Abstract
La presente invencion esta dirigida a materiales recubiertos que se dilatan en agua, generalmente solidos particulados, materiales que se dilatan en agua, es decir materiales que comprenden polimeros formadores de hidrogel, de los cuales por lo menos una parte esta recubierta con un recubrimiento que practicamente no se rompe cuando los polimeros se dilatan, tal como se establece en el metodo de la presente. Dicho recubrimiento esta presente en un nivel de por lo menos 1 % en peso del material que se dilata en agua. El recubrimiento comprende preferentemente un material de polimero elastomerico. La invencion tambien se refiere a productos, por ejemplo articulos absorbentes desechables, que comprenden tal material recubierto que se dilata en agua.
