Abstract

Ein Belüftungseinsatz (1, 1') zur Anordnung in oder auf Textilien, umfassend mindestens eine Lage (2), die mindestens teilweise von einem Absorptionsmaterial (3) bedeckt ist und Lüftungsöffnungen (4) aufweist, wobei die Lüftungsöffnungen (4) unter Einwirkung von Flüssigkeit aufgrund einer Quellung des Absorptionsmaterials (3) zumindest teilweise verschlossen werden können, erhältlich durch ein Verfahren, umfassend die folgenden Verfahrensschritte: a) Behandeln einer Lüftungsöffnungen (4) aufweisenden Lage (2) mit einer Mischung, enthaltend ein polymerisierbares Monomer oder Oligomer und einen Vernetzer, als Vorstufe für das Absorptionsmaterial, (3) ein Benetzungsmittel und einen Initiator und b) Polymerisation des Monomers oder Oligomers zu dem Absorptionsmaterial (3) unter Ausbildung einer stoffschlüssigen Verbindung zwischen dem Absorptionsmaterial (3) und der Lage, ist im Hinblick auf die Aufgabe, einen Belüftungseinsatz derart auszugestalten und weiterzubilden, dass dieser nach kostengünstiger Fertigung dauerhaft und feuchteunabhängig eine relativ geringe Dicke und ein geringes Flächengewicht bei hoher Flexibilität aufweist, einlagig ausgebildet werden kann, selbstabdichtend Lüftungsöffnungen verschließt und das Absorptionsmaterial verliersicher umfasst, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Absorptionsmaterial (3) zumindest bereichsweise stoffschlüssig an die Lage (2) angebunden ist.
