of dust, and in addition to this, foreign matter such as dust is caused inside the cylinder housing by the rod.

It will function as a stopper that stops the moving object without making contact with the cylinder housing, and no dust is generated even if the moving object collides with the bearing formed of the above-mentioned buffering synthetic resin.
- the moving object can be buffered and stopped at a predetermined stop position. Also, since the lubricant such as grease impregnated in the lubricating member is successively replenished to the rod surface to form an oil film, the rod slides smoothly, while the dust collecting member adheres the dust adhering to the rod.
- the dust collecting member scrapes and holds the oil film that adheres to the rod and flows out to the outside, thereby preventing contamination of the external environment due to the outflow of the oil film.
- the wear of the oil film can be alleviated.

- the removed particles are difficult to be removed by the dust collecting member 24.
- the particles adhering to the surface of the rod 7 are likely to adhere to and accumulate on the inner peripheral surface of the center hole 12a of the synthetic resin bearing 12.
- the contact area of the rod 7 with respect to the bearing 12 is reduced by forming the groove 33 on the outer surface of the rod 7, so that the bearing 12 The amount of dust brought in is reduced.
- the groove 33 is a circular groove surrounding the outer periphery of the rod 7, and the groove width W is smaller than the length S of the bearing 12 and is constant over the entire circumference of the groove 33.
- the depth is not constant in the direction of the width W of the groove 33 and gradually becomes deeper toward the base end side (right side in FIG. 5) of the rod 7 as shown in FIG. That is, the groove 33 has a cross-sectional shape surrounded by two sides of the triangle, and the depth of the groove extends from the first groove end 33a on the rod distal end side toward the second groove end 33b on the rod proximal end side.
- the end of the bottom wall 33c on the first groove end 33a side is The end of the bottom wall 33c on the second end 33b side is continuous with the lower end of the side wall 33d, that is, the inner diameter end.
- the depth D of the groove at the deepest portion formed on the side of the second groove end 33b differs depending on the diameter of the rod 7, and is usually about 0.5 to 20% of the diameter of the rod 7. However, it is more preferable to set the depth to about 0.5-5%.
- the side wall 33d does not necessarily have to be perpendicular to the axis L, and may be inclined at an angle that gradually approaches the proximal end side of the rod 7 as it goes to the outer diameter side.
- the position on the rod 7 where the groove 33 is formed is such that, when the rod 7 is in the initial position of FIG. 12 is a position where the groove 33 can come into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the center hole 12a of the bearing 12 when the rod 7 is pushed into the bearing 12 by a moving object.
- the groove 33 passes through the bearing 12 and reaches the dust collecting member 24 when the rod 7 is pushed into the bearing 12 to the maximum extent by the moving object 4 and reaches the buffer stop position.
- the groove 33 is formed at a position that does not come into contact with the lubricating member 25 even when the rod 7 is pushed to the buffer stop position, whereby the lubricating member 25 impregnated with the lubricating member 25 is formed.
- the oil can be prevented from being taken out by the groove 33.
- a plurality of the grooves 33 can be formed in the rod 7 as in the shock absorber 50D of the fourth embodiment shown in FIG.
- the plurality of grooves 33 may be arranged at equal intervals or at irregular intervals, and the arrangement of the plurality of grooves 33 is as shown by a chain line in FIG.
- the bearing 12 by forming the groove 33 on the outer periphery of the rod 7, when the rod 7 is pushed into the bearing 12, the bearing 12 The contact area of the rod 7 with respect to the rod 7 is reduced by the width of the groove 33, and therefore, compared to the case where the groove 33 is not formed on the rod 7, dust adhered to the outer peripheral surface of the rod 7 and brought into the bearing 12. The amount is reduced, and it becomes difficult for the sliding property of the rod 7 to deteriorate due to dust adhering to the inner peripheral surface of the bearing 12.
- a felt-like dust trapping material 35 can also be provided inside the groove 33, whereby dust adhering to the inner peripheral surface of the bearing 12 can be removed. It can be scraped off and captured by the capturing material 35 and efficiently discharged to the outside.
- the groove 33 has a circular shape.
- the groove 33 may have a spiral shape like the shock absorber 50E of the fifth embodiment shown in FIG.
- the length of the groove 33 is a length that surrounds the rod 7 one or more times.
- the groove 33 may have a certain depth in the width W direction, or the cross section may be U-shaped. Furthermore, instead of the circular or spiral groove 33 surrounding the outer periphery of the rod 7, a linear groove extending in parallel with the axis L, a curved groove forming a part of the spiral, or the like is formed on the outer surface of the rod 7. In this case, it is desirable to arrange a plurality of grooves around the axis L at equal intervals.
