Abstract
Se proporciona una resina absorbente al agua la cual, cuando se usa como un material absorbente, mantiene un rendimiento alto de absorción al agua, incrementa la difusividad de un líquido a absorberse y hace esto posible para disminuir efectivamente la cantidad de re-humectación; y un artículo absorbente formado usando un material absorbente incluyendo la resina absorbente al agua. La resina absorbente al agua de acuerdo con la presente invención es una resina absorbente al agua obtenida al polimerizada un monómero etilénicamente soluble al agua en presencia de un agente reticulado interno y de aquí en adelante post-reticulación del polímero con un agente de post-reticulación, caracterizado porque cuando se somete a una prueba de flujo líquido, la resina absorbente al agua tiene un índice de material absorbente efectivo (K) indicado por la ecuación (I) de 250 o mayor. El índice de material absorbente efectivo (K) = [(la cantidad de flujo líquido) (g)] x [(relación de absorción de orina artificial) (g/g)] (I).
